- A vigil held at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront Friday night overlooked a growing memorial to remember the man who drove off the fishing pier near 14th Street last Saturday morning.

What a sadden lost, may his family work through the struggles of lost and maybe this gives ppl a better idea of mental health issues, struggles and it's a real thing.

This is so very sad. Sometimes all someone needs is for someone to listen and show some compassion and empathy , a sounding board.
I have cried and cried over this poor beautiful man! I cannot imagine how sad he was!! Especially to choose the way he chose...He had to be hurting so badly, RIP TO A BEAUTIFUL SOUL....YOU HAVE TOUCHED A LOT OF OUR HEARTS SIR!!!!I DON'T EVER CRY OVER SOMEONE THAT I DON'T KNOW...But, I feel as though I do know him because I can empathize with this man...We all through hard times...I have grown to love someone I have never met...Hopefully, You are resting in Heaven...Your sweet sweet soul will never be forgotten....GOD BLESS YOU SIR AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL FAMILY! Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I have mental illness myself as a front line health care worker I know of the resources that are available but it's embarrassing to know your awareness of the help thanks for sharing this video on the Virginia Beach pier crash
I also suffer Mental Health Issues & there's truly Not Help in The United States. Just people judging everything you do. Mental illness & treatment are as out of Date as they were 100 years ago.
