The first few days were busy with advertising and doing family memebers for free so i could get pictures.got my first job yesterday, it went good. Lots of requests today, and 1 appointment for sunday! Hood thing i havent quit my day job but still!
Great video man, I’ve watched lots of videos on UA-cam for detailing and yours was the most to the point and honest. Just started my own business and this is motivating.
A coating a day keeps the doctor away! That was my motto, $1K ceramic coating done in 8 hours or 4 if the car was new. Detailing is a tough gig, it’s hard to do it for years and not get burnt out on it.
Awesome suggestion, ceramic coating is definitely a service beginner detailers can always look into down the road, the first step in detailing however is learning the basics and going from there!
Really good videos. Some caution cones and tape around an open vehicle on the street would be something I would add to the van for employee safety and it may come in clutch for insurance purposes if there ever was an accident. Keep up the good work.
Me and my brother are starting a business in newhampshire we have a trailer build right now, and definitely thinking about getting a van build but this video was very informational thank you!
hey bro i just wanna say thank you for putting these videos out and helping me start my business. i hope this youtube channel helps you make a big profit too
This business has become very competitive in the past 3-4 years I remember in my city there were only a few known detailers now there's about 100 detailers
And sometimes you should market in smaller areas where detailers don't go as much, then provide a greater service to them so when they make a review or become a maintenance customer others may start wanting you instead of the city dwellers. I did this myself and I'm far more successful than the detailers in the city.
This channel is very informative I’m been thinking of doing mobile detailing as a side hustle for the weekends. Can you post a video that breaks down what each of the detail packages include and how to know how much to detail depending on package chosen by the customer. I subbed 👍
Can you pls do a video on how you have your appointments set up like what you use for website, bookings, payments and all that in detail? Loving the content!
Loved the video Randy! I'm thinking about getting into the detailing business. What kind of capital did you start with and do you have an LLC? In which ways are you marketing? Thank you and have an amazing week!
Hey Tyler I’m fixing to make a video on this really soon however I do have an LLC and as far as marketing we give about everything a try from word of mouth to social media and a big one - google my business 👍🏻 hope that helps!
Great advice, any chance you could go over what chemicals you use and what the cost is per detail for your business? Looking to start my own business and have a chemical line in mind but curios about cost per car, or rough estimate of how long chemicals will last compared to cost.
Hey man I respect your drive and hussle , I live in Los Angeles CA area and I been thinking of starting my own mobile detailing company. After seeing your videos you inspired me to get started now. Ik your busy guy but was wondering if you have time to talk over the phone I would really like to speak to you more in depth about this business. I’m 23 and young entrepreneurs like you motivate me to achieve higher everytime. Thank you for your time in reading this as well!
Hello, i saw you were wearing something at 10:30 and was wondering what is it called and if you could maybe give me the link so I could get it to hold my things too. Thank you 🙏
I think the hourly rate is determined by how fast you or (how many employees) can finish the same service as a single detailer. A single detailer may take up to 4 hours on this same package for the same price, as opposed to 2 detailers doing it in 2 hours. 1 detailer same pay, lower hourly rate, detailer with employee same pay, higher hourly rate in haldf the time but has to pay employee. The hourly rate will vary also depending of level of skill required like color sanding and polishing.
You're awesome for your age! Congratulations. One thing I would suggest that greatly helps with people answering your phone calls is to call your cellular provider and ask them to add your business name to your cellphone number through Caller ID. If the person does not have your number saved in contact, then it will still show your business name in the Caller ID.
Could you make a video explaining what each package includes in detail and how to do it? Also, do you use your own water supply or use the customers? Could you also do a breakdown on everything you use? Prices etc?
@@cealre94 it is as simple as transferring water from your homes spigot to your water tank! We have a filter in between the water tank and pressure washer that catches any little debris, if any. What city are you detailing in im in Southern California and I’m trying to figure out what I can charge? I have not started my car wash journey yet. Thanks
We are based in West Palm Beach, FL :)
Great video so you ever notice in Florida heat that the water leaves water spots? Or do you guys dry right after washing?
Yes Eddie, whenever the heat is intense you want to speed up the process when it comes to washing/drying.
Hey, Im looking to start my own mobile detailing business, what products do you use to clean the interior?
I’ll be making an in depth video on this very soon! But you can always use Super Clean APC, very affordable and does a great job!
What are you spray/brushing on the interior (What solution)?
Can't do these in NYC cause parking space there is gold!
My man is so young. Hope he puts his hard earned dollars invested.
Quick question about Zelle: I thought that it wasn’t supposed to be used for business. Have you ever had them freeze your bank account for using it for business purposes?
WebMB, that would be the first time I’ve heard of that! Zelle is completely fine for business use. I have a business account, so maybe you mean using Zelle through a personal account? Hope that helps.
