This brings back so many memories. I camped along the river Barrow in 88 and 89 I walked from Dublin to Dingle, mostly camping in the wild. Keep postind these video's !
Perhaps random but I have noticed you always sit, kneel and prayer on the left hand side of the churches you visit 😊. Really enjoy your content. Keep it coming.
Hello you! 😉 You looked tired Derek but that can happen with a lie in. Wet socks and boots though are no fun and must be sore if the skin crinkles 😮. Derek, have you ever visited Scotland? You would fall in love, honest the scenery in parts is awe inspiring and very spiritual. Particularly the north west. Please require dry socks and if you buy a paper stuff it into your boots at night. 😉 Love your endurance and tenacity as well as skill. 👍
Funny how you travel light. Less is more. Enjoying the churches. When theres less. We have more time. Time is precious. So riches are found without posessions. Peace is got when alone.❤
Squelchy wet sock & shoes isn't the best. Hopefully you can dry them out completely at night. Borris is a lovely spot. Hopefully they'll get a little coffee shop on the go soon.
Hey Derek. Do you have any tips for staying safe when you have to walk along busier country roads? I'm always trying to find ways to cycle between villages in Clare and mostly it's fine on the back roads but the last 500m before a village it'll tend to join bigger routes... so will have been widened or have more traffic on it making it much more dangerous. Just in case I'm missing something. 😅 Me and my son would love to go on overnight hikes and longer walks, this is one of my pathetic excuses
HELLO Derek.
I can't believe you are bringing us on these lovely walks.
