Wow, that sound is amazing! I can only imagine the shudder it would send down my body if i heard it in the flesh. Thanks for the video man, much appreciated
....PS - I know it has been a long time (2 years) since you posted this video - but I hope you are still watching the comments. Could you please tell me - what is the difference between a PB 281 "Iron Nose" and a "Needle Nose"? Many thanks, in advance
look at the front end of these closely and you'll see it right away, the Iron nose has the wide grill and the needle or narrow nose has thinner shape from the front, do some quick searches and you will be able to tell right away
Hey- there's my buddy Jake Wheeler! Super cool old Pete in it's original condition. Love it 👍
My Dad and my uncle worked for Sheldon oil in Suisun CA and probably drove that truck
Do you know the current owner? He would LOVE to talk to you guys , I bet that truck will be in Reno
When is a show in reno?
@@jimgeiger4816 June 8-10! you gotta come

That's the sound of a back drop manifold.
That sound is priceless!!
Would to see her fully restored
Love the butterfly hood 😎✌️
I would leave that truck just like it is. Love that manifold setup. Sounds like a proper truck. Is that an iorn lung? Or just a 250?
It’s only original once right?!? Don’t have the answer on exactly which engine
It's a real sweet rig we know that for sure.
sounds like a 220. 250 has a deeper sound and a 275 iron lung sound also has a whine due to the volumetric charger
If it’s original it’s a nh-200
Had B model Mack with a 220 Cummins the Wouldn’t get out of it own way.
get passed by a kite!
I love the sound of the back drop manifold! I had a 52 pete with a 300 cummins in it. When it was pulling in 2nd direct it made music!
