Speaking to a realism of ATS, I am a retired truck driver. 10 years, 1 mil miles. I am really impressed with with the detail and the sound. Hearing those jakes rattle is like the sound of music to me. All you need is a candle that smells like diesel exhaust lol.

The northern part of Texas is highly underrated. Once Oklahoma is done, you'll have to map out the portion of I-40 that is the old Route 66 and drive that across NM, TX and OK. At one point in Oklahoma, there are wind turbines as far as you can see and it's a really cool sight.

I can’t even fathom what it would cost to get setups like this (including the sim itself or computer to run it). It just looks like so much fun though. Whenever I used to play games like “Crazy Taxi” or “Grand Theft Auto” I had no interest in doing anything except driving around and obeying traffic laws/signs. I always wondered why nothing like that existed where you could simply drive around like the real world, and then I found these ATS videos and have been completely blown away. I know I could never afford to get the required equipment surviving on disability, but at very least I can experience it vicariously through those who can.

I’ve found after the 1.46 update every city in the game is very laggy. I’ve been told Texas is the most laggy though. As for the jazzy cat motorcycle pack, it should come with 3 files the main one, the def and another with a 3 letter name at the end. If you put that one above the main file it makes it to where there is a normal amount of bikes on the road. “The other day I had one merge into my trailer and let’s just say he didn’t make it lol”

Nice to see you back in the saddle. Living Texas i can tell you right now. When they say everything is bigger in Texas it is. The bridges especially heading down to Galveston through Houston the bridge from Texas City is massive. San Luis Pass is horrifying though. If they put that in ATS you will not catch me driving it. I also have to say Houston is pretty accurate. Galveston is pretty accurate as well. But Tysons doesn't make fruit juice. They make chicken and the Jimmy Dean's breakfast bowls. One thing known about Tysons alot of the chicken they make goes to McDonald's so it's actually kind of funny that you mentioned McDonald's early in the video. I've never been to the Port in Galveston. Seawall Boulevard should be one of your go to views.

sitting in my 579 in Baytown watching this. been watching you since well before I started trucking and appreciate your approach much more now that I do. TX drivers are absolute maniacs, but at least they get out of the way most of the time.
