The sad part is that a dirty low life Criminal investment firm run by the lowlife pos Elliot Singer stole Carhartt and moved the company to China. He literally destroyed an Entire small American town economy. Every one was fired and left with nothing.
Actually, Nike just bought the brand and they’re making them with a lunar soul which makes them a lot more comfortable. So they’re basically Nikes now.
Aahh, the "poor parents shoes" some of us HAD to wear every day, regardless of the rock hard paper thin soles.... decades later: rheumatoid arthritis, lower back disc damage and worn out knees. But at least we played outside until dark (so not to wear out the linoleum or family sofa too much indoors)
I remember being called out for wearing "highwaters" in the 90s if my jeans didn't touch my shoes. It was a problem for a growing kid. I still make sure to sit down in the fitting room to make sure my pants don't ride up too much. Things change, man!
I still wear my pants on my hips rather than my waist. Wearing them lower was the only way I could get my pants to be long enough. I also got JC Penny jeans because I grew so fast that my parents weren't going to buy me expensive jeans when I'd only have them a few months.
This was a surprise. Clip started slow, waiting to find his voice... Then he did. Sounded like he enjoys Nate Bargatze & Chris Farley. He had some fresh takes on jokes though - would definitely watch a full show.
I remember when Champion was the lowest of the sportswear brands. No one admitted to wearing Champion. Now it's in the high end stores like it's comparable to quality brands, lol.
@@jeremybertram5575 Champion is not a low end spark plug. They design them to work with certain engines like Harley Davidson. If you run NGK in a HD it won't perform right. Just like Champions don't work as well as NGK does in japanese motorcycles.

I live in Australia, and I remember even 8 years ago, Champion shoes were $25 at Payless shoes. I was in my early teens and those were my favorite shoes. I then realised it wasn't cool to wear them, so I got way more expensive adidas shoes. A year later, all of a sudden Champion became the choice clothing of many 'eshays' (an Aussie term for teens with mullets, expensive clothes and Nike TN's). It was the weirdest thing
I've seen news men wearing dress capri's, showing off some colorful socks. Bill Burr made a hilarious comment about male capri's. Another guy was wearing Carhartt khaki mustard brown capri's. 1990 was the start year when you had to have a Champion sweartshirt, especially with your fraternity or sorority letters on it. I'm not sure what year they went out, but I stopped wearing them around 1994.
Carhartt is no longer USA made but overseas and it is junk compared to what it used to be. Same thing for the Alaskan boots (name escapes me ATM), the good ol staples have been RUINED by them no longer being made in the USA. It’s horrible.
Thus guy is funny. Just like you had to go to only JC Penny to buy OPs when I was a kid(GENX) and my Mom refused to buy them because they cost to much and I bought my first pair of NEON green short and neon green surfer OP shirt when I was 14 with my first paycheck and it cost me a little over $80.00 and that was in 1986!!!! High waters? They are called clam diggers, as in the pants you wear when you dig clams.
