I lost my husband in February this year and was totally alone, no relatives but some good friends. Then a tiny little 2yr old rescue Chi called Trixie came into my life and changed it completely😊😊😊
My little deer Chihuahua is my best friend. Since I am disabled, we are together 24/7 and she can't stand being away from me for more than a few minutes. I love her to the moon and back.
As a chihuahua owner my tip would be to let other owners know to always use a body harness when taking out for walks instead of a collar because they are prone to tracheae collapse. This way when they pull back it doesn’t put pressure on their delicate little throats.
Proud owner of five chihuahuas over my lifetime. They have been one of the greatest blessings of my life! My first lived to be 18 years old. She was lovely. My little-est friend. I'll see you when I get there, Bridgette. ❤️
They're more hyper, as puppies, than they'll ever be again. They're not super hyper, either way. They follow their owners lead, and their mood. They'll be hyper if you're hyper with them. They are basically lap dogs. They will be always by your side. My experience, applehead chihuahuas are more laidback than deerhead chihuahuas. Both types are like cats in their ease of care.
I’m lucky enough to have my baby chi since she was 8 weeks old. She is 12 years old now & has grown to be quite the character, all nine lbs of her. She has been very sociable all her life. Her ever loving personality makes her the center of attention, a back scratch here, ear rubs there & belly rubs anytime are her cup of tea. She’s the boss & knows it. Baby Chi loves being the leader of the pack. Girl loves her clothes & is a celebrity wherever she goes. ❤ Dogs are truly a gift from above & proof of endless love. God bless all dogs & their owners🙏🏽
My Chihuahua loves me almost as much as I love him. I went through a time of depression and he'd forced me out of bed to walk, feed, and play with him. He controls me and keeps me going. He is also the friendliest Chihuahua on the planet.
I have adopted a 1 year old chihuahua. He is very intelligent and learns and adopts quickly and appreciates very much the quality time and care that he is given.
I rescued my Charlie the chi may of 2022. He was 5 and she sad and fearful. One year later he is full of life and fur. He is 4lbs full of energy. He is my my bestie and secret keeper. He loves the park. He is good with other dogs once introduced to them, big or small.
One day my wife said “I think I want a dog “ so I went to the shelter and came home with Patrick and I didn’t want a dog but Patrick didn’t get the memo and yes I’m his no.1 his sidekick and he’s also my son/boss and every time I leave the house he has to go and barks at everything moving, so the price of unconditional love, loyalty, affection and protection is a little high for this little dog but I wouldn’t trade him for anything, I love my son 🥰
I know exactly what your saying, my husband say’s don’t stop suddenly, because she’s right behind you and he affectionately says sook to her she cuddles into me.😂😂
I have a full blooded long hair Chihuahua boy and he’s been the best friend ever. I got him as a pup and taught him many tricks, I’d be lost without him. He even knows when I’m depressed and he makes me smile every time.
My chihuahua loves her relaxation time just like I do. We are inseparable long story short. I take her everywhere with me except for work. I turned a child’s backpack into a dog one. Only her little head sticks out. She loves it so much. Some people think she doesn’t like it but she gets very relaxed and sleepy looking. I don’t even want to think about not having her anymore😢
I had two of the sweetest little girls for 18 years. They didn't bark too much and were the best watch dogs ever. They loved my kitty as well. There was only one person they were very leery of. (He was a pretty intense person.) I never went anywhere that I could not take them. They traveled like champs. They were fearless so I had to keep a close eye on them. They loved most children. They never bit anyone. I call them hummingbirds of the dog world. I agree to have at least two is best for them to keep each other company when you can't be with them. (Any pet should have a companion, not just Chi's). I would get two more but I'm almost 80 so to do that would mean I may leave them before they leave me. So I'll just spoil my daughters now and enjoy them. Be safe and happy everyone and love your pets whether they are Chi's or not. 😊
I have been a Chihuahua mom to a total of 3, and they were all rescues. From a toddler, I have always had at least one dog - of one breed/size or another - in my home at all times. Now at the ripe age of 66, I must admit that these 3 little ones have brought me more joy than I've ever known; but at the same time, losing them (2 - I still have one) has been the most heartbreaking, gut wrenching experience I have ever had as well. I would not trade one single second of any of this for ANYTHING. I am now at the point of looking for at least one more. They keep me young, give me great exercise and never fail to lift my mood when I'm feeling blue. I would highly recommend sharing your home and your heart with a Chihuahua to just about anyone.
