Gotta give Billy some props here, he’s still going strong now playing live shows for over 50 plus years now , along with drummer Frank Beard , Elwood seems to fit right in since Dusty’s demise . Keeping the “ Dream goin “😎👍. Saw them play live more than a few times back in my youth , mostly ‘80’s and 90’s shows & always got a kick outta them & whatever they brought to stage with their shows. Stay cool y’all 😉
You apparently weren’t old enough when they did the “ World -wide “ tour with all the circus attendees & animals back in their glory days before MTV made them huge . Should check it out sometime if possible. The mini documentary that came out right before Covid hit big time probably has some of the best footage .

Never the most active of bands so as long as he can stand up, play and sing, ZZ Top will keep going forever
