As a pure Water type that can’t be isolated when shiny hunting, you’re probably better off rolling for an outbreak of them in the Timeless Woods.
Really good spot for pooches and seedots with their evolved forms in packs is along the river bank in Kita Woods by gracious stones. Go as far back as you can into that river bank that extends into the wall. Then set up a picnic on the higher side of the river bank near where mon spawn in the river to prevent them from spawning so that the pooches and seedot packs spawn on the opposite river bank side. Makes them easy to see.
I’m so glad this series is back I got 3 shiny morpekos, 2 shiny Pawniards, 1 shiny Bisharp, and 1 shiny Morgrem all in one sandwich
Just wanted to say thanks for the vids! They really helped me with completing my shiny dex! Also it seems vullaby is a daytime spawn only. As soon as dusk hit no more spawned in.
When you do water types it's going to be so awesome can't wait for that video to drop!

Shiny Dark type sandwich recipe 1 tomato, 1 onion, 1 hamburger, 1 green pepper, 2 smoked fillet, and 2 of any herba mystica
Shiny Vullaby can also be hunted using a flying sandwich in the north western part of the map, the same area where you fight Okidogi. Much easier as nothing else spawns

Not even aggressive bombider’s? They seem to spawn where ever baby vultures do. Only if they didn’t put that stork in the dlc.

There is a cave outside the mouth of the timeless woods on the mountain side you can get Bisharp, Sliggo, Sneasel and Dunsparce so in that cave you can Isolate hunting by just eating either a Steel, Dragon, Ice or Normal Sandwich
FYI Vullaby will not spawn at night even if you have an outbreak. You have to hunt during the day.
Paradise Barrens is a way better spot for Vullaby since there's more room for it to spawn. You could also dual hunt Bombirdier there too.
I want a vullaby and I’ve tried that spot but it’s like 90% bombirdier, no great vullaby spots

There's a better spot for morpeko in the oni mountain where there's a tera geodude spawn. you can picnic reset there and a bunch will just keep spawning in and u just have to look slightly to the left and right. I found 2 of them there.

Thats just the games spawn issues
Might be an error with the sandwich? I've had a few times that I got a different power in place of encounter. Change locations and check type.
Are you sure you didn't mess up? It might be day-time /night-time spawn too. Like Vullaby, it only spawns during the day even if you have an outbreak.
