Also, as a heads up for Parts 3 and on, I'm planning on releasing these every Wednesday until the settlement tour is complete including a "prison riot" battle at the end! If you're wondering why it's taking a week for each episode check out this timeline edit just for Part 1: imgur.com/a/sGTgwNn
Hi Dave big fan. I like your Builds but you do put the entire USA.... I'm trying and failing to say you always usually too dam much of America and politics into your builds. It's like you have actually shoved the entire country into your Build all the time and it gets repetitive very quickly. This has just the right amount of America and politics. witch is why I love this build a lot more. I know I'm just one person but can you at least try to turn it down a bit please and thank you.
Damn, i would love to see Dave collab with a big modder or something to make a General Daves wasteland mod. Where you play as a new character trying to live in General Daves Commonwealth. All of his settlement builds would be featured, General Dave and Joel could be fully voiced characters, and there could be a questline where you try to work your way up the ranks of the minutemen to become General Daves second in command or try to sabotage the minutemen to become Joels top agent of chaos. Maybe even have a split storyline where after you become the right hand man to either Dave or Joel, the brotherhood of steel and institute will return as a joint revenge force. And youre character has to somehow broker cooperation between General Dave's Minutemen and Anarchist Joel's Watchmen.
Please get rid of the weak guitar intro. It sounds like a bum on xanax playing. And joel is just the worst sidekick ever. Just so you know. Otherwise, youre awesome man
@@FanOfEarth Ok, sure you may have a valid point with the intro music as it may not be of your tastes. But what said about Joel? That makes you look like an asshole. Just so you know.
You should start making penal battalions, for the purpose of clearing minefields. Without Mine-detectors. Give them the opportunity to redeem themselves by dying for the god-Emp.. I mean the General.
This could be a decent prison movie especially with how Dave talks about the prison system and the different class and gangs amazing build as always Dave
Here in Part 2 of the tour of my custom Thicket Excavations underground prison settlement we're deep in the depths of the prison itself to tour how prisoners are fighting to stay alive and hold on to positions of power. Rock and mushroom stew anyone?
You could have a General Dave Minute Men version of "One day in the life of Ivan Denisovich" and it would fit perfectly into your canon now. As for the always on light tower? Lightbulbs fail, most often, when being switched on or off, so keeping them on saves resources. It's a lot easier to find the power, than to find working lightbulbs from pre-war. And finally: Where is the cult of Norman? Worshippers of the lost dark art!
Hey you know what would be cool? Making the big forge with all the fire sword people into a base too. It could be the site where you are building your own version of the brotherhood zeppelin or some other super weapon, and could have Institute scientists and Brotherhood engineers consulting on the project in an Operation Paperclip-esque style. It could also work with the car factory but that one is quite a ways away from the crashed airship, plus it is a little bit too central to some of the more populated areas in the settlement. Either way these are always super fun videos!
General Dave sir I have just found out that this mod called The Train which after you complete the short play through it lets you build on the train (it is a moving train to ) I think it will fit with the lore you have established sir
The amount of time and care you put into these builds man... It's crazy. It's actually made me a better builder, though my poor Xbone can barely take it anymore
This part of the prison reminds me a lot of Dark Souls. Like take out all of the fallout tech, and it wouldn't look out of place in a From Software game. Maybe its because of the verticality and interconnected-ness of the area.
Hey Dave, commented on your last tour video about how good it was! Also Wanted to say that somehow this one was even better! Please consider making Boston airport into a minuteman research base on the brotherhood. The prydwin can be a scrap yard and the brotherhood were researching experimental plants! Keep up the good work!
i would've taken the inmates weapons and given them the Disciple Blades and meat hooks to use as prison shanks and made them wear the raider rags or find a mod for prison jumpsuits. you also need a Minuteman SWAT team here, give them security batons and shotguns and have them wear either Vault Tec or Diamond City security armor
