I wanted one until I saw the price. It is worth maybe half that... $125 tops, with free shipping. You could build your own for maybe $60. I built a 10 button, button box by myself (videos on youtube how to do it) for about $20. I want to make another with a key and the two air buttons at some point.

2 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE BUYING. I actually got myself one of these and the only two complaints are is that it’s really small. Like I’d say the video doesn’t do it justice, I thought it’d be bigger.
2: it’s relatively light. Unless you rest it against a wall or something, if you push a button or flick a switch it will push it around. Otherwise it’s a great buy

I custom made my own box for games... mine can have up to 54 buttons/switches and 16 axis on top of that. made from a reprogrammed Arduino and 3D printed parts. My truck shift knob for my g27 was 3D primted and is tied into the box as well. switches in correct place for range and splitter. everything all in one unit. A HELL of alot cheaper than 250 dollars plus whatever you paid for the skrs shifter..

Love seeing these trucks drive off the line, and then piggybacked to the dealer/customer.That pinnacle is the old model. So the buttons are all usb mapable i presume (just like midi controllers) which means with the right mapping and button cover plates we could use this with pretty much all games that require multiple button options.. use it from Railroad Train drivers sims to Truck sims (obv) as well as flight sims.. that inbuilt mic option makes this box really quite a powerful tool.. so i think this box has a huge untapped hidden potential..

A true blue truck simulator is crazy expensive and after seeing your set up in action I am sold. If possible could you get back with me in regards to what kind of equipment setup you would use for a school. Obviously our students get behind the wheel time and do it for real but there are students that struggle and this would be a perfect way to let them practice while taking away their nervousness. It would be a really great way to let them practice their brake check/test.. Also, is it possible to have something custom made. I would like to do a booth like setup with real air ride seat, shifter to the floor and 46" curved screen...I would appreciate your input, ideas or recommendations. Thanks

When are they going to update it to where you can float the gears on the game? And love your videos Jeff, and run the rpms up on the Mack they like the higher rpms on them.

you can, you have to select advanced in the transmission settings. It's not the best because you can't actually feel if you've successfully shifted or not. I would recommend getting the no grinds mod as well as configuring the transmission settings.

No, you see the heat shields on several trucks depending on how the mirrors are adjusted. KW T-800 and T-880, Freightliner M2 Business class, Mack Granite and CH600. The button box does look cool, but most truck manufactures differ greatly on how they have things like; lights, wipers and other functions. So I think he just went the easy route with some of the push buttons to keep it simple on his end.

He uses IR Track. It consists of a camera that sits on top of the monitor and an IR device that attaches to a head set. Costs around $150 but there are cheaper options. I use TackHat which is like half the price.

Needs a headache rack when hauling steel or for that matter anything on a flat bed without a head board or one hard stop and it would be through the cab and hopefully not you.

I just bought the American Sim. And got myself a Thrustmaster pro wheel with the three pedals package. plus the Thrustmaster TH8A shifter. And for sure I picked up the SparkFunPro Micro gear shift knob to hang with the truckers in this game.
Which would the most go-to buttons on the wheel verses the keyboard? do I also have to turn off the trailer brakes also before I can start rolling? I have a empty truck and starting in first gear in low. I slowly push the gas down and the wheels will not roll and the engine is running.
is there a downloadable set up I can download? and then tweek it after I get it installed? Sorry about this big message. i just thought i could get in my truck and drive out of the box!

Is it available for police use as a police sim for LSPDFR?? Can you find out? I think that would add more to role play for all.
