@@putyodickaway Sounds brought back some memories. For FedEx we drove the KWs and Volvos, think they still do. I was diagnosed with vertigo back in 2012 and lost my CDL.
Now all they really need is some jiggle physics for the cb antennas and heat waves out of the stacks! Scs is really building this to be a phenomenal game for a really fair price though

@@brandonhillgoth699 Yup, no problem! I actually don't use a gaming computer and the game runs decently (around medium settings for me). I think the game should run perfectly on a gaming computer though!

Another great video. When I was at UPS I had friends that did the Feeder routes from Fort Lauderdale to Orlando. That was a sweet route. Thanks for the UPS planes and trucks. Sweet 👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
I wish they could talk to the modders to figure out how they do their sounds, while the default sounds in the game have improved, they are nowhere close to as good as what the modders can produce. I know one thing that's is missing is the sound of the cooling fan kicking in. The engine sound just seems like the engine is running at a lower RPM than what it is running at, same way with the Jake brake.

I think the windows down in lower speed areas and up for highways is good, similar to how most people would probably drive in real life on a day with good weather
I'm blown away by the graphics. I saw the thumbnail and instantly knew it was Newport, OR. Incredible detail!

As a truck driver, I’ll will say, this is about 95% spot on with all the sounds.
For anybody wondering. The beta is an open bata. No password required, right click on American truck sim when in steam. Then click properties, from properties all the way to the right is dlc, next to that are betas. Click on beta then click under where is says select beta you would like to op. Then click public beta 1.37 again no password required. The update is 2.37 gb
I love this new update even with the weigh station. The first time I got pulled in I got somewhere a $200-500 fine for my truck being damaged. Also I can't wait to hear the new sound for the W900, and knowing its my favorite truck, I know I'll be driving the hell out of it. And you'll be amazed once you drive on a dirt road

in the beginning of the video when you was going over the bridge it reminded me of the bridge between madison indiana and KY line we took that way multiple times getting to tennessee lovely trip!

This is 2 awesome. When i 1st bought American pro trucker at walmart this is what i was expecting. Pure trucking awesomeness & graphics & logistics. You can roll down the window and hear the difference in the motor..sounds so wonderful.. I wish it came like that without having to add extra computer equipment & dwnload hella other stuff. I wouldnt mind buying the PoV headset steering and gearshifter tho. I wanna play this so bad.
Jake brake sounds as good as realizing 3 hours after a drunken binge at Taco Bell, with extra fire sauce, you 🦆d up.

Fantastic video Jeff. Since the beta update, you can walk around in your garage, ai vehicles have different horn’s. Scs posted a teaser from a new state and that will be Colorado. I hope that SCS add tornadoes in the future if you drive in the popular tornado states and that you hear a tornado siren. 🌪. A few ago, a collaborator from scs visited a truck dealer from Daimler.

Jeff all i can say is ATS 1.37.. Just pure greatness bro. I've just re-updated my game to the newer version, i installed Cummins m11 engine mod that only for 1.37... pure greatest 😌.. never got that new sound on the t680 tho

Stay healthy with the Corona because my dad was on plane the other day and I thought for sure he was going to get it but now I think he's there for an week or two celebrating my grandma's birthday and I hope he doesn't get trapped from the virus.

Legal weight for a commercial vehicle is 80,000lbs unless you have a over weight permit. I've been a trucker for 22yrs now

For the ultimate immersion experience you could haul a bunch of freight to/from SDF in ats, and then boot up xplane or P3D and continue your journey. Not sure if Louisville is modeled in ATS, but that would be pretty cool!

Could you imagine if you had to unhook and back in all 3 trailers into the dock, load, then hook them all back up again? That would be really realistic! ;)
My assumption is they have a connecting platform and you. Fill from the back

Actually, you have to break the set and dock each one individually. When your entire set is hooked there's not enough room between the rear of the lead pup and the nose of the middle pup, and the same for the tail pup in order to load any freight. Also, I don't believe there's anywhere you would go with an entire set of triples to load. Doubles yes, but not triples. Usually the third trailer would be loaded elsewhere and staged somewhere along the route, and a driver pulling a set of doubles would come along and hook the third trailer. I've gone into plenty of places with a set of doubles, broken the set, docked each trailer individually, then re-hooked the set after loading or unloading.
At least, that's how we do it out here in the Midwest and Eastern United States.
@@jamestoepfer7601 thank you james iv only ever seen couple doubles and they were european ie Hungarian or polish and they had a ramp inside from the rigid wagon to the trailer it was pulling, its nice to get a insite from different areas

On my ETS2 I have an Eddie Stobart truck skin on my Scania R750. On my ATS I have a Caterpillar truck skin on my Kenworth K100E. I never bother with my own trailers because I feel that limits the jobs you can do by too much. I tried having my own trailers a couple of times but ended up selling them lol. Where can I find those roll up windows? DO you have Steam Workshop Jeff?

Hey Jeff what pc do you use to run ATS with all the mods you have
I loved my T680 when I was over the road.
However the engine brake isn't accurate, they have a pretty beefy muffler on these trucks, the engine brake sounds is a different tone compared to the engine, but not much louder.
Turnpike triple pickup? Yeeeah, no. Usually you have to move the trailers to the holding area by the highway and couple your triple trailers there. At least in the East Coast where I ran turnpike doubles (dual 53 foot trailers).
But I'm just being nitpicky on the details, the game can't have everything, right? Lol.
now with the open window take a little fan and you could feel the wind blowing as you pass other things
Talked to a UPS driver going from MI to MD. I asked them about the triples. They said its legal in OH (and some other states). Mentioned they call them "Trains".

I was wondering, you think the window opening stuff will work with mod trucks (from the Steam page)? My guess is no, but hopefully the mod makers can make it work.

Wow, now those sounds are a lot more realistic. Will wait until it comes out of beta. I heard they are fixing AI also? Now they just need to do a FS2020 and make accurate cities. Make the travel between the cities shorter, but imagine driving through an actual sized city.
As someone who works at UPS our feeder trucks don’t have air horns they only have city

Yeah, I have two button boxes, so lots of buttons. I have 4 buttons for windows, I hold up or down for a second and then blip in opposite direction to stop window. It is a little bit fidgety, but I can get it set the way I like it for each driving condition.
