@@tcwall61 The overall performance of a 2 into 1 vs a dual exhaust it pretty significant when it comes to dyno numbers...BUT...they do offer these in dual exhaust too and if you want the numbers and not sacrifice the dual look they offer a ghost pipe for the left side as well.
I spent a shameful amount of time watching sound clips of 2 into 1 and looking at dyno sheets and finally decided the outlaw was the perfect exhaust. Sounds great and really does well with a cam. I ordered the exlipse in December for my rgst and still patiently waiting. Itll be worth the wait and i think ill be very satisfied when warrenty is up and cam goes in.
yeah this guy had to search all over for that pipe with the eclipse finish...he found this set after calling about 20 dealers. You will be happy with it.
I have the Fullsac header with the Khromewerks duals. I love em. I used the performance baffle in mine. It keeps the deep sound. Great video Steve. Now get the cam, and a HPI intake and throttle body. You won’t be disappointed.
Ill have to see what this guy wants to do next...this is a buddy of mines bike...we did the shorty TBR pipe on our ST...I know the intake has to be changed on both bikes...get rid of the plastic one HD thought was a great idea to put in there...they will leak...every time
Khrome Werks look and sound awesome. I prefer the way duals look and I’m not doing a performance bagger so I put the Dominator 2 into 2 system on my 23 Roadglide. I like the way you explain what you are doing, very easy to understand.
hey robert sorry I missed this comment but yeah man they are decent pipes and im the same..if its a single pipe it needs to be a shorty and not out the back otherwise id rather have dual exhaust
A little trick for applying your anti-seize instead of using your finger get your self the smallest toothbrush you can find. It really works well with no mess.
Just finished installing mine. Sounds great. May have to switch to powervision since I’m having issues tuning with my FP3. The install was easy but of course I had to mess something up, stripped the hole where my floorboard screw screw into. Smh
Love my outlaw 2 into 1. Went from d and d billet cat to this. Stage 3 119 with the star 30/30 cam and dyno tune…..couldn’t be happier. It’s a more civilized sound than d and d. I used the reducer in mine as well……great numbers
@sikbaggers their customer service is amazing as well. Asked a question about a muffler rattle and they without asking are sending a new muffler no questions asked.
you'll see lots of two into ones on the baggers built for HP...proven more HP from a 2into1 vs duals...but I agree..I did a solo pipe on mine but we went with the TBR shorty...the one hanging out the back isnt for me but alot of folks love it
Should be going next week or maybe the week after for a star racing 30/30 cam feuling lifters and an aluminum intake manifold. Can't want to see how it runs!
What about a bit of anti-seize on the header pipe were the muffler slides on for ez'r removal? Gotta ask, what make are your saddlebag crash bars? They look pretty cool!
I guess you could add some...I never have but I dont think it will hurt...the bars are from Burly Brand..the Brawler kit..I did a video on them here ua-cam.com/video/Dxcble8T-CM/v-deo.htmlsi=5J_NSXjBmU2RhajF
@sikbaggers going with the Fueling 465. I was running it in my 107 SG, and talk about a fun cam. Quick off the line, true ACCELERATOR,but yet smooth and controlled power through the RPMs. I've got the HP+ KW and the bassani 2x2 (cat delete) header.
Hey Steve, I’ve been watching your channel for a long time I finally started my own channel and I am trying to grow - I swear to give non biased unsponsored opinions on everything Harley Davidson - I have a 2023 1/2 Road glide CVO - i’m gonna do Santoro Fabworks Chacos bolt kit add for the first time ever I am going to attempt to remove the exhaust system myself - the last time I did a bold kit on my other bike, I did all the bolts that I could reach, then I let my mechanic take the exhaust off to get the ones underneath the exhaust by the transmission case and the timing cover He charged me $300 to put in six bolts But in fairness, he had to remove the exhaust and put it back on Thanks to this video. I am going to try myself. Hopefully I don’t end up at the mechanic shop. Anyway, I just subscribe to your channel I have spoken to you on the phone before (Advanblack parts) I hope to be as good as you are one day Making UA-cam videos that is ha ha ha
Hey bro...thats awesome man...i have a lot fun making videos but it is super time consuming. The exhaust isnt bad just watch that gasket...try to pull the header pipe off nice and straight and you'll probably not even need to change the gasket. I appreciate the follow and I'll do the same. If you ever have any questions on anything including youtube stuff just give me a buzz...im still at the same advanblack line.
Anti seize tip: Get yourself a package of Q-tips. Use those instead of that huge ass brush that could double for painting parking lot lines. I would love to put a system like this on my '23 Ultra Limited. The installation would be more challenging since I can't remove the hard lowers. Also I think I'd keep the left slip-on and turn it into a ghost pipe. Just to scratch the itch of my OCD of having even sides.
agred..im not a fan of the long out the back 2 into 1...i have 2 bikes with two into 1 pipes are both are shortys ...id have to have the ghost pipe too..doing headers on a ultra isnt bad..just remove the top and bottom bolts for the lowers and move them out of the way...you dont have to remove them all the way
Hey, thanks for the video. I have a 2020 road glide Limited with the stage one Reinhart head pipes fans and hides slip on. I’ve been considering a two into one exhaust.. I was curious how much heat that could save underneath the motor with that crossover taken off
im not sure it would reduce the heat that much to be honest..its a short pipe and its under the bike where tons of air is hitting it as you ride. The real kicker to 2 into 1 is the additional HP and torque numbers you can gain versus a duel exhaust setup
The two 3/16 allens that hold the crossover bracket to the back of the tranny case is tight to rear tire, use a 1/4” drive 3/16 allen out of a dewalt or similar drill driver set and a 1/4 ratcheting wrench on that, make sure its in and engaging all the way they can strip out. 🤙🏼🤙🏼
STEVE LOOKS OKAY I LIKE TO A FALSIE ON LEFT SIDE FOR BALANCE MY FENDER HAS DUAL CUTOUTS IT LOOKS UNBALANCED ANY CHANCE OF A FILLER PIPE FOR LEFT SIDE?? THANKS ALWAYS GREAT INFO.
Great video Brother, when I was looking for a set of slip ons for my 24, I wanted Tabs because I had them before, don't get me wrong I still enjoy my tabs. The tech / Service manager told me that ChromeWorks, and tabs were the only two companies that have not been hit by EPA Emissions standards, all the others, have Cobra, and all the rest. Said he couldn't sell any of those OLD STYLE like Neighbor HATERS even if he had them, they are being forced to sell only EPA compliant ones, leaving Tabs and ChromeWorks the only ones with great sound. I went with Tabs because they were immediately available and I had a road trip in two days and it would take about a week to get the CWs. I am not disappointed in my Tabs at all, however I believe the CWs have a better throaty sound. Just my opinion. Both are seriously 100% great quality systems.
I know it’s I’m a little late with a question for ya Steve but, What would be your pick for a 2 into 1 header and slip on choice?? Viewers want to know!! lol! Great video as always Steve!!
Hey Steve I have this same pipe they make a reducer that bolts in easy it makes is sound way more throaty that’s what I did with mine sounds way better with it
So I have khrome werks 4.5 slip ons and I love them but, now I’m looking into 2-1 pipes. Need better performance and sound overall. However, I watched your video with the TBR and now this one and now I’m confused 😂 don’t know what I want now. I wish TBR had a chrome option. What do you recommend in terms of performance and sound? I ride a 2023 Road Glide 107. Already have a Trask air cleaner and power vision 4.
Does changing out your exhaust from the manifold all the way back to the muffler, allow the engine to not work as hard to produce the same power? And is this good for your bike?
if you simply open up the headers and slip on and dont add an open air cleaner you wont gain much other than sound.../opening up the full system however, more air in and more air out you will gain Hp and torque...it doesnt really change how the engine works...just gives you a more complete overhaul resulting in more HP and torque gains. Everything is restricted by the oem system
What is a good shock to put on the back of your touring bike riding two up with luggage Fox shocks or Olens? I’m a little bigger guy than usual. 275 285 passenger about 135.
both shocks are going to give you a great ride..the remote reservoirs are only there for colling shock fluid..you really have to dive into the actual performance of the chock itself and ive had great luck with both brands..pick your poison on that one and youll be happy wither way to be honest.
This definitely sounds better than the 2 into 2 Dominator. Here is the Khrome Werks Dominator 2 into 2 exhaust with Louvered Baffle ( On a 2023 RGST 117 w/S&S 475 Cam ) for a sound comparison. The Louvered baffle muffles some of the sound but it noticeably improves low end torque. ua-cam.com/users/shorts-RI8fu80LvI?si=yxqxx6JEWWvCz4pW