We just lost our third chihuahua at 18 years of age. They are AWESOME dogs! A huge factor is socializing them with other pets and people from the minute you get them home!
I have had Chihuahuas since the early 80's, and I just adore them! I've had three at a time. At present, I have just one, a rescue named Isabelle, adopted in 2018. I hope and pray I have her for a long time!
I got given a chihuahua 18 months ago. All you said is true, she wakes me up in the night snuggling up to me. And btw positive re-enforcement is essential
My Lucy is a crazy dog. Im not her first choice she was my late wifes best friend but after she passed Lucy and I are together all the time. I never leave her alone for more than a couple hours and when I get home its pure pandamodem she looses her little mind. She gets zoomies ,and she is all over me with lovens then she beats me up and then back to lovens and cuddles its so cute. I dont know what Id do without her, she is all I have now and she is like 13 years old yet, she still acts like a 2 year old.
I have a Chihuahua and she is absolutely adorable. I got her from the street and she's been with me for the last eight years. During this time she has adapted to living with my dad's dog after my dad passed. She also adapted well when my two year old great granddaughter and her parents came to live with me while my grandson finished his doctorate. Now, three weeks ago she's in the process of training an Airedale young dog that was abandoned in the park near our house. Lolita is a champion.
I love my boy Gizmo, he’s my best friend and totally changed my opinion on small dogs!! He really is like a little person and loves to do everything with me as long as we’re together!!
I can't believe nothing was mentioned about how Chihuahua was like to burrow under blankets and things to keep warm and feel safe that is there like number one favorite thing in the world and not one mention about it
Boy did you hit the nail right on the head! As the Mom to 3 Chihuahuas, I see EVERYTHING you spoke of! But you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way! They're my children AND my best friends. Who needs people when you have Chihuahuas?!?!
My deer chihuahua Gizmo is so beautiful & doesn't leave my side. He's my lickle friend with lots of love to give & massive personality he makes me smile everyday wonderful character amazing dog🥰
I had several Chihuahuas. And everything sounds the same controlling unconditional love sensitive, loyal, lovable and reaction loyally to my character. 17 years of happiness love and understanding my Chihuahuas a very beautiful ❤️ experience.
I love my Chihuahuas as they know when I am mentally having a bad day or am hurting with pain. They stay beside me and sit with me. When I first got these Chihuahuas I worked, and knew that having 2 would be good for the 8 hour days of work were long for them. But they are my babies
Chi's seem to bond closely with one person. We promised my bf's mom we would take her chi mix if anything happened to her. she developed alzheimers and had to go into care, she passed a year later. We took Jessie when she went into care. After almost four years he still cries, talks, sobs, and moans in his sleep. After all this time, he still misses her. It has improved, but it's so sad to hear it.
😢 Dogs love and loyalty never ceases to amaze me. The more years I have with my dogs. The more I want to be with them over ppl and even family. They're like angels to me ❤
My chihuahua loves me and my mom but my mom was like I think goofy little pup adores you more xuz she with you more and is sad when i aint around and I know it's hard for the dogs when their human goes especially when they're the type to bond closely with their human
I've been blessed with my deerhead Chihuahua for over 3yrs now and 19months living together in a RV with only 1 other human we socialize with. I've had German shepherds my entire life and this is my 1st Chihuahua and I'm absolutely amazed how smart and loyal my baby is...she now is my entire life I have no friends or family anymore but my Chihuahua fills my heart with love and joy!❤🐕👍🔥
They are loyal , funny, loving and protective. Great characters. Adored mine with all my heart . She was cream , ginger patches and a grey freaked nose. Long haired . Very pretty . Sadly , she died aged 15. Lost a piece of my heart when I lost her to heaven 💜🥲
I’ve never known such heartbreak losing my Tina. A wonderful little lady chihuahua. She’s taken my heart when she had to leave me. I’ll never get over losing her. She was the most loyal companion I’ve ever had xx 💔💔
I’m so sorry for your loss.. I know your in pain and probably think it’s callous of me to say go to the pound and rescue another one ❤❤❤No one will ever replace your Baby❤❤But being able to save a life to give care and comfort to a sweet soul that has no one😢Well it can be very satisfying and rewarding …
My little buddy smokies passed away last year I had him for 17 years ( the best years of my life) I miss him so much I still cry for him he was my world my everything I never thought I would miss something so much. R.I.P my little buddy ill see you at the Rainbow Bridge when the time comes 😢,❤
Absolutely fantastic, especially in small groups. Some of the most hilarious (in a good way) dogs to watch run and play. If you are set on a small breed, they are top-tier.
