I am a lowbudget filmmaker and also broke, so to use anamorphic lenses it's rather a dream than a real thing. BUT i love the look you can get with Anamorphic lenses, so i decided to FAKE IT!
Well, i have to say i love the result. Even nailed the anamorphic flare. Now this is just a sample footage and i will come back with a tutorial so you can FAKE ANAMORHIC look too! Stay tuned and thank you for watching!

Thank you for sharing!! 😄 I agree. But! I messed up because I zoomed in too much. Because If you see the source of the light Maybe it’s not that fake.
And also I didnt Edit the flate there. Actually I used a flare filter on the lens.
But yeah. It would be better If the audience could see the Sun for example.
