Wilson deserves so much more love than they currently get, their clubs are fantastic, i play the Staff Model CB’s and they are quality. The new driver looks the business and at less than £400 a really attractive option.
I love the look of those irons you have but my 5 HC index unfortunately isn't worthy of them.
@@73henny lol it doesn't matter your HC trust me i play off 12 now and my mizuno blades were fitted for me over game improvement irons.
Yeah you're not wrong. I used to play mizuno and switched to the staff cb and I love them.

I used to play Wilson Staff blades in my youth and they were top tier oem back in the day. I believe Wilson has more majors than any of the current big boy oems. Great to see them producing at the highest levels again.
Going into my 3rd season with the D7 Forged irons and I couldn’t be happier seeing WS getting the recognition. It’s time the old dogs made a comeback and boy would I love to see it out on tour.

Seen tons of reviews about these drivers and not one person has said a bad word. This could be one of the best sellers of the year in it's "bracket". Well done Wilson and thanks TXG
Had tested this, and at my 100% swing I got 195 ball speed out of the thing. Super stable and quick as hell. The best thing about it is the spin retention, never saw anything kick up over 3k rpms. One of the best bang for your buck drivers out there! Thank you for giving it the recognition it deserves!

I’d like to see Wilson re-emerge as a ‘respected’ golf brand. Their irons have been underrated for a while. The D9 driver was good… fun to see the Dynapower label back! Golf is better with more brands competing for market share! 😎
Marketing is a tricky beast, when you go under the price of the top brands a lot of people will alwats think cheaper is inferior (especially the american market) Wilson stick to thier frugal boomer majority buyers and give them what they want. If you are an open minded golfer who just looks at the numbers there are plenty of bargains out there. If the reemerge as a ‘respected’ golf brand price will go up accordingly, so just enjoy your clubs and keep it quiet.
You all never fail in sending us the best technical info on you testing and unbiased opinions about products. I look forward to every next video. Thank you for all great work you put into you content.

Excellent video! Yes this is as much of a driver underdog as the Tour Edge Exotics C721 was a few years back. Very pleased you gave this a testing, and the commentary on the results were stellar. This is so awesome. I started playing golf before CBs were invented and THE clubs to play were Wilson blades, and I played with them. I was dreadfully inconsistent but always hit one pure strike that made me believe I could hit another and the other 3 hours of pain was worth it. Their woods (I had a 1w, 3w and 4w in the Staff Block series) were the equal of any of the time too. To see Wilson being talked about as a real player in the equipment arena again, and for it to be justifiable, warms my heart. I may well look at replacing my G410 this year and the DynaPower has to be in the mix, along with some Staff CBs to replace my 10yr old TM PSi irons. Happy days ☺
Absolutely love the very technical approach yall take to discuss your very subjective feelings about what you are using and the associated results. It's the perfect blend of objective testing that results in our ability to understand very technical concepts. I have learned so much about my own driver (and other clubs) and the effects of it's adjustable lie and the importance of the proper shaft flex. Great stuff - thanks so much for the content!
I've played Wilson Staff irons and wedges in the past, but always used other hybrids/woods. Finally, I would feel comfortable and confident doing a full Wilson bag with these Dynapower woods. (They make awesome putters as well)

I play the D9 Driver fitted with a HZRDUS Smoke Black 60 Stiff shaft and it's the best driver I've ever hit. Very Interested in this new driver, especially the Carbon.
Willson Golf has made it presents known VERY well this year. So much so, that I personally switched over to their very sexy and amazing performance Staff CB irons. There new drivers are for sure on my list should I replace my current gamer. Great review as always....cheers!

I had the staff RM's irons back in tye day and loved the Wilson history. Love seeing the old school images of the greats with Wilson irons. I would really like to see them re emerge as a class respected brand.
Great to see Wilson finally becoming relevant again. They were the big dogs for a long time and then seemed to vanish. I have a set of 1961 Dynapowered Wilson Staff Fluid Feel Blades. They feel incredible unless I miss the middle… especially the 1 iron on a cold day in Denver.
Good for WS! I've had my W/S D7Forged irons tweaked by TXG Calgary and they now represent the absolute best value in modern player distance irons out there IMHO. I'm a huge fan of premium quality when matched with real value for the consumer and W/S is really starting to come on with this type of philosophy. Good on them.

For me, you guys provide a legit review. Good for Wilson that they have a contender in the driver bracket to match up with their iron heritage. This driver would be carry a much higher price tag if it were made by the big four oems. Great review of a well performing driver 👍
Did not realize until about a month ago that Kevin Kisner joined Wilson and Gary Woodland departed for Cobra. The new driver looks great and seems legit.

