- I am LOVING my NuFace Mini Micro Current Facial Toner for my over 60 skin...today I share my 3 month follow up with a full tutorial and discuss Conductivity Gel Alternatives. Consistent use of the NuFace Mini has many anti-aging benefits...stimulates ATP, lifts, tones, stimulates collagen, elastin, circulation and lymphatic drainage, improves product penetration... It's a great way to wake up the face in the morning! The NuFace Mini is the same strength as the more NuFace Trinity but at a MUCH more affordable price. To increase conductivity, you can add a pinch of table salt to your gel. I actually use aloe vera or ultrasound gel, which I prefer, and spritz with liquid ionic trace minerals. I use ConcenTrace Trace Mineral Drops. 8 FL OZ. Bottle. The gel has to have ions to move into your muscle layer. NuFace gels are formulated with balanced ions for this reason. Lab Muffin has a great video on how micro current works.

I’ve been wondering how close I can get to my eye and noticed under Warnings in the very small print that’s in the User Manual it says, “Do not use in the eye area (circular muscle within the orbital rim) …”

Hi Tamara! This device looks similar to my Silk'n Titan device I use. It has a similar concept and I love it. The Nuface is unique that you can use it by your eyelids, I don't think I would want to try that with the Titan. Thanks for sharing, have a great week!

Skincare and even devices are definitely more efficient if you use them continuously. It’s a shame that you basically have to use it forever for the results to stay. Hello 😁!! Makes me grin big seeing you show up every Sunday 💕!! So I’ve used the nuface mini and myo lift mini, both consistently, 3 months for the former, at least 6-9 months the latter, looooved the results. Then started reducing use ... and then eventually just stopped, and stopped caring about the added bouncy lift or whatever it was I liked seeing. Now I’m happily just doing skincare device free but $1K poorer lol. But I think it’s great and definitely effective. See you next time 🥰🌷💕!!!

the aloe vera works well I am 80 years old and it helps to lift my muscles must do it 5 times a week at my age.

Hello lovely! Oh I love the bloopers! 🤣 You are just aging in reverse! You look absolutely beautiful!! I have the Nuface mini as well and our routines are almost identical! I actually start with the NEWA radio frequency device first and then follow it with Nuface. The only thing I do want is an LED lamp (still working on that) great idea applying the gel with a brush! I don’t like the sticky mess that it makes with my fingers! I just ran out of the Nuface gel so I need to find some aloe gel. Thank you so much for sharing your routine! Nice demo. A professional microcurrent session costs about $120 so having this portable device to give yourself a nice treatment at home is so convenient. Also this tool is exercising those facial muscles and upkeep is needed. It is like going to a gym and exercising and your muscles become lifted and taut but if you stop, then the muscles lose that progress. Same with your facial muscles. So excited to start my at home program today!

I love my NuFace mini. It’s so easy to use and you can orient the device however you want. I like using it the morning too. I addition, after rinsing my face, I like to do quick lymphatic drainage using a facial dry brush (not a cleansing brush). A jade roller works, too, and the conductive gel gives enough slip. I’ve found it to be incredibly effective, especially my neck and eyebrow area. It’s never too late to do before/after photos because the results show it really works. You look beautiful as always!

Hi Lovely Tamara, I'm a Nuface morning user as well and you are so right as consistency is the key to better results. My results are subtle, but will take it! I use the Nuface gel and have purchased an ultrasound one from Amazon, which is very affordable. I also apply the gel with a brush as they are sticky and messy. I’ve been using the mini for several weeks and have settled into a routine much like yours. Nice reinforcement from you to see that I’m doing it right. I’ll think I can absolutely see results - then go outside or in the car and get a major letdown from that truthful sun. However, I just keep on trying. I’m dealing with 71 y/o wrinkles and major weight loss. Whew! That’s a tall order!!!