Jesus...this is amazing!!! Side note: I get this follows your own playthrough story and your roleplaying, but I would love to see your take on some Brotherhood settlements and such. You've got a lot of talent for this!
He did do a brotherhood settlement, vault 88, but he himself destroyed that settlement in his video on it, aside from that though, not much, and there's no current information on vault 88 now.
I've honestly been waiting for this tour like a kid for Christmas. I may be turning 36 next week, but I'm honestly just a big child. 😂 Thank you so much for these awesome, awesome builds.
Awesome work. Been loving your builds so much. ^.^ Gave me ideas for my own when I started using Conquest to place settlements. ^.^ If you are looking for other handy locations perhaps the Listening post Bravo might be one. Could be fun building around that helipad.
This is the good stuff, quality content to watch with a drink and snacks also these videos are addicting they are the jet to a Chem user keep up the great work and keep giving me the GOOD stuff!
Really love these bids, cannot wait for part 3. Also please have a vid of you and Joel playing Fallout 76 when you get a chance. That would be a tonne of fun to see .
Any chance we could see Diamond City rebuilt under the watchful eye of the Minutemen and General Dave? That'd be wickedly cool and would fit in with General Dave lore, since *spoilery stuff happened* as part of the main questline.
You think you're tough because they sent you to prison for stabbing a lunatic socialist Varg? You were in a Norwegian prison, the friendliest type of prison on Earth. I saw your documentary and what your cell looks like on the inside. It looked like an upper class retirement home room. A big one too. (Dunkelheit is a killer track by the way, thanks for making it)
This is Joel. "Thanks Hayden! I can't wait to let people know when it is available to watch in theaters or on demand on iTunes, DVD or bluray. I am working on entering the film into film festivals right now for the 2019 year. So hopefully things go well!
Fun fact: Rivet City is actually destroyed at this point in the timeline. You can read about how the brotherhood got the generator for their airship from an old prewar aircraft carrier. The only one in D.C. being Rivet City.
That seems weird because University Point wasn't actually in the academic category. All previous signs of it point to it instead being related to banking and economics. Besides, the place is half consumed by water and is a frequent visit by leftover Institute soldiers. It just seems too risky to build there.
Just as a fyi thing, grey water is any used water that HAS NOT come in contact with food matter or waste. Bath water, BATHROOM sink water, washing machines, gutter run off and that kind of thing. Its *technically* safe to drink (for post nuclear apocalypse standards) but in present times its still locally treatable and then useable. Black water is anything that has potentially come in contact with food and waste, it requires a industrial treatment facility to be useable again.
But I can blame the concrete wall mod's poor collision modeling for that one! Also, report to Thicket Excavations for processing, you anti-immersion insurgent.
awesome build Rangerdave really enjoy your videos and love your mods you put out, also i was inspired by you to make lore for my survivor too though she took a diffrent path as she is a sentinal of the brotherhood
Wondering if thse are gona continue after fallout 76 comes out. i expect them to slow down a bit and i know ur working on a few at the moment but how many is gona come out in the future?
Thicket Is A Amazing Place To Build. I Made Diamond City 2.0 Using a Ground Up Method. I Started At The Bottom And Spread Out. I Had To Use A No Limits Mod
I’ve always had a question about these impressive builds: how do the npc’s map and traverse the settlements? Is that even possible with some of these builds? Or are they placed specifically where you want them to be, and remain static?
i have an idea to make the norman film even more cannon by using the starting news broadcast tv, replacing with black and white norman footage and putting it onto the tvs like you did with the survival tips.
When the world turns to shit and is in an apocalyptic warfare state someone remind not to get on the wrong side of Dave and end up in one of his prisons
Her Dave has the new gameplay changed your thoughts of Fallout 76 or make you want to get the game more? Also I do really want to see a fanatical cult of Dave in like a ‘scavenger’ settlement or a actual minuteman settlement.
You know prisons like this actually used to exist. Even in the United States. I can actually see something like this where the guards won’t even TRY to enter where the prisoners basically run everything on the inside.
I hate and love you guys. I was leaning back in a chair drinking a 2-liter soda when you said run away little orphan and now I'm dying.