Exactly the same with me. My first ever set of irons were wilson fat shafts and been hooked on the brand ever since. Currently have the model CB's and 3 model wedges in the bag. As well as a 9 degree D9 driver, which is great

The new Wilson putters look awesome also. It would take some effort for the hobbyists to come around to the brand (again), but here's hoping it happens.
love coming here for fair and balanced reviews top tier performance with unnoticeably different results for literally hundreds less. this is hands down the best dollar for dollar driver on the market. should win all kinds of awards.

Could you please, I know it is a bit below your high capabilities, review the Titanium model of this offering from Wilson. Played Wilson when I first started golf back in the 70's and loved them. Good to see them back in the game with this model!!
Just watched a re run of the playoff of the open with Harrington and Garcia and Harrington won with the Wilson’s. Haven’t they got the most majors outta all the brands? Txg and Rick shiels reviews are the top dawgs with reviews. Don’t need to see any more now. Thanks guys.
Usually a lefty sleeve is just a re-marked righty sleeve. If you use the opposite sleeve, the loft changes will work opposite of the marks. But the lies work the same as the marks or charts either way. ie Upright on a lefty sleeve is also upright if you put that shaft in a righty head or vice versa.

I've just ordered up this but the the 8 degree head. I hit a hight ball, so hopefully will help me keep it down a bit and gain a bit more distance

Just got a driver fitting today and it came down to callaway and Wilson but at the end of the day my carry was 15 yards more with the Wilson so I had to bring it home.
Was it the carbon one? Or titanium

@@cynt1111 well that's good to hear , as I definitely want the DP driver but I can't try both and I should be going for the Ti but have come across a deal on the carbon tho the carbon is less forgiving ,lower launching and probably need a fast swing. and the Ti is more 'draw' bias which also makes me iffy too,I really dont know
Great to see Wilson step into the game. I would like to see this kind of test with less quality drivers to actually see the difference of a lower quality driver.
Good for wilson. Always had a soft spot for them coming from having gamed their tennis racquets growing up. In today's day and age where everything's mass produced, any difference is probably fairly minimal.

It's amazing seeing Wilson getting the recent exposure it has been, very well deserved have been a solid brand for such a long time. I've been using the C300 Forged for a couple of years now and easily the best irons I've had so far. Looking forward to trying the new Dynapower driver!

Does the lie angle flatten if you go down in loft on the loft sleeve? Or does it play to the same lie angle in all loft settings?

Still remember when Wilson had the driver design competition on Golf Channel. Basically the last time hearing anything about their drivers until now.
hosel adjustment seem kinda normal to me? both titleist and cally is asymetrical aswell?
Stealth 2 at $1000+ cf. $799 for the Wilson carbon here in Australia should make this a popular choice. I'll wait until they are superseded and going for $399. I think folks forget how big Wilson are. I use their tennis racquets and aspired to owning their irons when I was 40 years younger.

Very similar to when the Cobra F9 performed as well as the top dogs at 150e below their price points.

Played some Wilson irons that I’ve loved and I’m sure the new drivers are good but they fall short in Europe due to lack of available custom options.
If enough people start asking to test them, it will change. But it will be a slow burn for them to get back to the top tier where there are plenty of places to get fit. There is no doubting the line up now though. Irons always been good, the new putters are exquisite, the wedges are good too. Add in a good range of drivers, woods and hybrids and they have the full package. More power to them - we need strong underdogs putting pressure on the big 5, or the prices wil just keep going up and up

I feel Wilson should have started their own golf club line with a different name. Yes, I know Wilson clubs date back as far as any other company, but it’s not exclusive with golf. You look at the big 3 companies (Taylormade, Callaway and Titleist) in the industry and all they do is golf. Then you have companies like PXG. I used to play with a set of MacGregor VIP blades and they were as good as they looked. But when I think of Wilson, I think of a Wilson basketball I have, or one of my first baseball gloves. I also feel the same way with MacGregor. I see a football sold at Walmart for $7.99.
Nice to see a company like Wilson succeed again and do so at a more reasonable price. The prices of new drivers from the main manufacturers are not even close to an option for me.
I’m in the market for a new driver but I, not spending $800 Canadian. Id love to see how the Wilson compares to previous ping,Taylor made etc models.

Tried this a few days ago with 130-135 club head speed (Carbon), 1500-1700 rpm spin on some shots at almost full speed - so for sure a LS driver (at least for me)
Try the Titanium or loft up in the Carbon. It will get you where you want to be with spin 🤙
@@harrynodwellwilsongolf 1500-1700 rpm is pretty much optimal for me to maximize distance with 195-200 mph ball speed, so in that matter I'm positively surprised by this driver. It's a low spin monster. But will for sure try the Titanium too and see how it goes =)

Can we see the numbers with the stock shaft? Majority of us wont be tossing a Ventus TR on it haha.
