This is definitely a unique take on the best wives. I didn't expect Njada to rank so high, but I do appreciate Taarie was included. One of my characters married her and she definitely has the most interesting dialogue out of all spouses, that I've seen. I like it when she says something like "You and I are the only people worthy of love." She's still haughty, but now includes your character as part of the elite in her eyes. It's actually endearing.

I'm not using mods on my current playthrough, but there's a mod that fixes it. Relationship dialogue overhaul was the name, I think.
I use a single mod to marry whoever I want, and she’s Jarl Elisif. I always side with the Stormcloaks so in the end she’s not affected by the civil war outcome(cause she’s my wife), she’s with me in Windhelm, stating her ultimate betrayal to Tullius and the Empire. Not to mention that with this settled, I can make myself High King more easily.

PLEASE .. narate these youraelf instead of using software .. the inability to pronounce properly is painful ... example Whiterun beung pronounced Witaroon .. serioisly ? And there are many many many more thru many videos
Marriage sucks in Skyrim. Unless you're using mods, having a spouse is pointless.
If you like earning XP faster it's not pointless. Lovers comfort increases the rate skills improve by 10 or 15%.
They start a shop and earn money. Have you played the game?
