Ive tried so many different wireless headphones over the last few years. And with more and and more phone companies getting rid of the headphone jack... wireless is going to be the way of the future. In this video we tear down some of Ankers brand new SoundCore bluetooth earbuds to see if their claim of 'Most sweatproof headphones' is valid.

If someone is still looking into these headphones, I can highly suggest them. I had Spirit X since they started to sell them. Unfortunately last week I lost them. Loved sound quality, quite decent bass and battery life. If used heavily, you need to charge them probably once a week or two. Silicon ear hooks are super soft and you cannot notice them. I also have used them in heavy rain with no issues.
Just placed an order for regular Spirits just to compare. Very, very good product for the price.

@@haidarshreif721 Spirit X definitely has more bass and despite bigger battery feels more comfortable and natural on my ears. Actually purchased another pair of Spirit X. :D Regular Spirits are also good, but I don't enjoy them as much as Spirit X.

Good value for money it seems... I'm seeing many bluetooth headphone on eBay and chinese websites that have a similar style, but they probably are not sweat resistant.
I've been personally using for... I think 5 different models up to now the Sony NWZ series. The last two models are bluetooth (previously they were standalone mp3 players), and IP68 - water resistant to immersion up to 1m. I went swimming with it, no problems. I mean, it's weird to swim with them anyways - sound gets muffled and all, but it works.
Then again, it's a 200 bucks mp3 player/bluetooth headset, and it has the pressure bands that goes around the back of the neck which some people don't like, but for me personally it's the only thing that really stays in place while I'm running. I've tried phones with the over the ear things, and that flap thing that gets lodged, among several other solutions... either sweat or movement will always move the earpiece and require adjustments while running. It's like, they don't completely fall off, but they get loose.
Oh, the latest model also has an isolation bypass mode for those worried about not being able to listen to ambient sounds. It works relatively well. You can pause music and have a conversation without having to take the earpiece out, and you can listen to loud sounds over the music without worries.
I'll always recommend it for people who tried everything and couldn't find something that stays put in ear... but it's just cheaper if you can find something else. These days you can find some pretty good stuff without paying a whole lot of money. I just buy the Sonys because I know it works for me, and I already lost too much money on other phones that ended up not working for me.

These look decent, but I'm still very happy with my Skullcandy Ink'd wireless earphones. 2 years of sweating at the gym, walking in the rain etc, and they still have a great battery life and decent sound quality for the price range.

Looks like a normal conformal coating. It's a thin layer of plastic. A common one is acrylic. It's sprayed on, the solvent evaporates and leaves the layer of plastic.

I only listen to instrumentals when exercising. Since I follow high mobility exercises I listen to RAMsterdam by AvB, Gestuga Tenshou by Biotones, Melt by Alex Morelli and almost everything by Rodg and Firas Tarhini. I cant listen to yelling while working out

The coating is electronic conformal coating you can purchase the same stuff for hobby use if you want. I use mg-chemicals acrylic conformal coating it's good for extreme heat and cold and completely waterproofs electronics.
The headphone I use is the Aukey EP-B40 it almost has the same features as Anker ones
If you're into hard rock/metal, I highly suggest giving Alter Bridge a listen. Check out Cry of Achilles, or Blackbird by them, amazing songs.

I have Powerbeats 3 and i have them for like 10 moths and they still work like new. No problems at all and i use them at the gym or when i*m running.
Apples approach would simply be no headphones at all. Why do you need them at all? Kinda like with the headphone jack. If you have a problem sealing something water/sweat proof - just remove it. Apple style c:

BT earphones which controls and charging port dangling on the cord on one side of the unit doesn't last long when you're an audiophile. Your body movements swings it on different directions thus stressing it out giving weight to which side its dangling on causing that sides piece to have corroding performance.
Got my free spirit x . I do own two pairs of anker tags which r great but battery life is less than previous versions. Spirit x are great for workout the hooks are soft rubbery. They hold good over ears. These are hard to come out of your ears. Need to do range and battery life test.

Taotronics wirless headphones have seriously impressed me. For the money they're some of the most durable in my experience. About 25 to 30$ depending the pair. Put my pair through the washer and dryer TWICE now by accident and they still work just fine. I can swear by them.
I'm a huge fan of anything Anker makes. Anytime I go to buy a new electronic accessory they are the first name I check. They have such great prices for amazing build quality, I feel like you can't go wrong. I have a pair similar to the in ear ones you showed and they have been great for me for running. If I get a discount code I'll probably try the pair with the over the ear plastics and see how they work for me.
Anker Soundcore Spirit are very good hadphones. I use them with Huawei mate 10 pro and they sound great. I also have a pair of earbuds on the wire that support high rez audio, it's about huawei cmq3 headphones, and compared to these Anker headphones don't sound any worse.
I highly recommend them!

New Music: Beautiful Eulogy. Christian rap group with out-of-this production and lyrical talent. Chris Stapleton is real big now, but he used to front a bluegrass band called The Steeldrivers. They are still great without him, but most of their hits (and my personal favorites) have Chris on vocals. He also made an album with a band called The Jompsom Brothers as well. Sort of a contry/rock feel with a little blues thrown in. Like if Lynyrd Skynyrd and Stevie Ray Vaughn had a baby together and that baby made music. I have recently gotten into listening to The Band of Heathens. They're all over the place with style from what I can tell. Love what you're doing here! Keep 'em coming!
