@@sh_chef92I wouldn’t call repairing either car “cheap”. GtR’s are not too expensive to maintain if driven at reasonable power levels. Any car with this amount of added power would be more expensive to repair/replace more expensive parts 🤷🏾♂️

Not at all. You’re comparing high rpm vs high torque. To make more horsepower you need to rev higher, not make more torque. The engine will blow up far easier.
@@2seep HP is calculated from torque and rpms, and 95% of the time you tunning car, you will add torque to have more hp because the engine is made for specific revlimit and raising limiter will kill the car. Overall for racing its better to have car with engine that is made as highreving, because you will have less torque for your hp numbers, so less stress on drivetrain, but more important is how durable engine is as whole, like B58 or S58 is closedeck like 2JZ so block can take enormous torque. For dailydriver you want lowrpm engine with lowend power, for racing you want highrpm engine for easier throttle control and predictability.
@@Michael27Romero I didn't know about them! All the built S58's I had seen so far kept the stock displacement. Nice to see more of these builds! Now wondering when someone will build a destroked S58 with maybe 2.6, 2.7L, and revving higher, just like 4N Motorsport did with the N55.
S58 rods will bend over 800wtq if you’re daily driving the car and it’ll see mileage. Rk autowerks did a full write up on it. S58 rods and s63/s68 rods are the same strength. S58 also needs to be sleeved for reliable 950whp+

So true and aditionally better suited for daily driving with luxurious interior and comfort and a lot cheaper to repair.

This is very impressive.
Phenomenal with ‘just’ 1300 hp.
1,300 at the wheels so probably more like 1,500 from the engine