I have a Chihuahua and a mix Chihuahua mutt plus 2 cats. All get along great because I took the time to properly research how to introduce them. Amazingly sweet, wonderful pets!
I'm fostering 2 little senior girls because their mama died at 88. No one in her family would take them, so I took them. They were skin and bone by the time I got them. It took a while for them to get used to me and me to learn their ways. Now they boss me. But they get along with my other dogs and cat. They all curl up and snuggle together. Mine eat a little all day and don't fight over their food. Half of the things mentioned here, I've never seen!
I've always had Chihuahuas for me that's my favorite breed and right now I have 3 a mother and her 2 daughters they are so very well behaved (most of the time) if I'm with them and they start to bark I talk to them and tell them " shhh no bark" they listen even when I'm outside and the neighbors are outside with their dogs they start to bark and I talk to them and they mostly listen to me. I'm a dog person but I do love all animals but a cute well behaved Chihuahua is all I need.
Thank you for training your dogs! As you know every moment you spend training your dog you get back ten fold. More people should understand that a Chihuahua's size does not mean it does not need rules. Most Chihuahua's notorious bad behaviors are because their owner creates and reinforces it (as seen through the countless tiktoks and videos of people making their dog snap at them by teasing them). The peace of mind that your dog isn't bolting out the door every time it's opened is priceless. Thank you for making an environment where your dogs are confident in your leadership and behave because you created a special bond of trust with them makes well balanced pets!
Our little guy has made much progress in the last 3 years. He is a rescue. Went from being scared of everything. He loves our grandchildren, especially the girls. Chihuahuas will sleep between your legs.
My Chihuahua was one of the Best Friends I have ever had on the Earth!! She Loved new clothes too!! Her name was Leah Love and she went home to JESUS at Christmas time 2022!! It still hurts deeply!! However; I am sooo Thankful for the times we were together and Cherish my Memories of her!! It was Adorable how much she Loved Toys and it was so FUN to watch her play with them!! The best thing about her was she always made me feel so Loved!!! She was the Church Mascot where I attended!! She came every Sunday and she was very quiet the whole Service and stayed in her little bed the whole time!! She Loved to go to Church and when I would mention it she would get so very Excited!! Five years before she went away for good she died in a house fire!! Some old wiring caught fire unexpectedly in the walls!! It was Devastating Trauma, however; I watched the fire fighters bring her back!!! It was a Beautiful Miracle!! I am so Thankful for those last five years of Leah Loves Life!! I will Cherish the memories Forever!!!!
I had a short apple head chihuahua for 16 years, an Italian Greyhoud for 18 years. I now have a "street" chihuaha that was rescued from starvation. it looks like a black and tan min-pin. it is the most loving floppy dog-- I'd say something like a Ragdoll cat when it is sitting in my lap. It is on the larger size, sixteen to eighteen pounds-- so not one of these tiny doggies. Love it. Cutest ever. Needs a bath now though!
I have 6 chihuahuas omg I love love love them, they keep me on my toes, they show so much love. I wish I could have more but I am so happy with the babies I have.
My Bella is the sweetest little dog I would ever want. She is an amazing little sweetheart she loves to get attention from strangers. She can get to you an show you love. She gets along with everything. I got her out of the animal shelter an she is the same from the day I got her. My precious little girl
Just be careful that your garden is fully fenced, no tiny gaps for small dogs to squeeze through. Also, beware of urban or country foxes who will attack a small chi, as will hawks. Watch them at all times if they are in a large garden. The long haired version, may also need bottom washed and dried after toileting sometimes, but they do fit in the sink nicely! Also, they like to be kept warm and cosy in winter. Young puppies can suffer from falling blood sugar levels so whilst they are young and using up energy quickly, always carry a small bottle of water mixed with sugar to prevent this. They also find it hard to regulate their body temperatures, so a little coat in cool weather is a good idea. They are wonderful adorable little pet companions but you do have to be prepared to watch over them and protect them…lots of TLC!
