Good build. Maybe, have a large round steel plate, 1 inch thick, about 2 feet round. Bolt it to the large pulley, and this will help to keep the hammer going. A rotating weight, as an enforcer..... Beautifull looking Damascus blades, you created there !
Just a thought It probably would work better it the hammer and anvil we larger. What I see is kind of narrow. My 25 lb Little Giant has a larger hammer and anvil. Maybe he has larger ones hidden. Looks like a nice hammer though.
