Did my mom call me useless and selfish when I said I didn't like the haircut she gave me when she asked if I liked it? Yes. Am I bleaching my hair because that's the one thing she'll never let me do? Yes. When she gets mad at me and asks me why I did it am I going to say "you called me selfish and useless so I decided to be more independent" Also yes.

Ok... I am not a professional but I have done this plenty of times.
I usually don’t believe this kind of stuff but her voice makes is so convincing for some reason. she could make me believe in anything.
When I was 14 I started just squirting a hydrogen peroxide until my hair was wet and then I went outside in the sun and let it dry and it took it up to a really nice natural blonde from light brown.
I lightened my hair from light brown to honey blonde using hydrogen peroxide, however my hair was a little brassy so I use a purple shampoo and now my hair looks gorgeous! I recommend if you had blonde hair when you were little but your hair darkened over time bc you already have blonde undertones
Been doing this for years to help my grey hair blend into my dark hair better. Saves me a ton of time and money at hairdressers to have it highlighted. My hair is now Ash blond with lighter blond highlights. I just pour in the peroxide especially on wet hair and let it dry. I do not rinse it out. Works even better to let it dry in the sun!
Ok to clarify, your hair cannot possibly go blonde after one go (if your hair is dark) also don’t wash it, your hair needs it natural oils so it’s not dried up afterwards.
I used this on my blonde hair, because it was starting to get dark and brassy and it's a light, beautiful ashy tone now!
