Storyline: Batman Ninja takes a journey across the ages as Gorilla Grodd's time displacement machine transports many of Batman's worst enemies to feudal Japan - along with the Dark Knight and a few of his allies. The villains take over the forms of the feudal lords that rule the divided land, with the Joker taking the lead among the warring factions. As his traditional high-tech weaponry is exhausted almost immediately, Batman must rely on his intellect and his allies - including Catwoman and the extended Bat-family - to restore order to the land, and return to present-day Gotham City.

Katanas were made for quick slashes to end fights quickly. They would break if they were used in prolonged combat like this.

They wouldn't break from it obviously and neither would katanas, they're both made from steel for fuck sake they're not just gonna snap like a toothpick that easily, true, katana's were generally made from a lower quality steel but they weren't gonna snap from a fight like this

I understand why people don't like this movie, but my god I found it to be one of the most badass and unique Batman films ever made. The animation is BEAUTIFUL.
Check out Ghost In The Shell 2 (the film not the TV show) for more jaw dropping animation - and made nearly 20 years ago I believe
The animation looks so weird to me. It’s like they really wanted it to be 2D animated but we’re too lazy to draw it out so they just decided to use fake CGI to make it look like 2D

I don't care for the animation style, but big credits for this being one of the only fight scenes I've seen where the characters get noticeably tired and battle-damaged as the fight wears on. Doesn't happen often enough

I believe a master once said that a complete novice with a reckless approach is often more dangerous than a trained fighter because no telling WHAT they might do with no direction or discipline that would make them act rationally and predictably in a fight.
They might try something that no expert would be crazy/stupid enough to and pull of purely because of the element of surprise involved.

Considering how purple was a rare and expensive dye back in ancient times, Joker's armour must've cost a fortune in colour alone.

The attention to detail in this fight was really nice. Jokers smudged makeup, Jokers swords breaking after a long extensive fight, the fatigue Batman and Joker clearly have after fighting each other and the actual visible battle damage that can be seen by the end (of the fight, not the video), It’s just a really nice fight.
Except for the part where they kept smashing their swords into one another yet the blades came out fine, aside from Batman finally giving the side of Joker's a good shove.

This Joker and the delivery of his lines is absolutely perfect. Nobody beats Mark Hamill, but this is definitely a close second. I love the type of Joker that actually, you know, "jokes." A good example of what I'm talking about is the "PSYCHE!" moment at 2:43.

4:00 I like the idea of the Joker's katana hilt being a pair of joke dentures, great attention to detail.
The rooftop fight was the best part of this movie. The joker rising up backwards and showing his true insanity was classic.
This is one of those films that you never forget, but the name you never remember. One of those films that you don’t really care if it was really good or bad, you just want to watch it again because it felt like a damn fever dream when you first watched it. I’ve been finding this for years actually. Thanks.

This form is called Sengoku Batman in the movie. Ninja Batman doesn't appear until his armor breaks off, revealing ninja-yoroi fashioned like the Batsuit. The uploader got the name wrong, causing confusion for all.