My chihuahua is the absolute best friend. She is a Velcro dog. I believe she imprinted on me. She is a rescue and she rescued me too after the loss of my other dog.
I have five chihuahuas and I love them all. Their temperament is just great! Only bark at strangers.😅 but otherwise they can be active when playing in the garden running around chasing the birds. Ironically strangers can be wary of them when they start growling. When I see that start laughing as that is they can do behind the gate. Love them very much.
My chihuahua/poodle is the best dog I’ve ever owned. Smart , they catch on immediately.only set back is they need to be with you all the time. I love her. They live a long time. She is 17. Very healthy. Her vet said she may be one of those chihuahua’s who live into their 20’s.
We already had 3 cats when we got our chihuahua. Our dog preferably likes cats the most and behaves like one aswell ! She sits on the couch ends, she sleeps on the highest bed on the cat tower ( yes, she climbs there by herself ), licks herself and her catfriends like a cat and likes to play with the laserpointer! Last year we've got a stray kitten that a neighbour found on the streets. My dog was the first one to learn him everything! These two together also play allot like running after eachother and they play together with the rope toy. chihauhaus are amazing and very adaptable
Twelve valid points, and chihuahuas excel at training their masters and organizing their lives for them. But if you need a laugh, just call your chihuahua. Ya gotta love 'em.
I have had Chihuahuas since the seventh grade. Now I am almost 32, and 8 Chihuahuas have been members of my family! Shelley (RIP), Ditty (Shelley’s son; RIP), Inky, Melodee, Hagi (my Chihuahua and the one in my icon), Pedro, Paco, and Rowdy! Chihuahuas are the best dogs! I cannot imagine life without them! Such funny little creatures! Each one is so different than another!
We’ve had 2 chihuahuas. I’ve had larger dogs all my life but after 50 I switched to chihuahuas. I’m 68 now and have 1 male HES the best friend I ever had. I love him so much. He’s been 5 pounds his whole life. The vet has heard a heart mur mur. It’s painful but the meds my son in law vat gave me really help. He’s irreplaceable.
I have 4 Chihuahuas one is a mini pincher mix. They are so loving and all the stuff in this video is right about them. I would definitely recommend having a Chihuahua. They are great pets.
I have 2 Chahuahuas and absolutely love them, they are with me all the time except bedtime 1 sleeps with me 1 sleeps with my 23 year old son, they are very protective of us.
I adopted my first little chihuahua mix last year and would agree with all that was said. She was very fearful of others when I first got her but has grown to be very firendly. One thing that was not mentioned was that they have very long nails and are very "handsy". They will demand your attention by pawing like crazy. This can be somewhat of a challenge around children as they are prone to scratch you in their excitment.
Please find someone who can properly care for your dog or educate yourself. Chihuahuas DO NOT have long nails as a breed standard. The extra long nails are because you NEGLECT your dog and don't clip it's nails which is VERY PAINFUL for your dog. You are the poster child for people who should not own a pet. Wake up and take your dog to the vet or a groomer and have its nails clipped regularly or find a responsible person to care for your dog. Your dog is pawing at you like crazy because you didn't properly train it.If your dog is a "challenge" around children it is because you never put the time in to train your dog, it's not a "chihuahua thing" is a owner who refuses to understand ALL dogs need to be properly trained. If you care even a tiny bit about your dog take the time to educate yourself and rethink your responsibility in owning a dog.
We adopted two dogs last August one is a Chihuahua mix. The other one is a Shih Tzu mix. Those are small dogs with the exact same coloring. The Humane Society and adopted these dogs from a house that had 80 dogs. This is the first time I have ever had a chihuahua. We love him and we love her dearly. However, the Chihuahua sheds like crazy. Can anyone help me with this shedding problem?
