Practically what one of the two coaches taught me, without knowing that it was peekaboo style, because I was a little stuck on my feet, so there is a woman, a regional champion, who taught me To move more. Before, all I did was take blows until I tired my opponent, but actually blocking blows with my face can't be called technique 🤭
Hello I am from Colombia and I really wanted to thank you very much for your tutorials, I can not go to boxing schools cuz in my city there are no schools and I've improved a lot with your tutorials u know, keep uploading tutorials and you really are an excellent boxer
Gracias por tus conocimientos y enseñanzas de este estilo que lo entierran en el.olvido después de retirado mike tyson y el gran maestro damato. Bendiciones a ti y a los tuyos hermano.
with all due respect brother but one thing worth considering is peekaboo style is benefiting strong physiques. it won't be effective otherwise that's why 99% of people who try this will never be good at it - for average Joe conditioning of the body will take 5 or 10 years to just make strong, solid foundations which means - strong as hell legs/back/shoulders and traps. its not style for weak just like pendulum step is not for short guys
@@madhookersboxingmartialarts it looks nice when you shadowbox but throwing bombs through the target require incredible core power - accuracy and speed isn't enough for this edit; without raw strength you won't get respect required in such demanded style when you are actually all the time inside
I don't understand, why the numbering is different just like the jab that should be "1" turned to "7" could you explain this to us so we could understand? thanks
I've seen videos that teach not to go side to side, but rather forward and to the side, and only just a little bit not full range of motion. Can anyone help me understand the different approaches?
I teach two types of slips. Basic slip and forward slip. Basic slip is you bend more at the waist and used more on the outside. The forward slip I use more on the inside for more leverage on throwing hooks and uppercuts. However, the peekaboo slip is more side to side
Yo quick question I’ve been practicing peekaboo style boxing here and there because I believe it’s a type of style that’s for me I’m pretty short and pretty young do you have a boxing gym you can recommend for me I’m in the US
Is peek a boo not really suitable for tall people? Like I am 6’1 and outboxer but growing up, Mike Tyson is my idol. I tried peek a boo but it kinda look weird on me. What would you suggest?
I'm 6-2 and my style is mainly a peekaboo style. Depends on who you're going against. Either a fight or sparring. If you're going against a shorter fighter, you're going to use your reach more and more footwork on the outside to control distance. But if you go against a taller fighter, you can use your head movement and try to get close to throwing those inside combinations.
Thank you brother 💥💥💥

Thanks for the comment. You're thinking you have to be built like Mike Tyson and do the peekaboo boxing system which is 100% incorrect.

Every boxing gym that uses a number system is different. Normally the 123 is a jab cross hook and then the rest of the numbers are different.
Peekaboo number system is different. People who know about peekaboo from Cus D’Amato know what these numbers are
thanks for the reply.. now I understand
