Richard Osman is one of the best contestants on this show. He's very clever and can almost always think of a plausible and sensible reason for his lies. Like the opposite of Mortimer, who can always think of implausible and ridiculous reasons for truths!
I'm only on the first clip, but Lee Mack, David Mitchell, Rob Brydon, Bob Mortimer, Greg Davies and Richard Osman on the same show is not something we're going to see often. Comedy gold!
RO is a very, very smart man who LOVES TV. Def recommend checking him on Diary of a CEO....interesting how much trauma about people endlessly going on about his height, and also his food addiction he suffered.
Love Richard, which is why I'm happy to say lying is not his strong suit. He starts off referring to Cobold Jo as he before switching it to a girl. David saw right through that squawk. "Dairylee Lumchable Boy" is just from the freaking moon! And those are the worst hand signs for Worm, Pigeon, Shotgun. They need to be simple hand signs, not movements. Game is rife with cheating opportunities with such exaggerated movements coming on.
The banker was listed on IMDB as Glenn Hugill who's also the producer of Deal or No Deal. Interestingly, Richard Osman was not listed as a producer of the show on IMDB.
@@mikeggg5671 You could still be listed as a producer even if you've only been credited for 1 episode of the show. But of course, the list on IMDB could be incomplete.
Lee is body-shaming Richard a lot. As a joke, but I've always felt it is a bit cheap and disrespectful. Saw an interview last year where Richard mentions jokes about his length are not funny to him and even hurtful. So I think we feel that subtle emotion he tries to disguise, even though they might like each other despite this 😊
They were calling Rob Muller Light because he’s small, and because there’s a brand of yoghurt called Muller that has a low fat version called Muller Light. It’s a fun play on words and brand reference.
"You know you're saying this in hearing view of me, don't you?"
He actually came up with a 7 syllable nickname on the spot. Impressive stuff.

Shame he’s not funny though
Richard is great…love him.
I love it when the team captains step in to give the guests more time to think like David at 28:22😂

The parrot noise is genuinely something I started doing after seeing the clip for the first time and damn it does actually help with anxiety
Lie
Same; i do it the day I’m supposed to not lock the door(cleaners).
I swear I heard Richard say "The badger's wife said we should bury it"😮😊😂
I heard that as well 😂 I was wondering why no one commented on it on the show
Lee's "bee jam" joke is why we need to protect him at all costs
I’ve watched the badger, Banker story so many times and always thought it was a lie this whole time until now😂
Wonderful wit and repartee 😂
They give him some really tough lies cos they know he's sharp enough to pull them off.
I have a richard osman problem. Im quite addicted. ❤️

Congratulations Richard on your upcoming movie release!
The "distressed semis" joke was brilliant. Richard is clever, and almost as quick as Lee--if that were possible.
"... Rob sent me the end of his anecdote in five long texts.". Hahahahahahha

He's so good at improvising.

Sharing the toilet ...love it
Ok so apparently there's an episode where Lee is absent and Phill Jupitus is on David's team 🤷
27:23 hmmm, I'd say it's more of good definition of a bad lie!😂
the bird you hear in all tarzan movies is a kookaburra

He was, not currently doing it

Most of Richard's jokes went over Rob's head
I want to know what Richards one syllable nickname cause here in Oz we would call him shorty due to his height
I always feel that Richard and Lee zing each other more than other panelists. Almost seems like they genuinely don’t get on.
Nah I think it’s just light hearted banter

@@saram5659 Yes, remember how in the Cockerell episode Richard had a dig at Lee about his tasteless cock jokes.
Pigeons normally have a tag or chips in their legs to identify them when they land to a certain place.

@@BurnedBookMedia And Trump hates him
Lee is witty and fast and loud and interrupts other people who may be just as witty but not as loud and a bit more civilized. Our loss.
He also gets annoyed when people make Dad jokes , even though 80% of his comedy comes from Dad jokes.
RO is a great liar.
Occasionally Lee Mack is absent and those episodes can be something of a relief.
Not one true, all lies
The badger story was true
Has nothing interesting ever happened to Richard?
I hear he buried a badger once
