Thank you for the lesson. Usually these videos put me right to sleep, but you had my attention the whole time. Also, I understood everything!!! You are a great professor and this means a lot since I cannot attend lessons in school/am learning straight from the book! You have gained a sub.
Hello, I would just like to leave a feedback on this lecture. IT WAS SOOOOOOOOO GOOD! As a Nurse going back to practice in the hospital this lectures help me get back to my feet again. More power to you and the team who is behind this.
Thank you so much Franz! Wow. I am truly honored. Happy to help in what way I can and so happy to hear this lesson and my teaching were received so well. All the best on your return to hospital practice.
I am a 4th year resident murse. Learned a lot from you since these years.. thank you so much. Hope your videos gonna help future students as well. A great thank you for years of education. Love from india ❤️
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment and really great to hear these videos have been helpful for you over the years! Truly happy to know they have been helpful for you (and so many others).
I had to study this last year and had a great instructor! This year I’m doing a refresher and the instructor is terrible at explaining this through zoom. Thank you for this. ❤
Hi I'm 26 and have low estrogen so I am trying to brush up on my knowledge of the endocrine system before seeing the endocrinologist. Thank you for the easy to understand lesson
Watching, because I’ve been having continuous anxiety that starts before I wake fully, and my tummy starts churning, then the adrenaline, then the anxiety. Doctors are still trying to figure out why. They did say I have a higher red platelet count, above normal, but don’t know why either. However, all this did start within the month that Covid, lockdown and Homeschooling started, and I immediately stopped periods that month and was told I was in post menopause. So I think it’s definitely hormone related. Thank you for the video, I will check out your other videos.
Thank you, so much 21 minutes better than 3hrs lecture at the class there's more concepts and the English it's easy to understand also the pictures helps to understand more😊
Amazing work and wonderful refresher… like a nice breath of fresh air to my memory because I’ve always adored the heart ♥️. I plan to watch all of these and tell as many other DNP students about this!
Using this to study for my A&P2 exam this week and after watching this it helped me so much!! I'm a visual learner and this really made me feel more confident.
Any chance you could take as screen shot of your final animations? I would love to be able to print them as a study guide.if you do? Would you link it in the video’s description box?
Endorine gland dumps hormones into the blood stream. How do hormones get out of the blood stream and into the semifluid surrounding the cells? Is not the blood stream a closed loop with oxygen and CO2 gasses being diffused, but hormones are soluble solids?
Great question. While the blood stream is a closed loop, the walls of vessels, particularly in the capillaries are semipermeable. The hormones can diffuse across at the target organ and bind with receptors either on the cell membrane or within, depending on the hormone.