@@lindalopez2826 wow Linda, did you have to be so angry with this person, I mean C'mon she merely said her nails are long and just because she didn't know it wasn't a breed thing you made her out to be some horrible neglectful dog owner! She's probably a very loving dog owner after all she DID adopt him and I'm pretty sure she didn't adopt him to be some neglectful and irresponsible dog owner!! critique your words before critiquing a dog owner who apparently aren't as intelligent about dog nails as you are lol I think you should apologize for being such a harsh and hard individual towards her!
@Alexis Miller I have a smooth hair deer heard. So I don't notice it. Barking dosnt bother me cause I let them play outside side all day and bring then in at night. So at n8ght they are chilled. But if a door bell rings or a door knocks, yeah the get defensive. Which I like, cause they are like a mini alarm to let me know something has changed.
@@MsTruthhurts007 I have a long-haired Chihuahua and yes shedding is a massive problem that I deal with but I have a robot vacuum that runs around 2 to 3 times a day so I don’t really notice it but before that I was having to sweep at least twice a day
My Chihuahua sheds, but she’s my best friend. She only barks if she hears my camera notification. She has never bitten, pad trained & absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this breed! ❤
My Peaches is so nice and loves people. She doesn't bark and she does so many cute things. If I am talking on my phone, she will come up on my chest and put her paw over my mouth. She's my breath of fresh air.
My Chi/Stiz mix is the most loving loyal dog I have ever been blessed with, gets on with her sister's,a Jack Russell, and a Yorkshire Terrier and also my 2 cat's, enjoyed our baby movements when I was pregnant, guards her the same as me, Absolutely blessed to have all my furbabies, shouldn't have favourites I know(but ya do, just not supposed to say😉) saved me from bad time's, fronting Bull mastitis and Japanese Aketers on walk's 🤣😂, unbelievable loyalty and love,my world, belter little breed Xxx
I recently rescued an overweight, senior Chihuahua. He's my first one of this breed and I adore him. I can't wait for all the snow to melt and it to warm up so I can take him for walks. Until then he's getting a bit of exercise on the carpeted stairs (I do try to watch over and supervise him due to his sore joints). I love him and take him with me most everywhere. He's so good at sitting quietly on his blanket in the shopping cart. Unless he see's a big dog, then it's nonstop barking, lol.
I just got my first! From a rescue. She's 7-ish, took her to the vet & discovered she has a 3-4 grade heart murmur 😥 She's quiet, funny, loves to play fetch with her tiny crinkle toy, and only has eyes for me. Sweet angel! I do want to get her a brother - they need peers 🥰
Thank you for rescuing the little chihuahua they are very special and need lots o love. Guaranteed they will love you with all they got. I had my chihuahua for 17 wonderful years the best in my life. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge in October and I miss him soooooo much it hurts so bad it feels like a piece of my heart is missing. 🐾💔😭. Its ok I know I'll see him again some day when it's my time to go. Until then I'm looking to get another little chihuahua buddy to keep me company . They are the best dogs thats my opinion. R.I.P. my little Smokie 🐕 I miss you
Try giving your baby some freeze dried chicken hearts every day. They are a good source of taurine, which is VERY important for their heart. Most dogs don't get enough taurine in their daily diet. Also, try to keep her teeth clean. If she won't let you brush them, try some oral probiotics for dogs. These are probiotics for their mouth, which help with dental health. I get them from Amazon. Enjoy all the love and kisses.
Thank you for the freeze dried hearts recommendation!!! I'm always looking for ways to improve my little one's health. Her heart murmur has now become congestive heart failure... 🥺
Chihuahuas make wonderful companions. They are easy to care for and require little grooming since the long-haired Chihuahuas' coats do not tangle easily. Being a small breed, they also have lower food requirements compared to larger dogs. Chihuahuas can be territorial, affectionate, and very attached to their owners. How long have you had your Chihuahua?
@ my son gave him to me in 2014. My sister has a cat they are best friends she is female. If you ever viewed Vivian Kimberlin on UA-cam her dog looks exactly like Noah.
@@dianaleal5183 That's good to know! I have had Charlie for the past nine years; he's such a lovely boy. Now I'm thinking of getting a kitty. Do you like cats?
