I tried target potential customers who I thought might want ceramic coatings and paint correction. The key words “I thought”. Most customers don’t want it. I realized It’s not about what I think, it’s about what the customer wants. I find myself doing more interior details than anything. And it’s okay. It’s help me improve my interior skill set. Just my 2 cents.
Man, every single word you said in this video is completely the truth. I’m still trying to build my business, I’ve only been detailing for almost 4 months while working at a restaurant, I made a rough business card that only had my name, number and my services, I started handing my business card to my customers at the restaurant and some of them would just leave it on the table, it really hurt my feelings at the beginning, but now it’s different, I’m slowly building my clientele and 100% of my customers have been happy with the results.
@@OhSnapSon I have the same thing happened to me with people taking my cards and leave them where they were. It's a waste of money printing them but no one really wants them..
At 7:24 u mentioned offer what your good at. Thats a great tip. For many reasons. Ot keeps it simple. There a 80/20 rule that can supersede the business. It goes like if you offer 80% of packages ur gonna strike 20% Compared to if you Offer 20% of certain packages(exterior wax paint corrections or interior details reconditioning) ur gonna get 80%of that and focused on that and will 10x because the funnel is faster
Very true! I have a couple clients that are thinking about ceramic coatings after I’ve applied a sealant to their vehicle. They notice the difference and the longevity of sealants vs traditional waxes.
Been looking at detailers and your videos I watched all of them and subscribed you speak lot of positive and truth I can relate, thinking about leaving my 10PM-6:30AM airport job to pursue this dream of mobile car detailing just scared to leave and then it not work out I won’t lie there’s lots of mobile detailers around me and always driving around need some advice if anyone has some definitely listening to all this is something i would like to get my son on when he comes of the age also
Thanks for tuning in. It’s okay to be scared. Now you have something to work towards. The unknown can be scary. The fear will subside once you put in the work
Great video love the knowledge that you spittin I agree 100% with mostly everything you're saying. In my area my problem with detailers is there killing me right now with these prices and everybody and their mama offering food meals out of the kitchen or they are detailer all the sudden. I just keep it moving don't change my prices and anticipate raising my prices soon
Yo i love the process so sick i have similar. Always trying new ways.. Currently after wash and rinse while the car is wet i spray beadmaker on then dry it off. Its a drying aid and also it adds gloss and slick as it cures, then after u can also put another topper amd its EXTRA glossy and slick..
I'm so glad I found this channel. For 6 years, I've been looking at detailers, researching the chemicals even bought an SPTA polisher to start but I'm afraid that I'd fail or people wouldn't pay the prices. I think I needed to see this video so that I can try. 🙏🏽 I like that these videos are without all the fancy editing and fluff. Gives me a more realistic perspective
I always watch your videos and follow your advice.. I have been detailing for about 3 years now. I have 25 reviews, all 5 stars, but even with that many reviews and ⭐ stars, I'm not getting book like I expected. I only detail on weekends, but I think I sho6be getting more clients.😊 I don't run ads on any platforms like , Instagram, Facebook, TikTok nor google. Speaking of google, I realized that I need a website to run Google ads. And I forgot, the detailed from my personal car. What advice can you offer me
I see a lot of new detailers spending thousands or going in debt for $30k to get a van and equipment at h2o or other people that do setups and yet they got no website yet, I started with the Honda Odyssey van 5 years ago which I bought $1700 and still use today. Detailing is very unpredictable, the weather alone could fuck you up for weeks weather is hot or cold or raining, not everyone lives in LA or Florida
one question i have is what do you do with peoples belongings? do you carry bags and try to neatly stack items and organize? or do most people kind of take out a lot of the big things beforehand?
@@AAProfessionalServices i ask because i live in an apartment for the first time in my life i dont have a drive way. so i need to wash my car and will do a mobile detail on my own car anyway. so i thought it would be cool to also wash others cars if they ask but your video is true about why it struggles because im already making excuses before i start but thanks for the clarification i guess one of my fears is touching peoples things and they get mad but then again they probably wouldnt call a detailer if they were organized to begin with x)
@@AAProfessionalServices thank you! i see you believe in God too, at the moment im doing delivery work and i get by pretty well but sometimes i dont like doing so many small orders and would like to do car wash or cutting grass and fixing up yards because i enjoy it more and can do less jobs in a day for the same or more money if god is willing i will get some stuff to do my own car and if people see me on the street or i see them trying to wash their own car ill offer my help as well... i watched about 10 of your videos last night, thanks very helpful.
How come you don’t ever use those detailing brushes to detail just want to know the reason behind it and does it make u more efficient using just towels?
Is it possible to just have a business just doing interior cleaning only? Do people actually have those things? I’m new to this industry. Sorry for my ignorance.
@@AAProfessionalServices I see a detailer who acts like he's the best "gangster" detailer. And he's good, but he has no modesty. He actually makes himself look foolish. I think a lot of people see him on youtube and take detailing too serious. You on the other hand, have no ego. You are modest and professional. Nothing but class.

Daily drivers don't want ceramic coatings for the most part.
I literally just binge watched your videos. I truly hope this channel grows tremendously
Thanks for taking interest. I really appreciate it

That is a nice Volvo, the color and the interior is nice.

Great words of advice. I'm 2 years into my detailing business and learning more each day about what customers want out of a detail.
That's the best research you can do.
Im two years in too..
think also it goes on what type of clients you decide to target.

Man that Bentley looks tight. Sweet work.
Thanks 🙏🏿
Awesome video Ant as always, detailers flexing on detailers is and will always be lame to me
Most of them are insecure.
Love the editing , clean 🧼

Did you post pics regularly on google. Did you respond to the 25 reviews. Also is your google listing in an area that can afford your prices
Another great video by A&A Professional Services
Thanks

Facts 💯
I live near them and you'll see them on sale in a month or 2 for less than half
I’m not surprised

I encourage them to remove all items prior to my arrival. If not I will work around it or bagged it

Yes. There is a market for interior cleaning only.

Like the video and advice. Not crazy about the music. Too distracting. Keep up the good work. I'll give u a like and sub
Thanks for the sub and viewing the content
why it feels as he is trying to rap his words to rytham of background music
You’re the only one that feels that way
Already
Yes sir
I'm staying with it
No doubt. Be consistent
I wonder if Im wrong for reading between the lines....😊
