Water for Feebas or Ground/Flying for Gligar next please!
Feebas is found in the same cave where he showed Salandit in the fire video, just even further down in the cave. Once you find the underground pool: congratulations, that's where Feebas spawn. Now just KO the Barboach until a Feebas spawns. Don't bother trying to shiny hunt a Wild Feebas, you'll find 900 times more Barboach. Just catch a Feebas, and Masuda Method breed for a shiny.
Hope and pray and reset the map for an outbreak, or breed for it. I finally got my shiny after 3 days of trying to get the outbreak and it was finally there this morning

@@jennytool1348 yes, gotta get the outbreak, go to the spot, k.o. 60(?), fly back up top so you can save and then make the shiny sandwich. Go back down to the cave pond its in, k.o. whiscash if its there, and then just try to circle the room or go back and forth between rooms until ya find it. I got 2 from this, a male and female lol

I would like to thank you for your advice, your guide is very helpful. However I found a better place to shiny hunt Yanma, it is the same spot where you shiny hunted Slugma. However I thank you for your guidance on shiny hunting Slugma, Spinarak, Jangmo-o, and many more from your previous videos. I can’t wait for more advice on other Pokémon like Ducklett, Swinub, and Ekans. Now I’m gonna go find shiny Sewaddle.
Got my Shiny Grubbin with my first sandwich at 15 minutes of looking ! I evolved it into Vikavolt ... such a beautiful shiny !
U can also do one tomato one onion one beef patty and 2 cherry tomatoes and 2 of any herbas or one pickle one cucumber 3 cherry tomatoes and any 2 herbas

Is it encounter
There's an alternate spot for Yanma: The Crystal Pool. During the Day, with an encounter power 3 sandwich, *ONLY* Yanma will spawn in the entire area. The downside is that as soon as night rolls around, Yanma will stop spawning, and the normal encounters (Slugma, Koffing, the Ghosts, etc) will return even if your sandwich is still active.
Edit: Update, turns out that Yanma is a Day only Spawn. So both locations (the one Philly gave and the one I gave) will stop spawning Yanma once night falls.

Another spot for Volbeat and Illumise is by flying to mossfell confluence jumping to the rocky beach right across from it a ton of them will spawn over the water, you can picnic reset for it

I had been waiting for this one cuz i wanted Yanmega, Vikavolt, and Ariados
But during a outbreak yanma hunt that ended up disappearing, i used my last minutes and got a random Shiny Spinirak, and while hunting slugma, i got a shiny charm only yanma over the crystal pool (ended up with two shiny slugma afterwards) The only bug type i want now is Vikavolt so i'll have that to hunt, cant wait for Ground and water for gligar, wooper and feebas!

I'm kinda sad shiny yanma wasn't my first shiny in the DLC,mine was shiny stantler,it was just standing there XD like ♪doo,doo,doo♪ I'm just chilling here in the shade just waiting to be seen XD I don't remember what I was doing but I thought it was so funny it was just standing there
An alternate sandwich recipe is by using 1 porisscuto, 1 of each pepper, and 2 cherry tomatoes then use any herba mystica combo. Could you do water next?

the bus stop area would spawn sewaddle, spinarak and yanma. you can isolate them with grass, posion and flying. it's really great to hunt for there

I just recently went to the secret spot to shiny hunt Spinarak and almost immediately after putting away the picnic a shiny Spinarak spawned under a tree behind me and I also just got a shiny Volbeat in an outbreak.
I can't remember the UA-camr but he said use potato salad, salty herba, and spicy or sweet herba. It's stuck in my brain rent free since 🤣
Found a shiny spinarak after an hour of starting the real mask :D

Yamma location is also good for lotad both grass and water make it the only thing to spawn in the water

so far i have 3 shiny bug pokemon, evolved 2 (yanma and spinarak), and caught a shiny geodude...i called it (soon to be) "cheeseball" during the dlc event
i literally found a shiny yanma (which took me not even a minute, it was also my first dlc shiny, but my second shiny yanma since my ACTUAL first was on pokemon go) when i first started the dlc, i was like "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!?" i was happy and surprised but i was disappointed at the same time because i was originally planning to transfer my yanma from pokemon go to pokemon violet. i got over it though

Philly I have a good spot for spinarak and ariados it is south of kitakami wilds by the small grass ledge.
While I was exploring Kitakami, i found 2 Shiny Charjabugs without even trying. I mean they just show up out of nowhere without any sandwich powers.

The spawning rate difference of volbeat and illumise reflects the original different encounter rate of each in their debut game ruby & sapphire. Also you pronounced illumise wrong.❤

I gotta ask. Did gamefreak patch out the picnic reset method? I always used this method to spawn in new Pokémon, and it’s gotten me a decent amount of shinies without need of herba, but ever since Teal Mask dropped, my lucked run dry. I even have the shiny charm, and still no dice

@@PhillyBeatzU then I suppose outbreaks themselves are bugged then. I’ve been hunting a shiny charjabug in an area just south of the timeless woods, and I’ve not run into it, and I’ve been trying for over 3 hours. Despite this, I’ve bumped into both a shiny Gallade AND a shiny Shinx in the exact area the outbreak is occurring in. How I managed to bump into 2 shiny Pokémon who aren’t boosted by any outbreaks/sandwich odds, I find it strange I found them before a single shiny charjabug. I even had this problem with a spinarak outbreak, which I tried desperately to find, and yet I found nothing after 2 hours of searching.
By the way the yanma one has to be in the day, I first tried at night but only got lotad