I have a chihuahua that's 5 years old since he was a baby. He is the friendliest chihuahua in America and the only thing he chases are squirrels .no barking,no biting and he will make friends with any animal and anybody
Our little chihuahua has the sweetest nature. He's best friend is a large rescue cat who defends him, at times, as he defends her. He has perfected the art of staring to get his wants known!
OMG..! Yes they are. I’ve had a few different breeds of dogs throughout my life, I have a chihuahua now, he’s laid next to me in bed at this moment, he is a prince but he loves his mummy, and we have lots of fun together . He always makes me smile and laugh, but everything she said about them is totally true, he doesn’t like kids and would fight Bigfoot if he was in his way..! 🇺🇦💪💙🇬🇧
We are a Chihuahua rescue and parents. I did lose one to him attacking my Briard over food. I could not saver his life. It was heartbreaking. I think we've had around 10 in our foster program. These dogs are so much fun and they adore their owners. Highly recommended.
This is my third Chihuahua! I love my little boy. He loves everyone. He jumps all over people including strangers. 5 yr old and enjoying life to the fullest ❤️❤️❤️
Why do you let your dog jump all over people? Not everyone is open to having a dog run up on them and jump on them and you could be putting your dog at risk of someone kicking and hurting (or killing) your dog (which will be YOUR fault because YOU failed to control your dog). If you really love your dog train him to NOT jump on ANYONE, it is not "CUTE" when you reinforce bad behavior. There are people who can be traumatized by your dog jumping on them because of a past event or phobia. Your dogs behavior is 100% YOUR responsibility and when you fail to control your dog you put HIS LIFE 100% at risk.
I have had 3 . None of the 3 do and did not like clothes, I spent so much money, they would get out of the clothes, lol, and one even would tear them up, lol. I had one 17 years and died of cancer for a little over 4 years ago. My old girl is now 19, I have 4 year old that's protective of the old one, she's gotten use that the other doesn't want to play with toys, but she loves on the older one and checks on her often as I do. lol I had to get the 4 year old I have now because the older one was raised with the one as pups, and she was grieving so much I thought we were gonna lose her too. Once we brought home the puppy, she perked back up and was eating as before. I love my fur babies. They are my life, and people say they are so spoiled. lol, that's ok they are my babies.
We have a 6 pound, one-eyed Chihuahua. She is so sweet and gets along with the rest of our animals - 1 cat and 2 Pomeranians. She's very friendly - for the most part. We discovered she's not too fond of younger children when my son's girlfriend brought her little niece over. (Of course it didn't help that the niece was squealing and chasing after her.) She also thinks she's a lot tougher than she is. She instigates trouble with our neighbor's dogs, who are PIT BULLS! I'm not sure if she realizes that's who she's barking at!! Lucky for her, they are nice Pit Bulls. Also, my Chihuahua prefers to be naked. :)

As a chihuahua owner my tip would be to let other owners know to always use a body harness when taking out for walks instead of a collar because they are prone to tracheae collapse. This way when they pull back it doesn’t put pressure on their delicate little throats.
Thank you.
Dipense, I've got little and big chis they got never any problems with collars ...the never pulled on the leasch!
My 12 year old Chihuahua has severe tracheal collapse.
Can't have surgery because doctors say he is old.
Really sad when he was young we used a collar
it's nice to meet you thanks a LOT for caring SO MUCH and for this COMPLETELY useful advice
I had trouble finding harnesses that they couldn't slide out if I pulled back. Then out they would go cause they didn't want to stop

Your pup is lucky to have such a great owner. :) I hope you end up with lots of adventures together!
My Chihuahua absolutely defies most of these. He's not yappy or snappy. He's very friendly with ppl especially children.
So is mine but he's only 3.
Mine too, just loves people, vet says she's good for a chihuahua I take it it's a compliment
Mine also.Hes so friendly.Dosent bark and is not mean in any way!
Mine too!
That was my Marley. She loved everyone and went everywhere with me, she was my emotional support fur baby
Hummingbirds of the dog world! I love it!!!🥰😘🥰

Thank you. You and yours have a very Happy Thanksgiving 🦃.😊
I've had 2 Chis that have crossed the 🌈 bridge. I'm picking up my new Chi Baby in 3 weeks. I love this breed 💙.
