Thank you very much Dr Sharon for the incredible work you are doing to help students pass their NCLEX. I just passed my, and I am so grateful for your videos. They have tremendously helped me to pass NCLEX.
Thank you very much Dr. Sharon for always sharing. Your videos are quite helpful. I may be wrong and I stand to be corrected but I believe that your answer for question 7 appears not to be the correct option. Desmopressin can cause a low sodium level so the instruction would be to increase dietary intake of sodium. Nurses are usually to monitor for hyponatremia in patients taking this medication. My apologies please. I still remain your student.
Yay i got all right I watch all video since i fail first time in nclex Now preparing for 2nd time and now i am studying by system which help me alot Thank you dr sharon

In addison’s disease, there is low level of aldosterone and the function of aldosterone is that it retains sodium and excrete potassium so, in addison’s disease we have low sodium level then why we don’t teach the patient to increase salt intake in Q3. Could someone explain me why?

I will look into this!
Exactly!! I thought so too. Diabetes insipidus is not related to blood sugar.
Limiting fluid levels during therapy because desmopressin reduces urine output and so excess fluid intake causes water retention..
God bless you
I learnt alot today@@klimekreviews
I think desmopressin acts as a ADH which holds the fluid back in the body so this med cause hypervolemic hyponatremia so ans a must be correct
Thank You Dr Sharon for this beautiful teaching