Id like to see a Diamond city Recruitment center and containment area for the Minutemen.
That would be perfect for home plate
Mate at this rate dave should remake diamond city itself under the minutemen, with the cration kit and all
The most propagandistic build possible, imagine it.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. -John 3:16
You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart. -Jeremiah 29:13

I've been cheching this channel everyday and finally there it is.
I think General Dave might be a Communist.
RangerDave are you going to Keep doing these builds after fallout 76 comes out?
You have some left to Do......
Maybe build a airforce base!
You should make a rebel HQ somewhere, and at the end of the tour have the Minutemen show up and kill everyone.
You should get a mod that turns Diamond City into a settlement and make a true Great Green Jewel.
You could have a General Dave Minute Men version of "One day in the life of Ivan Denisovich" and it would fit perfectly into your canon now. As for the always on light tower? Thank you man for your videos and the work you put into them .
I feel personally offended by this prison.
shut up preston no one likes you
YOURE A FRAUD NOT THE REAL PRESTON
Preston Garvey I imagine that you got imprisoned by Dave pretty early on for your insubordination.
shut up Preston you are not incharge anymore

The mini hearth attack when Dave hinted that there will be another settlement toura. Keep up the good work
33:00 The general doesn't make mistakes, he calculates design inclusions that make him appear more relatable to his citizens.
I knew you'd buy that mod. It has general Dave all over it
I love how you incorporate the lore so well into every settlement
General Dave sir I have just found out that this mod called The Train which after you complete the short play through it lets you build on the train (it is a moving train to ) I think it will fit with the lore you have established sir
Damn I would love a game where you start off in a place like this, then work your way up to the minutemen rangers.
I like to imagine there was once someone or some people who was chucked into here that was to smart for the minutemens own good who escaped
The amount of time and care you put into these builds man... It's crazy. It's actually made me a better builder, though my poor Xbone can barely take it anymore
You and robbaz should do a collab
EDIT: I would absolutely LOVE to see the minutemen in a combat/invasion senario
Yes
This part of the prison reminds me a lot of Dark Souls.
Like take out all of the fallout tech, and it wouldn't look out of place in a From Software game.

you+fallout 76+ a couple other great settlement builders on youtube= my satisfaction I guess
but it would be really cool

Still not getting my notifications, still reporting for duty.
35:20 that cinder block
Its like hell, the farther you go down the colder it is
You should do a cultist build at the Dunwich Borers.
16:57-18:11 that music is just to creepy for my taste. Also you should make a spoopy video for Halloween.
Another outstanding build Dave. 👍🏻
Their should be a Grand Minutemen Airforce
Well done comrade! We Will take the commonwealth one Gulag, i mean settlements at a time
Sucks that the camera mod is unbelievably broken, because that's something creation club released that's somewhat cool.
I love your vids so much! Your vault 88 inspired me to make a city instead of an actual vault. All love, Nic
This looks awesome! But have you ever thought of giving the prisoners prison uniforms? The mechanic jumpsuits might come in handy, maybe.
Never downloaded this many mods, cant wait to make some stuff
Riding the Loot Chute at Thicket sounds amazing if you don't know what either of those things are.
Thicket Is A Amazing Place To Build. I Made Diamond City 2.0 Using a Ground Up Method. I Started At The Bottom And Spread Out. I Had To Use A No Limits Mod
Why didn't you get to go to the fallout 76 event? They have to have the ultimate settlement builder there.
Let Bethesda know that General Dave is standing by!
I agree they definitely should have invited Dave!!!.
I want to see a series about you trying to escape this place.
For some reason I wasn't notified this was out? thanks UA-cam.
The intro looks like a dlc trailer
Really epic wish I had your talent and Knowledge for the realistic settlements I've built.

This was so cool .
i feel like if my fallout 4 character was here he'd be the guy with the cat poster in the sewer pipe
How do you deal with the raiders who are supposed to spawn at Thicket Excavations?
Welcome to Arstotz- commonwealth...yeah
I wanna see Dave take Miami
YESS!!!
Do you think you will ever consider sharing your settlements with the settlement transfer mod on the nexus?
I'm surprised Dave hasn't straight up annexed Diamond city yet.
What mod did u use to build the settlement there or is there a workbench over there
Watchmen are Dave's SS troops
Holy shit your righy
You know I’m sorta expecting a Civil War to start with the other side being led by Preston
Part two finally 😊😊😊
That guy in his underwear? His master plan was to distract the General so he wouldn't pay attention to the pistol he was carrying.

Just saying if you do this kinda series in 76 it cold be things like ranger outposts or watch towers turned into raider watch towers etc.
I have a question? Where at Thicket excavations is the workbench, or is it a mod?
Mod. I'm pretty sure he said it in the first episode
is the "cut off their limbs" an asset from deadspace?