Had them all my life. Loyal till the end. Miss all my kiddos. RIP
He's the most wonderful little friend I've ever had or could ever imagine!
I love my boy Gizmo, he’s my best friend and totally changed my opinion on small dogs!! He really is like a little person and loves to do everything with me as long as we’re together!!
I can't believe nothing was mentioned about how Chihuahua was like to burrow under blankets and things to keep warm and feel safe that is there like number one favorite thing in the world and not one mention about it
True
So true.
From 1 chihuahua parent to another I love the burrowing when she burrows next to me like on the couch or under the bedding.
Boy did you hit the nail right on the head! As the Mom to 3 Chihuahuas, I see EVERYTHING you spoke of! But you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way! They're my children AND my best friends. Who needs people when you have Chihuahuas?!?!
Who needs people when you have any dog?
ANY DOG MAKES A GOOD DOG IF TREATED WITH LOVE AND RESPECT
My deer chihuahua Gizmo is so beautiful & doesn't leave my side. He's my lickle friend with lots of love to give & massive personality he makes me smile everyday wonderful character amazing dog🥰
My little boy Bubba is a mamas boy too. He really dislikes clothes though lol.
I had several Chihuahuas. And everything sounds the same controlling unconditional love sensitive, loyal, lovable and reaction loyally to my character. 17 years of happiness love and understanding my Chihuahuas a very beautiful ❤️ experience.
I have had a cockapoo, 3 chihuahuas and now have a chihuahua mix. I have loved all of my fur babies and still do, even if they are in heaven!😊
I was only just reading yesterday that a dog doesn’t forget it’s owner.. even after so many years with a new owner.
😢 Dogs love and loyalty never ceases to amaze me. The more years I have with my dogs. The more I want to be with them over ppl and even family. They're like angels to me ❤
🥺💔
My chihuahua loves me and my mom but my mom was like I think goofy little pup adores you more xuz she with you more and is sad when i aint around and I know it's hard for the dogs when their human goes especially when they're the type to bond closely with their human
I've had many Chuhuahuas over the past 30 years and currently have two. I love this breed and find them very loving and affectionate.
This is our first Chihuahua. Can you please tell me how to make them stop shedding?
❤ He is the love of my life pure love ! He lets me know when my phone's ringing or someome is at my door. Other people love him tool
I’ve never known such heartbreak losing my Tina. A wonderful little lady chihuahua. She’s taken my heart when she had to leave me. I’ll never get over losing her. She was the most loyal companion I’ve ever had xx 💔💔
I feel for you with your loss. My little Tony passed 6 years ago and not a day goes by that I don't think of him.
My Andy passed last December I miss him so much
I’m so sorry for your loss..
R.I.P my little buddy ill see you at the Rainbow Bridge when the time comes 😢,❤
sorry for your loss. :(
Our chihuahua is a great singer. She loves vocalizing and gets upset if we don't "sing" with her often enough. It's adorable.
I couldn't live without my little guy! What an absolute angel!!!
My chihuahua HATES clothes!
She is queen of the house, and we all love her so much!
There is no more loving dog than a Chi ! My Chi Blob is the most loving dog I’ve ever had.
"Blob" oh no, that is just to damn cute 😂
😂Blob what a fabulous name ❤
I had a short apple head chihuahua for 16 years, an Italian Greyhoud for 18 years. I now have a "street" chihuaha that was rescued from starvation. it looks like a black and tan min-pin. it is the most loving floppy dog-- I'd say something like a Ragdoll cat when it is sitting in my lap. It is on the larger size, sixteen to eighteen pounds-- so not one of these tiny doggies. Love it. Cutest ever. Needs a bath now though!
We've had 3 chihuahuas. One lived to be 18 n one was 17. The one we have now is 6. Can't help but love them!
A 7year chihuahua owner I would say you gave a perfect description of my dog. Point on at every description.
That’s awesome! Soaking up the rays, looks like Tiggers happy 😃
I have 6 chihuahuas omg I love love love them, they keep me on my toes, they show so much love. I wish I could have more but I am so happy with the babies I have.
