Hi regarding desmopressin. isnt one of the adverse reaction of desmopressin is water in toxication. i guess limiting fluid intake during the therapy would be necessary, isnt it?

Hie Dr Sharon, I just want to say thank you with the tips and tricks to ace NCLEX. I sat on the 27th of December 2024 and l passed the NCLEX RN exam on 1st attempt. Words fail me to express my gratitude.

Statin drugs are taken in evening think as s for statin and s for sunset because the cholesterol is synthesized mostly at night time so we are taking the drug to lower the cholesterol level. All drug name ending in statin belongs to statin drugs but nystatin is a exception as nystatin is anti-fungal medication

In addison’s disease, there is low level of aldosterone and the function of aldosterone is that it retains sodium and excrete potassium so, in addison’s disease we have low sodium level then why we don’t teach the patient to increase salt intake in Q3. Could someone explain me why?

The way i remember is “fear the sun” for the drug causing photosensitivity which is f for fluoroquinolone, t for tetracycline and s for sulfa drugs
