+midwestlax59 the barrel was 22". We used 175gr SMK BTHP and Varget powder. Start your powder load at 40.5gr and go up from there until you find a load your rifle performs best with.
Is that .300 bore or .299? Im building a rem 700 with a bartlein m24 26" 5r 1:11.25 .299Im going to run it suppressed l. Same suppressor you have. What poi are you getting.?Still not sure if im going to run it at 26" or 22" any advice . 300-900 yards use.
How long was that barrel, i have a 1:11.25 twist barrel that is 22 inches and i am really lost trying to build up a load, a little advice would be great, thanks
v8esprit yes, we have shoot 1:10 AAC with 168 and 175 and the 168 have shoot better tighter groups. I just finished another AAC accuracy package and plan on doing a video to show what bullets shoot better. stay tuned. thanks for watching...
Miss you buddy….that last group is what we strive for

Love your work Johnny, and look forward to your videos.
Cheers
Oh man that's one sweet looking rifle!!
that's a pretty cool rig...curious to see how far it will push those 168s before they fall on there face . cool build man
Awesome builds and really enjoy the videos btw
168gr are great match rounds out to about 900yds. If you want 1000yd performance that is worth showing off, you'll need the 175s.
Are the 168's ok for 1000 yards? I've heard that they keyhole.
They will work. They are better for 800 and in. My 1100 and in is max charge of varget with 175 smk

Sweet
nice shooting
Are you still in business? Thank you 🙏
nice builds. not a big fan of the tacitcal cow camo pattern though its all i see ahhhh!
Nice rifle
Johnny, the accuracy speaks for itself but when it comes to those heavy bullets, wouldn't you recommend a 1:10 twist?

1:11.25 is the optimal twist rate for 175 smk
Lol stretch to 500 - 1000 yards. That’s the real test
Do a 20 shot group.
Yo man u didnt have to bring the rifle to the target, we know u wanna show it off lol!
His rifle builds look too sweet not to bring them down to the targets... Lol!
@@timholmes1268 Plus I feel anxiety being away from a nice rifle, fear of it being "borrowed". lol
How far off the lands do you seat the 168's?
How do you get in touch to purchase one of your weapons and find out the prices
peter moore you can reach us by email: johnnyscustomgun@aol.com for more information.
20 " barrel?
Does anybody know if JCS Guns still in business
You can't see any of the holes don't you look at this when you make the video
Is that the silencerco brake? If so how is it?
andrewroberson724 this does have a silencerco brake. It greatly decreases recoil, but anyone standing near you will feel the concussion.