We love our three Chihuahuas ❤️ ♥️ 💖
My Bella is the sweetest little dog I would ever want. She is an amazing little sweetheart she loves to get attention from strangers. She can get to you an show you love. She gets along with everything. I got her out of the animal shelter an she is the same from the day I got her. My precious little girl
My little chihuahua is the most caring, adorable little thing. She loves cuddling with me, she loves to play too. I love her so much
Absolutely on point! My chiweenie, Joey, turned 20 years old last month, my best buddy ever! You don't adopt them, you're married to them 😆😁
❤️my chiweenie Odie, he’s the best
You are right I love mine so much
Exactly right
wow, I hope my chiweenie to live that long.
My Joey passed away a week before Christmas 😢 He was only 5 yrs old with a bad heart condition, it still hurts so much.😭
Just be careful that your garden is fully fenced, no tiny gaps for small dogs to squeeze through.
I have a chihuahua mix he is the most loving dog I ever had and it’s true he’s with me all the time! I love him!!
CHIHUAHUAS .. ARE THE BEST DOGS .. IN THE WORLD! IN EVERY WAY! 🩷 💐 🌸 💮 🪷 🌹 🌺 🌷
Yes, they are excellent friends and pets. Loyal to the bone.💕
Long or short nails are not a breed thing tho, it only depends on consistency of trimming them
Please find someone who can properly care for your dog or educate yourself.
She's probably a very loving dog owner after all she DID adopt him and I'm pretty sure she didn't adopt him to be some neglectful and irresponsible dog owner!! critique your words before critiquing a dog owner who apparently aren't as intelligent about dog nails as you are lol
I think you should apologize for being such a harsh and hard individual towards her!
@@woogiebaughman2495 : BRUSH HAIR EVERYDAY. ASK UR' VET TOO.
Tip for single owner, have two of them, it helps easily with the barking and leaving them at home. Having a play mate makes them happy independently
Thank you 🤗 was thinking about getting one myself. How bad is the barking? Is shedding a problem?
@@MsTruthhurts007 I HABE A LONG-HAIRED ONE. HE NEEDS TO BE BRUSHED & COMBED ONCE A WEEK.
Our deer head has never been left alone more than a half hour and she’s the best very smart
I would be lost without my little girl love her to bits
My chihuahua/poodle trained me. Smart smart smart. Tell them once and they’ll do it and never forget. Amazing dogs.
My Chihuahua is old and blind. I love her and take good care of Tinkerbell.
My baby boy is a Chihuahua and he's the sweetest boy ever.
Love my chi 15yrs in Nov.2023
Of course they are great dogs!! I've learned a lot about myself when I was blessed with my beautiful companion. She has changed my life, so grateful.
I do want to get her a brother - they need peers 🥰
one of mine has had a 3-4 grade murmur for years
Thank you for rescuing the little chihuahua they are very special and need lots o love.
My heart goes out to you and sweet little Smokie 😔
Thank you for the freeze dried hearts recommendation!!! I'm always looking for ways to improve my little one's health. Her heart murmur has now become congestive heart failure... 🥺
My dog is a Pom-Chi half Pomeranian and Chihuahua and barks and barks. He’s very active and needs activity he’s already 10 years old. Loves everyone.🐕
@ yes I had one for 17 years. I sure miss her. She was half mane coon.
I have a chihuahua she's the best animal that ive ever owned. Shes really helps with my depression.
Chihuahuas are gifts from God.
And cockroaches and bed bugs are also gifts from God. I love Chihuahuas. Why did you have to bring God into this?
I looove my little rescue chi❤
He's a sweetheart...a velcro sweetheart 💕
We’ve had 5. They’re the best!💕
Apple head long coat owner here. Such an unbelieable good match from start to.. Now. An amazing breed.
Shame on the girlfriend for allowing the niece to chase her and squeal at her. That is your dog's home, and the child should have been contained.
Ive had Chihuahuas with young boys never a problem i immediately taught them how to believe my dogs loved them
My babies act up and so playful when I crawl out of bed and began to immediately get excited about what's in store for their day!!.
My Lexi is 3 and hate to Ware cloth but our cookie is 11 and very petit love everything that keep him warm.
i have a two pound manchester chihuahua mimi shes 12 had since birth my best freind love her❤