Hi Tamara, thank you for the demonstration and knowledge you share! It is always better to hear from people who use and have an experience with the product rather than to hear what the brand claims. I wanted to ask you about your experience with the REVITALASH. I heard some dermatologist here on UA-cam say that it can cause darkening of the eyelid skin, darkening of the eye color and even displacement of the fat in the eyelids, and also it can cause worsening of eyesight. So.... I want to improve the length of my lashes but at the same time I am afraid to start due to above mentioned claims. What are your thoughts on that? Thank you so much!!! ❤️
Thank you Zarina! I remember the prescription Latisse had those warnings, but a Derm prescribed it saying those side effects were quite unusual. And with the OTC Serums, I would think the side effects would be even more rare? I have used Revitalash for at least 3 years with no negative effect, and I’m hooked. Having said that, it’s important to do your own research and find something you are comfortable with...there are SO many serums available, and some say black castor oil works and is totally natural. Might be worth a try?

Oh wow so you can use the Mini's probes on your eye area as well? Do you know if the probes are of the same size as those on the Trinity? Wonder why they come up with the eye attachment if the Mini can be used around the eyes.

The one thing that keeps me from using my NuFace often enough has been finding a conductivity gel I like and feel comfortable not rinsing off. I really appreciate you thoughts!
Hi Becky! I don’t love the gel either, at least not as a leave on topical. I do my NuFace before my am skincare so I always wash the gel off anyway. ❤️
I use it with the Hada Labo hyaloronic gel. Works perfectly - and much cheaper….

Tamara, Really enjoyed your demo. Been using the mini Nuface for about 10 months now and have really stuck with it. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing much of a result and am a bit disappointed, but I continue to use it because I feel like I'm doing something good for my skin. I am particularly concentrating on my jawline also, and sometimes I think it looks better but it may be wishful thinking:-)

However, I have heard people say they notice the results more when they STOP Using the NuFace and see a noticeable sagging ...check out Beths video on why stopping the NuFace fir a month inspired her to go back to it and keep using it. @@TamarasTimelessBeauty Yes, I know Tamara. That is what I fear and why I keep using it. It makes me wonder, though, if the Nuface isn't perhaps doing a bit of damage, and that is why the skin starts to sag after stopping it. Worries me a bit because if it really isn't showing much of any improvement while usiing it, why would the skin sag after stopping it. Maybe it's just holding everything at bay:-)
I noticed when use it it more than twice a week it makes my marionette worse but it works great in lifting my eyebrows

I did hear about it...looks interesting and surprisingly the same price as the NuFace...so many tools...only one face, and a smallish wallet! LOL.

Hi Tamara! I also have the nuface mini and I like it, but I struggle with being consistent. I find that my beauty daily routine needs to be very spare or I will simply get bored with all of it! LOL But it's a pity... I really would like to have the discipline for it! xx

I know you have to do it regularly but I’ve been told the results only lasts for a little while after you’ve done it even a lady who trialed it for two months said unless she did it the very next day it was like she had never used it at all for the last two months so I’m a bit sceptical it is quite expensive. How long after you’ve done your routine does your face stay lifted for ?…. thank you advance
I just got mine! But why does it feel like I’m being zapped in some areas it hurts a lil and I get scared I can hear the snapping of the machine when it does it lol

Hi Tamara, I have the nuface and have seen very subtle improvement. I'm considering investing in a LED face mask. Do you see more dramatic improvement with the Aduro mask?
I have a hard time seeing subtle changes in my face. But I actually used the Aduro on a patch of ecxema and saw pretty dramatic lessening of redness very quickly. It really sold me on the anti inflammatory/healing effects of LED. Also Claudia Glows showed dramatic healing after micro needling. So I use the NuFace in am and Aduro in pm...and I feel I’m doing healthy treatments for my skin that hopefully keeps my skin healthy, youthful and glowing for as long as possible. ❤️

I’ve viewed many of your videos and know you have dry skin. My question: do u find using this device in the winter to be drying due to the gel needed to operate this device?

Is it safe to use it on the eyebrow bone right above the eye as shown in the video? Is there any possibility that this would cause problems with the eye nerve and affect the vision somehow? What about directly on the lips?
My understanding is it can be used just under the eyebrow but avoid the area over the eyeball.

The power is the same in the mini vs the full size, and I don’t miss the attachments. If you are going to spend the full size amount I would look into the myo lift. Many people prefer that one…but the mini nuface works for me!

Hi Tamara, I purchased a mini & started using but had to stop (3x 🙄) . I think the dermatitis was from the gel. I am looking into alternatives. Anyone have any advice? 💜💜💜
Shoot! Have you tried plain, organic aloe Vera gel? You will need to add a little salt for conductivity.
