  • Police released a sonar image of the vehicle on Monday, saying that the car is on its roof at the end of the pier. The brown streaks in the bottom left of the image are remnants of the pier that are in the water. The larger brown mark in the image is the vehicle.

Itsba suicide although a horrible way to go one would think a hand fulls of pills a warm bed tv on and fall asleep and never wake but why the fear of the cold murky waters sharks drowning which take a long time i recently read up to 3 minutes of being aware before passing out? Terrible way than up to 20 minutes to die

Just get some boys from Alabama or Georgia out there in their 4x4 pickups. They'll put a nice long cable on that thing and pull it on out for ya.

It's a harsh truth, but it's maybe a wrap. The best they can do is check the cameras and catch the tag to MAYBE identify the unfortunate person thats in the car. No point in risking additional lives. RIP to the person(s). Such a sad situation.

I haven’t seen any info in what type of vehicle it is at least. If they can see the wheels like that and some details during the dive, I’m sure divers could speculate or guess what the car might be. I get rough waters etc. But those close ups of parts of the vehicle should help.
