To help pay debt and build wealth, there’s another “category” besides no restaurants and no vacations to utilize, and that’s to simply not buy all the little things that you don’t need and can live without. Those things add up.
I stopped buy if house nick nacks. No more candles or little decor we don't need.

Jesse Woodby I have a friend that’s 4K in debt and I’ve told him to apply to amazon $15 an hour and in a few months he can get that paid off, but he doesn’t want to. But he’s stressing from it, so I remind him about amazon and he says no again.

The problem we have is because Most people always taught that " you only need a good job to become rich " . These billionaires are operating on a whole other playbook that many don't even know exists.
Money invested is far better than money saved , when you invest it gives you the opportunity to increase your financial worth.

The wisest thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on government paycheck, especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a time to invest in Stocks, Forex and Digital currencies.
I also keep seeing lot's of people testifying about how they make money investing in Stock, Forex and Crypto Trade(Bitcoin) and I wonder why I keep loosing. Can anyone help me out or at least advice me on what to do.
Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others. As an investor, you should've known that by now that nothing beats experience and that's final. Personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to $35k, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I'm buying again.
Dude at 19 I was getting high and my spacing chicks maxing out credit cards and parking my car at my moms so it wouldn’t get repoed. Kudos to this 19 year old.

I’ll be the first to say that I’m 36,499 in debt and currently on Baby Step 2. If I stay on track I should be debt free by Oct 2021. I’ll keep a track of the success if anybody is interested in this long journey ahead of me. Hopefully this will boost somebody confidence that’s in the same boat as me. ✊🏾

Had to change a lot of habits (not going out as much, sticking to a strict grocery budget, etc. It was a lot of hard work but well worth it in the end.

Everybody has a different path of extreme, albeit homelessness on temporary situation I’ve seen folks do this a few times. We live in greedy times in the population center (better known as a city) rents, mortgages and the price of service and goods are high........this cannot sustain itself forever, a collapse could come.

I was currently a shopaholic, but I’m budgeting myself and I’ve saved 250 so far , I get paid twice a month , so that means I should be careful with my money habits , I’m trying my best .

Got debt down from 20,000 to less than 6,000 in 2 years but a lot of sacrifices had to be made.
No expensive holidays, limiting social events to a bare minimum, not upgrading my old motor, not buying luxury goods, and sticking to a strict household budget.
Not easy to do for sure, until you start to see the benefits of doing it.
I have had to learn a new skill in my 50's, and that is self discipline/self control.
I guess it's a case of " no pain - no gain".

Pizza delivery is not consistent or steady income. It will not bring in 40k with a car wash job.

Pizza delivery doesn't pay, people are so cheap when they tip. It was costing me money to deliver pizzas. That was my experience.

Hi gd day, I am from Trinidad and Tobago, grow up and orfant, I then get a home to buy, for the first time I feels like I belong, I work for some years but the house comes about 8yrs before retirement, I had to renavate, and I keep getting bad work over and over, so right now I am not working and owing my credit union, over $88,00 and change. 6mths I am retired and they are waiting for there money, when I receive my money, my pension will be $300,00 and my loan is $300,600 per month, is there anything I can do it this position. Man, this young man is trying to figure it out. I envy him to a certain degree. I’m 27y/o and trying to figure it out, but I wish I had listened to the people close to me and tried to figure it out sooner. I went through so many avoidable situations because I was prideful and hard headed. This kid actually inspires me and it makes me happy to see it. I wish him the best!

Great video, watching it again as a refresher. I'm supposed to get a financial aid refund check in about a month, month and a half and I'm not sure yet, but I may put it towards a moped so that I can work more and be able to pay off my debt so I can work in ministry full time, have little to no bills and expenses when I'm traveling around the world helping the Lord spread the Gospel and plant churches.

I think he talked more about getting into real estate than how to get out of his current debt situation unless second job was the advice.
I actually started my savings plan by buying a new car. I got the car loan through my credit union and the payments were taken out of my paycheck. Once the car loan was paid the credit union kept taking the money out of my paycheck and I did not miss it. Thus the money went into a savings account in the credit union. I kept the same car for 15 years. I then invested in bonds initially and ultimately in mutual funds. I was able to pay cash for just about everything. I even bought my home through the credit union on a 15 year loan. Paid it off and kept investing.

Second hand isn’t reliable when a lot of people fix their cars and don’t report what’s wrong with it. Buying new gives you lots of things included when it’s new when it costs hunreds for others

On the topic of being young and in sales, I disagree. I sell cars and our young guys who are 18,19,20 are sometimes the top sellers. They have no problem with their age, if anything they have the energy to work circles around us. They do great
I would caution this young man from getting into real estate. It can be done at his age, but it is very difficult. I know from experience. A few grey hairs add substantial credibility to a real estate agent, whether it is warranted or not.
But then yet some of us would rather buy from people in our own age bracket.
No offense meant but grey hair would leave me distrustful.

At the age of 19 the best advice I can give him is to pay off at least the minimum that is required each month and make sure he doesn't dig any further debt wise. He has age on his side and shouldn't stress like a 46 year old

A lot of jobs check credit reports and deny employment for debt in collections. It is very discouraging and depressing.
One thing I’d love to know is how to manage money when you have a chronic illness which might effect your life expectancy since a lot of your life is living in the now and not necessarily saving up for the future, retirement etc!

Just live your life as normally as you possibly can in terms of planning for your future and your retirement.
It depends on which chronic illness you have, I guess, but many chronic illnesses are caused or exacerbated by the way we eat. If you look at populations on this planet where people live the longest and healthiest lives, they aren’t eating like the rest of the world, and they don’t get the diseases that plague the rest of the world either. These are called Blue Zones. If the rest of the world would imitate their lifestyle (and especially their diet), the major chronic diseases would disappear, and people the world over would be living robust lives into their 80s, 90s, and even to 100 with little to no health problems, like people in the Blue Zones do.
xxpowwowbluexx unfortunately my chronic illness is genetic so has nothing to do with the way i eat - however i do agree that eating well can help hugely with a lot of chronic illnesses

Forget about getting the real estate license. It's not needed. Start investing what you can into an asset such as a PAMM. Also put money into fractionated shares of real estate. It will grow.

In about 2500 worth of debt it luckily I’m due a tax refund of £1200-1500 so that’s half of my debt gone next month and then I can work full time again when I finish uni this year
