If the interior of your wok was left rough from the casting process you can always sand it smooth yourself with a cheap electric orbital sander and then reseason it. I hated my Lodge cast iron pan until I sanded it smooth many years ago and noticed a drastic improvement right off the bat.

You should rub oil all over the wok inside and outside

I have smooth and rough cast iron pans and well seasoned. They all work well with all oils and fats I use. Why is that? Because cast iron pans need another cooking method. First let your pan get hot until it smokes. Then put in the fat or oil. Then put in your meat or vegatables. It will never stick. In a well seasoned cast Iron pan you can use tomatoes or lemons, no problem. After it wash it and reseason it. We learned at school that you must season your pans with a temperature behind smoking point and for me that does the trick. Never had any problems with new or old cast iron pans. Resumee. Get your pan hot!

Try sprinkling a little water around the edges of the egg before you flip it, it will release the edges,

That is my Danish/English accent for saying "puck in a hockey hall". My everyday English is not the best for sure but hopefully I will get better over time. I do understand a couple of languages but not great at speaking all of them (Danish, English, Norwegian, Swedish, German and Spanish).

You gotta check the pronunciation of "vinegar", my man...
That's a hard "g", like when you say "great" or "good."
And it's not "iron cast" but "cast iron."

Maybe that’s how it’s said in his country, after all,it IS the “World Wide Web” !🤨

@@lauramitchell6725 You didn't notice that he was speaking English? No English speaker in the world pronounces "vinegar" with that kind of "g". Being on YT doesn't mean that a mistake becomes correct just by virtue of being on YT.
