I like how out of all the incredible games that could've gotten a sequel, Nintendo chose... this

This will be great. Snoy incels that are anti-social, anti-family and anti-exercise should quit blaming Nintendo because they don't have any family or friends. Or because they suffer from body issues. Nintendo's audience is all about party games and arcade games. Its their biggest genre. You aren't apart of the average joe, family gaming audience that is Nintendo's demographic. Nintendo isn't for shut in Incel anime weirdos. Just because someone identifies as some Nintendo avatar character and liked a Mario game once doesn't mean they known anything about gaming or its audience. Lol.

This is one of the games of the year. The gameplay is there, the cutscenes are visible. Overall it's a game.

This game is so nostalgic. Reminds me when my friends and I had a month to complete a working game at school and we crammed a few mini games into it using pictures as assets.

I really don't see how online connectivity would even be a feasible option for these kind of party games. Save it for the next LAN Party I guess.
Honestly most of these types of games seem to be meant for local play anyway
I assume they're more for like church youth groups, or those types of big groups

@@Manel-dq2kb I guess it could be technologically feasible for a few games where stuff like spatial position and orientation don't matter, but I can't see the fun in sitting alone in front of your TV watching a bingo wheel turn.

This is definitely a game. One of the most gamey games in game history.
I'd go as far as to say it's in the top two 1-2-Switch games ever released.

Played the first one since launch, had a blast at quite a few partys with it. Especially with family who don't normally play video games. Glad it has a sequel!

I’d like to suggest another minigame for this: Pizzeria! The game would be exclusive to smart device mode. Each player will have to rely on the pizza sample shown on the Switch’s screen and then rearrange the toppings to match the sample before their pizzas are baked. The more similar their pizza is to the sample, the more points. There will be 3 Variants:
Pizzeria 1- Position reference is present for toppings, sample is shown on screen throughout.
Pizzeria 2- Position reference is absent for toppings, sample is shown on screen throughout.
Pizzeria 3- Position reference is absent for toppings, players have to memorise the sample.
Over 100 people on smart devices!? This will be perfect for big bingo halls
I will defend 1-2-Switch as being a pretty fun time for drunk friend parties, this follow-up is at least keeping that same spirit alive

Though the one thing this game has going for it is very quick minimalist games and the use of smart phones is brilliant as you can't expect to play with 18 people at the same time as you'll normally end up with a lack of controllers. So in that end yes it's ok for a bunch of players (especially highly drunk ones) at the same time
Joy con hide and seek is like Wii party hide n hunt. That game is so fun

honestly I am loving the addition on this sequel to the use of smartphones. Pun attended, I find that actually a smart move. I also loving the ideas behind these minigames also more than the first.
The smart phone integration is an interesting idea, but I'm concerned that it might not be supported forever
It seems like it could work local based like how sending files is with the Switch. As long as that's the case, it's always going to work

Imagine if they have an New Mario Party game that uses smartphone as controllers (As well as Joy-Cons for 4 players) like if they brought back Bowser Party from Mario Party 10!

I had a great time play the first 1 2 Switch. I don't know why people hate the idea of this so much. These games are very fun
Because these games require multiple people and actually would be interested to play. Out of all the multiplayer first party Nintendo games ask like 5 of your friends, would you play this? Or Smash or Mario Kart?
It does have a lot of good ideas, but the execution of a lot of them is pretty lacking
In my opinion, what’s killing it is that there’s no way to play online and how short the minigames are.
By changing minigames to be short but engaging party games similar to Jackbox, it can do a lot more and is better promotional wise because content creators love to eat that stuff up.

It might end up being a breakout hit at company meetings, church gatherings or schools. Anywhere where one Switch might congregate with 100 smartphones. It reminds me of a Japanese Undokai (School Sports Day)
