I like how his first instinct was to take a hatchet to the wall rather than move the milling machine.

  • @htownblue11

The fact Alec’s first idea was to chop a notch in the wall versus move the machine proves he is a “get the job done no matter what” type dude.

For large items a counterweight might provide the solution. Heavy springs are quite dangerous to be around if they break or come off.

  • @mbyard356

Maybe try safety garage door springs - the ones with a rod or cable down the center. That way if the springs explode the shrapnel is mostly captive.

  • @elementaldraco

It's going to be interesting when it comes to making the scaled up light bulb for this.

I don't know How you ended the episode on a cliffhanger without making me feel enraged, but you did it, Bravo 👏👏👏

  • @teaddict-

The spring conundrum looks terrifying, could there be a way to make gas struts work perhaps?

  • @CNC-Time-Lapse

lol the video just ENDS. lol Can't wait to see the next one guys. haha

  • @ninjmaster5609

Just for consistency I would like to see the lamp wired with 0 gauge wire

  • @UstedTubo187

Nice! This is the second biggest articulating lamp I've ever seen!

  • @doanemardis4572

I love how your first thought was to "Chop" into the wall rather than rotate the mill. Keep up the great content!

  • @Kholdstare52

The fact he took an axe to the wall before trying to move the tool... 🤣

Loving the videos - Jamie’s doing a great job at producing these!

  • @kaceesavage

Garage door springs might do it. It would be super sketchy though. Kind of goes with the theme.

  • @Zulgeteb

The word 'clamp' tends to be used in engineering while 'cramp' tends to be used in woodworking, although to a large extent, the two terms are interchangeable.

The springs in this thing are going to be fucking terrifying!

  • @SportyPompano

... i love how your first thought was to take an axe to your wall and not to move the machine a little bit...hahahaha

  • @Lee-ot2uk

    Brilliant! 😂

  • @SteRumbelow
