My grandfather was a janitor and retired a millionaire. Being smart with your money is key!
I'm in my 50s and I'm more interested in investments that could set me up for retirement , I mean I've heard of people that netted hundreds of thousands during these crash, I listened to someone on a podcast who earned over $650K in less than a year, what's the strategy behind such returns?
You're not doing anything wrong, you just don't have the required skillset to profit off a down market, folks that are making profit in this market are pros and experts with in-depth knowledge and skillset.
Yes. It is very easy to buy in on trending stocks but the problem is knowing when to sell or hold, which is why a coach is important. I've been in touch with one for about a year now and although I was initially skeptical about it, I will say I've made more progress within a year generating 6figure profit

I'm a first responder, so I have a modest income. I'm almost a millionaire (also no debt for years & paid off mortgage). Average people can definitely do it.
Congratulations Scott!!! Way to go and you are 100% correct!
how did you got a mortgage? did you had credit cards before ?
Amazing job! Keep up the good work 🙂. And thank you for your service.
Wait so you're like a paramedic wow
How old are you Scott?
I’m Mexican, and you inspired me I don’t understand too much English, but the first time I heard you I started, I payoff my house in 9 months, no credit cards, and go to Roth IRA at 53 I’m debt freeeeeee thanks Ramsey

Good luck to everyone trying to build wealth and become millionaires!

Almost 40 and halfway to becoming a millionaire. On baby step 7. Thank you, Dave Ramsey!
I started with Dave Ramsey when I graduated college in 2009 and I started a corporate engineering job. Became a net worth millionaire in 2017. Currently my net worth is about $5 million. Lived super frugally on a small portion of my income and invested the rest…. Boom it’s that simple. I believe anyone can become a multi-millionaire. To become extraordinarily wealthy, that does take another level of grit, talent and sometimes luck. FYI, I grew up lower middle class and started with nothing with no one wealthy in my family.
What did you invest in particular? thx and congra for the hard work.
So first get a corporate engineering job? 🙄

I really saw the potential of the stock market by reading Berkshire's annual letters. I recently sold my $674k apartment in the Bel Air area and I'm hoping to throw it into the stock market. I just don't want to lose everything.
Most people either do not understand the power of compound interest, or are just impatient. For the average Joe, however, I think it is just best to invest in the S&P 500, and just wait, which is reliable, albeit extremely long-- lots of years. Or just use a professional analyst and speed up wealth creation. Most people underestimate the power of the latter.
I agree with you. I started out with investing on my own, but I lost a lot of money. I was able to pull out about $200k after the 2020 crash. I invested the money using an analyst, and in seven months, I raked in almost $673,000

Find quality stocks that have long term potential, and ride with those stocks. I have found it takes someone who is very familiar with the market to make such good picks.

I agree that the stock market is an excellent way to generate passive income. I've heard of numerous investors generating more than $40,000 per month. how can i invest and diversify my portfolio?
As a regular investor, it is difficult to outperform the market. You lack access to information that specialists do. So it's simply best to hire a professional who understands how things function.

Understanding that being a millionaire could give me the resources to help others in a big way is what changed my view of a millionaire. I always thought that being a millionaire just meant I could live a luxurious life.
I understand totally. I've had the same change!
I am so glad I randomly ran across Dave’s show on UA-cam 4 years ago. It completely changed my trajectory. Now I’ve always saved for retirement and put away the max towards my 401k at work since age 25, but I’ve never gotten serious about getting rid of my student loans until I watched the show. Coming out with 140k in student loans makes me feel like it’s hopeless until you really get aggressive with pay it off. Once I followed the baby steps… that loan went away quickly and without loans, I never slept better… a whole weight was off me… and I finally can see how I can take that money invest it and see it quickly amass. Within 1 year, got me to a million. Cutting back, rice and beans were tough to do but the freedom it brings now… 100% worth it. Worth the short term sacrifice for the long term mental freedom.
Rachel I truly admire you thanks to Dave! I finally paid off my student loans after 17 years!!!! I am driven to keep going and becoming a millionaire soon! 🙏
Belief is everything! So true ! I bought my house when i was 25, i had a goal to pay off my mortgage in full before i turned 40. Today I'm 35, on track to have it GONE by the end of 2023.