Great video! Sounds great, my only reluctance to 2 into 1 is the symmetry of a pipe on each side. You have me rethinking my reluctance!

Yeah! Steve i have a 22 road glide with the big bore 128 with the khrome werks dominater system sounds awesome.
yes sir its sounds great! thanks for checking it out!
Kromewerks are great pipes love the sounds
Its definitely up there with one of my favs...not my fav but up there

I ordered the outlaw for my 2024 a couple of weeks ago hopefully it gets here soon. Thanks for the video I’ll follow this when I do mine.
awesome! ...congrats on the new sled too!
Love mine on my S&S129 with the 550 cam. Making 143hp and 148 ft lbs torque.
Nice! Its a great exhaust for power
your videos are great you explain things with ease awesome job as always
thank you jeff and always glad to help!
that's what i run Steve the outlaw pipe with a 475 Cam..i love Krome Werks i wont use anything but them
nice rayan...its a great pipe
Great video! Love learning how to wrench on my bike from your videos.
Glad to help and thank you for checking it out!
Same sound as my 4.5 " kromewerks duels but not as deep but has that signature decel sound when letting off nice pipe
yeah the 2into1 is a bit more pitchier but still a good sound..thanks for checking it out!
Nice install; nice sounding: just need getting used to seeing a solo pipe on a bagger! 🤷🏼♂️

yes sir they will pair together nicely! Great sounding pipes!
Steve sounds pretty bad ass. Thanks for the video
thank you sir!

Looks better with duels 😎
I agree with that but a performance bagger wont have duels if its built correctly..2 into 1 pipes always make more HP
I have to agree, good sound but I prefer duals regardless of a little performance.
