I like that you included mistakes in this one. Most build videos on UA-cam are so polished, it's sometimes discouraging to get back to the shop and trip over myself and make my own mistakes. Nice to see that the pros do it too.
When you make two boxes the same size (or a box and lid) make them as one piece then cut them apart using a table saw. Takes less time and they come out exactly the same.
Instead of adding 2 powersupplies at different voltages like you have now, you could also have opted to go with only the 24V one for the higher voltage components and add a stepdown converter to have 12V output from that same 24V supply :)
Pssst .. look for the Ryobi Nail Gun (accu-powered). Not a common brand in NL, but there are some stores selling them. AFAIK a good product, and no compressor needed.
Emiel that’s brilliant. Silly question but if you add red food colouring to the water does it make a red mist and tornado? I love this one you smashed it 👌🏻
Yeah, I'm looking into that but it's often low for the work table, then if I want to show something quickly it is still low.. It would take away from the spontaneity.
Would you be able to do another one of these? Only the one I have in mind is different. And requires a different set of components. It would help prove a theory of mine. Using a long clear plastic tube/column three sections or levels created using some circular cutouts to section off levels. |___°___| level 1 |............| level 2 |.....^.....| level 2

Oh yeah, we all make mistakes. Some just learned to hide them better. I also believe that it's crucial to leave the mistakes in.
Nice project for the entryway into the house. Can you imagine the reaction from visitors?
Ohh that'd be so cool!
And thats how you win a science project.
Absolutely love your commentary on all your videos! Always amusing seeing your content!
Thanks! that's great to hear!
This is awesome!! Great work!! And also looked like plan sailing for the entire build 😃
Thank you! The project was a bit of a ride,. but in the end it all came together
Awesome job Emiel! 😃👌🏻🌪️👍🏻👊🏻
Thanks Fred!
You are a genius. Keep up the good work kind Sir.
Thanks! I will!
Weer een gaaf project gemaak Emiel👌
Thanks Tim!
Nice video. Cool project. Great job engineering. Mahalo for sharing. : )
No home should be without its own miniature tornado.
Exactly!

Thanks for the tip! that is a great trick indeed! I do not own a table saw but I think this could have been done with the tracksaw as well.
Nice project. Not worried about showing mistakes too. It would be cool if you could share a compilation of bloopers?
Thanks! This project almost became a compilation of bloopers 😂 But not all mistakes showed any value so I left a couple out
Awesome!!
Thanks Marcio!

That would have been a nicer option indeed. I used this because I had these lying around
Can you please have a list of requirements that’s so cool and I want to make it
That's cool
Thanks John!
Next vídeo: making a sharknado machine
Have you ever tried to buy sharks online? nobody delivers them anymore
@@Thepracticalengineercan buy gold fish and feed them

Thanks for the tip! I am looking at my options at the moment.
Woooooooow
Superbe projet .
Thanks!

Thanks Dave! I don't know actually. But its worth a try for sure!
The Practical Engineer I think that sounds like an update video my friend. 👍🏻
Dave.G.Designs unfortunately, no i don’t think it works.
Dikke like, heel leuk weer!
Thanks Daan!
Nailed it! (sorry)
whahaha!
Hi. Just want to make one for my kids. Can you pls send me the materials you used? Thanks
"And for a machine like this you don't want the little buttons you want the big buttons"
I like big buttons and I cannot lie
Hey man, nice project! A question tho, have you tried to put you camera a little higher so you don't damage your back while shooting the videos?
Yeah, I'm looking into that but it's often low for the work table, then if I want to show something quickly it is still low.. It would take away from the spontaneity.
Hey buddy how did u get the PVC pipes to fit perfectly in the foundation and base
I used a hole saw that has the same diameter as the tube. Then I needed to sand it a bit for the perfect fit
@@Thepracticalengineer did the tubes fit all the way down into the box or like halfway
Only a couple of centimeters was enough
@@Thepracticalengineer Hey buddy the bottom peices that you had to glue back on after you painted what are those exactly for?
make a orbital robotic eletric fan whit water mist using a photocopy motor
This project partially sucks on the other half it blows my mind 😉👍
most of it blows 😂

I need one, but this Will be higher
Like 3 or 4 km
Put it in an airplane
With those guns your going to need more psi from you air compressor
That's a nail gun not a staple gun lol