Thank you for having your Dad do this show Rachel. I have been listening to your Dad since his days with Roy Lee Matlock on WTN Nashville.
I am a teacher in Arkansas and have been for 13 years. We are very low payed as far as teachers go. My husband is a firefighter and makes a medium income. We have no debt, I was able to take time off when our kids were born, and only owe 40k on our house. Hoping to pay it off by the time I'm 40. I think teachers are millionares bc they HAVE to learn frugality BECAUSE they don't make much. So its a lifestyle and mindset that automatically lends itself to saving.
I agree. I’m also a teacher.
Congrats on how well you are doing. 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
Me too, I’m also a teacher. It helps that you get paid the same every single month and nothing changes. This makes routine/habit & helps to build wealth gradually.. it’s a slow process but it works.
You are correct Dave. I knew and I believed from the very young age that I will be a multimillionaire. Gratitude and act of kindness is just part of my life.
Yes!!! Amen!! Thank you 🙏 I needed this reminder today so so much!!! Yes!!!
I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.
Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown. its important to seek the guidance of an expert
Strategic investment is critical. My ideal investment is a diverse combination of stocks, bonds, and ETFs. It provides an excellent long-term return and has performed admirably thus far, but I needed to diversify my portfolio at some point, so I approached a coach who devised a system that aligned with my targets; so far, I've made a whopping $580k, and scaling my portfolio to a million by the end of the year does not seem too far-fetched to me.

I fully agree with Dave. I am a software engineer from Bangalore, India and I am a US$ millionaire. I followed a rule of never ever taking any kind of Debt in my life. I bought my first house in 100% cash down. My savings rate from my 1st day of starting job was 20% which kept increasing each year as my salary kept increasing and now from last 7.5 qyears it's been 70% savings rate. I reached to millionaire status in 18 years of my working career. I don't understand why most Americans can't become millionaire despite of earning such a high salary as compared to Indians working in India. Increase the savings rate to 50%-70% and you will become millionaire so fast.
Living in America is expensive.
@@marthaayalew2505 Living anywhere is expensive if you compare income with respect to that country. The key is to reverse compute how much you can spend after removing the savings money first from your income. Once this number available for spending is computed then plan for how much is available for housing, food, transportation. If number is small then one will have to junk the idea of staying in bigger , expensive housing. What one can afford can afford. Affordability number can only be computed after removing savings from the monthly income.
Cool bhai hope to do as you did
You can’t do this in Australia. Rent is too expensive and we have a housing crisis atm which makes accomodation super expensive.
Every bit you are able to put towards the principle helps out in the long run. You'll be surprised how quickly it adds up.

My carrot was actually to get out of debt. Absolutely HATE payments. These steps work! We are now paying off our house!
This video makes DAVE RAMSEY make sense to me now!
Wow. I'm not a $60G income. A little over half that. Not 30yrs either. Older. Still almost out of debt. Thanks Ramsey.
Thank you, Rachel & Dave I believe can be done because I being follow your principle since day one I want to be wealthy so I can help others God Will🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️💪🏿💪🏿
Love This!
Very interesting information about the process driven careers being the usual millionaire. Also, mentoring by someone who knows is so good for anyone.
tell you what i have listened but not paid attention to these baby steps for a long time because i wanted a way to get out of debt without the hard work. Now i get it. i need to put in the work. I work for myself to get myself away from debt. I'm doing this for me. I am the only one who can do it. I need to follow the steps religiously as if I am saving someone's life. True that someone is me.. Thankyou
Great video thankyou both for wonderful advice.
Excellent content!
👌
Thank you so much for sharing this amazing Video… I’m 29 years old… Love your Video, I want to learn more about saving and investing…
"go do it anyway..." I love that
I absolute love this conversation between the two of you, and therefore, have listened to/watch it more than once. I know you have many other videos together, but I think this one really sums up the core of your teachings beautifully. I love the message, the principles, the encouragement, the simplicity - yes, things may not be easy but they can be simple, which is fantastic. I am beyond grateful for all you have taught me, and really cherish your teachings. They brought a major shift to my thought processing, mindset and behavior, regarding money but also overall. It is amazing to think that by organizing and taking ownership of your finances you are helping yourself, your family and subsequently the world in so many ways - it is like tossing a little pebble in the water and seeing the continuing ripples that form on the surface. To top it off, I am also so impressed with your working together. Loved memories of my own dad come to mind when I see you dialoguing and discussing these important topics, and it truly warms my heart. Congratulations on the new book, Dave. Many thanks again for your work and for sharing your legacy with everyone.
You are an angel of God Dave and Rachel. Thanks for the clear voice.
God bless you Dave
I look forward to the day I can meet Dave and Rachel.
I feel like there could be a whole book on Baby Step 3 alone. It can be less exciting or motivating than getting out of debt and when you finally reach Baby Steps 4, 5 and 6, sometimes, because of emergencies, you find yourself back in Baby Step 3. An encouraging and supportive book on that step would be awesome!
You are not really "back" in baby step 3, you just replenish your emergency fund while working steps 4-6 or 7, depending on where you are.
Finding it difficult to save for BS3! Always dipping into it for emergencies, real emergencies. Always feel like I’m going forward a step and back two. Very frustrating! These videos are encouraging & knowing I am not alone in this journey helps.
I make 42k a year and have 18k student loans so far. My goal is pay off the debt by the mid of 2023. I watch debt free scream videos everyday to encourage myself. My dream is to have my own house one day.
Baby step 7, on my way to 1m. Thanks Dave
