- In this Harley installs front Metalcloak fenders Starting off he explains we’re bolt locations are and walks you through what the product looks like the Metalcloaks are built with high-quality material and have an exceptional finish. Though I do not show you guys how to fully install all the parts in the engine bay it is very easy to get a grasp just by removing all the parts and zip ties the reinstall it is very easy,Install time took me about a total of four hours. And the only issue I had what’s the reinstall of the Metalcloaks is the washer fluid tank which is referenced in another video besides that everything goes and it’s placement of where it is in the stock area. If you enjoyed this video please comment, like and subscribe Thank you.

Here’s a video that we failed to put up. Little late (actually a lot late) but still some useful info in there.
Those fenders Looks súper cool in your tj
That’s where I installed my ARB twin compressor. I cut the top of the bracket off and replaced with a solid base plate piece with just 4 holes. 9:35
Looking great 👍
Ok ok ok
They really look fantastic
HOWEVER it really looks like a PITA to remove the old & install the new
When I get mine I’m going with the rub rail only 👍 no flair at all
Love the look of em plus that way ya only gotta worry bout where the tire is and not clearance for the fender when in the rocks
Looks great, excellent video. I’m wanting to do this to mine.
Appreciate it.
they (have) looked great! Also noticed the trailer....and subbed on that channel
Thank You. I wish we could only have one channel and put all of it together but I’ve been advised many times to not do that. Fact is most Jeep people are about the same and most likely would watch both. Regardless it’s great to have you over there also. Just to be clear (That’s Work Time) over there😀.
Really sick
Appreciate it.
Looks good
Sarge… thanks for the comment but we’re closing this channel. Please visit “Campbell Built” channel for our new content. Thanks
Sweet looking TJ!!! I got an '03 Rubicon that I'm about to start restoring and yours is very close to how I'd like it to turn out. Was gonna replace with stock fenders, but I'm diggin' the Metal Cloak look. What rims are they, and are they bead lock?
Again, very nice jeep!✌🏻️
What kind of wheels? Looking good
My TJ is close to that and after seeing yours, I pulled the trigger and bought the same set.
What size lift and tires are you running?
Love the look and fit and finish of those fenders. Although, I would be a little concerned in PA with inspections and harassment from 5-0 with that much tire reveal. Not that there aren't a ton of people in PA running with tires poking out of fenders. I would probably go with one of the wider sets. Any consideration for a snorkle down the line, and do you think one would be compatible with these fenders?
Metal Cloak actually asked what state when ordering. They said PA was the worst and that several individuals had to reorder the flares to get by the police and the inspections. No on the snorkel but it should work though.
I was wondering if you made a video for these fenders. I'm thinking about them for my Lj
Harley really likes them. We met up with a guy that had a set on a red LJ that were paint matched. That looked pretty excellent.
Looks great. What brand wheels are those? Thank you for the video
We’ve moved our channel to “Campbell Built”
Looks great! Think these fenders would clear 33’s on a 2.5 inch lift? Maybe even skinny 35’s?
I believe they would.
Best looking fenders.... just having trouble pulling the trigger on the $1500. Know of any deals out there?
Watch your Holidays, get on MetalCloaks email because they have sales quite often.
Are these a 4in flares or 6in flares
Please post links to everthing you used for the front fenders or parts numbers. Metalcloak's website is a little confusing on what is needed to do the complete job like you did.
I would call them. Their great to speak with and you will get everything you need. Then of course wait because Metal Cloak runs a sale almost every holiday.
What did you use for frame coating?
Are you happy with the MetalCloack system? The way they designed everything, you almost have to get all there system..
Yes most of it needs to be bought. Their pretty good. We’ve moved our new Jeep TJ content to “Campbell Built”
I painted the inner fender liner black on Botha sides. Sometimes, I think I’d would rather have not done that.
We almost painted them. Not sure if it’s Harleys rims that match why we like them so much but we’ve seen them on others that we thought they needed painted.
@@RubiKidd06 no rust issues? That’s the only thing I worry about with them being so expensive
My question not on the flares but that bug guard you got on the hood and I know y'all drive the jeeps quiet a bit with that on the tj you get alot of bugs on that windshield I don't have one on mine and when I drive mine it seems like all the bugs attract to the front windshield constantly cleaning it
It works fantastic. We’re normally not the type of guys that put small add ons like this but it total works. I actually want one on the Sahara but Harley would rather the Jeeps look a little different. His has a decent air gap behind it so your not going to be worrying about paint wear. Good question.
@@RubiKidd06 yeah I was just curious about that though my wife has a dodge journey and she has one on her vehicle and the front windshield typically is the cleanest thing on the vehicle yeah get you one for your jeep there is a big difference between both jeeps
What brand is the bug deflector?
@@MR-mz6cy I’ll take a look when I can
Have you flexed it out with the new fenders?
Metal Cloak claims 37s with 3 inches. Other people say that is only if you are mall crawling as it severely hampers up travel.
I can’t get a straight answer as there are a myriad of opinions.
The back is where your going to run into problems with 37s with up travel. We’re all about wanting decent flex with our Jeeps. I have a video that will be coming out in a day or two and it’s going to be comparing the Yokohama‘s against Toyo‘s. In that video you will see Harley‘s jeep flexed so that would be worthwhile you watching it. Perfect timing for that question. Also which 37? Some of the 37‘s barely measure over 36 inches. Such as a BFgoodrich KO2 which compared to our true 35’s are about the same. Definitely not talking you out of 37’s though.
@@RubiKidd06 yea, I know there are a lot of variables to consider. I will look for the next video.
@@zacharyelias4643 Can’t say when it will go up. We have some trans videos that are next. Maybe this weekend though.
That should be a vacuum box, not a fuse box. At least that’s what it is on my 2004 TJ SE. 6:17
Could have been, most likely it was an air box. Surprisingly the Rubicon has quite a few differences from the other trim levels.
So are you running a 3 inch lift?
👍
How much inches lift you got on your rig.
3 on one 4 1/2 on another … were no longer uploading to this channel please sub over at “Campbell Built” for our new content. Thanks
For the money, I’m not all that impressed with the front fender kit. There is absolutely no new hardware to mount the fender kit to the Jeep. That still irritates me. I bought mine in 2018.
They didn’t fit as well as we had hoped at first. Lots of bending, twisting and fitting we final got what we believe is a pretty good fit.
