Sj_bagger…I just finished the build on my 2023 Road Glide Special with the S&S 475 cam and KhromeWerks Outlaw 2-1 exhaust. It sounds sick. Thanks for all of your correspondence and help in getting me in touch with Jared from KhromeWerks and the info on the reducer core. Just posted my very first UA-cam video today on the bike. Check it out…Would love some support!!!!
First and foremost- thanks for making this video. I took the plunge and ordered one. Running the stage 3 119 with the RS468 cam. Decided that after 2 years of running the bullet cat from d&d it was time to try something different and a little less rowdy. Just need to figure out which baffle to run as between you and John from cyclefanatix, you have some great sounding bikes. Stay safe out there
Thanks Tim, appreciate that! I’m confident you’ll be very happy, I know I was. Let me know how it all goes, would love to hear. Stay safe out there as well and thanks again for tuning in!

Hey brother, first of all …what a beast!! Congrats on those upgrades, I’m looking to do the same on mine, I live in south Florida and I want to make sure I am being treat fair $$$. Just for my personal info, how much did you spent on that upgrade (cam, exhaust, air filter, header, tune and labor?) any info you can share helps. Thanks for sharing this video.
This can range and my circumstances were different because I was just swapping cam, did cam chest internals before. Anyway, you can expect to be charged ~7 hrs labor and $800 and up just for cam install labor. Tunes can run $400 and up and if you don’t have hardware, another ~$400. Then you have to factor parts which you can figure out. Really depends what parts you are putting in, but labor and tune over a grand.
Great brother! Thanks for the info , it really helped me. As far as the FXRT , worth it? I’m riding now with a wind splitter windshield. But that FXRT 🔥🔥
@@rafaellandaeta5737 I'd say the coverage with the right windshield is about 80-90% equivalent to that of the Shark Nose. You can also look into AdvanBlack ST fairing for Road King. If you want to be able to detach though, then Wind Splitter your best option.
O Hell Yes !👍😎...Looks and Sounds Great, love what you have done to this bike 👍😎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Yes you Absolutly need the tune up 👍... I can see flames coming out the exhaust when you first cranked it up... unburnt feul hitting the air and ignites...😬😒
I got this same set up with the s&s billet aluminum intake, I got a PV2B tuner, I’m about to buy a fuel map from fuel moto, my question is do I still need to dyno tune it or should that be good?
I mean IMO I would have it Dyno tuned. The FM map should be a short term solution until you can get it on the dyno. Again, just my opinion to ensure the bike is running optimally.
Thank you for the info. I am leaning towards the 475 cam but I can’t decide on a pipe. I’m talking to a rep from Gallop but I don’t know how the pipe sounds, I’m used to running Thunderheaders but I don’t want to wait 9 months for it and everyone has the D&D exhaust. I want to be different and get a good exhaust. I’ve never had KhromeWerkz and I’m unsure of what to get even if I went that route.
What do you want, Stainless, Black or Chrome? 2 into 2 or 2 into 1? That will narrow choices down. 475 combined with pipe matters. What bike do you have and if M8 what ci you have (107, 114, 117)?
Man, that thing sounds sick. Love the burp of that cam. Great combo with the pipes. I’d love some more info on that baffle. I’m going to do this build on my ‘23 120th Anniversary Road Glide Special. I had an ‘18 RGS with a HD Stage 3 build , Zippers 468 cam, Fueling lifters, S&S adj push rods and billet tappet cuff. Had a FuelMoto Jackpot 2-1-2 header with Vance & Hines Torquer 450 slip-ons and tuned using PowerVision. Didn’t get near that kind of thump. Don’t get me wrong, you knew there was something under the hood cuz it had killer torque 139ft lb and 123HP. But that was a full build with bigger jugs, pistons, upgraded valve springs, heavy duty clutch spring etc. She ran liked a raped ape for 90K miles trouble free. Curious to what this cam & pipe combo will do on a stock 114 with some minor upgrades in the cam chest. I don’t knee a shit ton of power but I want torque and that beastly thump! What were your Dyno numbers? Please let me know about the baffle!!!
Thanks man, yeah that Khrome Werks Outlaw 2 into 1 combined with the S&S 475 cam is a great combo. It’s not a baffle but a cut off end I think they are referring to as a DB reducer. I don’t think it’s avail. for purchase. Call Khrome Werks Tech Support and ask for Jared. They should be able to get you squared away. Sounds like that’s going to be a sick build!

I have a 2022 Road Glide Special with a 114. I want a 2 into 1 with a (ghost) pipe. I want that chop that the 475 gives but I want a bad ass exhaust too. I want gloss black exhaust only
Well I have the 107 converted to 119, S&S 475 with Khrome Werks Outlaw 2 into 1. The combo sounds amazing and performs even better. Khrome Werks stands by their product for life in terms of powder. The Bassani pipe is super nice, that is a tough call. What I can tell you though is hands down, the performance and sound from the Khrome Werks Outlaw 2 into 1 combined with the S&S 475, is unmatched. What ci M8 are you running?
