- This has to be one of the scariest videos for League Of Legends I've ever watched. Kindred and Fiddlesticks are just made different. From the Depiction of Death to the Ancient Fear, I just can't get over how well made these champs are and their voice lines. This video left me scared asf, NO LIE!!!!

The most interesting thing about Fiddle is when you see the guy who voices him and realize not a single tool or program was used to do this voice. The man did all of it himself.

To be fair there was SLIGHT use of voice modulation (namely reverb and a bit of synth work) but the real MEAT of the voice is aaaaaall him

Fiddlesticks has this metalic voice because he's a scarecrow, so he doesn't have vocal cords, instead he use his metalic skeleton to make his voice

The lines you hear are also the last word or sounds of people he has hunted as well as major tragedies that have become known too the people of Runeterra. "Fiddle-sticks, First of Ten" There are supposably ten major demons loose in Runeterra, Fiddle sticks being the first and oldest. In his voice lines he calls only the demons by JUST there names, for ex "Nocturne, Tahm Kench, Evelynn". There is a lot of lore around him but I'm not too caught up on it. He is partially sealed if I remember correctly, and I think Zoe plays a roll in that some how... though I can't remember exactly how.

The voice actor for fiddlesticks trained his voice for a long time, its his natural voice without use of much computer.

It should be noted that the “training” was not in order to do the voice-anyone can replicate the voice easily, just vocalize while inhaling as opposed to exhaling like usual. The training was in order to do it for long sessions without hurting his vocal cords.

Kindred are like the grim reaper. They symbolize violent death (wolf) who run from death. And peaceful death (lamb) who accept it
fiddlesticks repeats the last thing his victims says, that's why in the basic attack voice lines he says stuff like help me or it's in the house.
Raum is Swain's demon, he also has good voice lines btw. Fiddlesticks is the first of the ten demons as he says in one voice line.

Yeah fiddlesticks is the scariest thing in gaming to me. When he kills a victim he mimics their voice. And also knows people's biggest fears/and darkest secrets and uses that to scare them before he kills them. He feeds off of fear the more the better. Another thing he copies the last thing his victims say before they die.

fiddle prays on people fears, he knows what they fear and uses that against them, also since he is so ancient his voice is put together from last screams of those he killed per say he himself does not have a voice
So basically in the lore he doesn't real know how to "speak", he just makes the sounds of persons he kills

That is one of the reasons why Jinx gone mad. What she did on Arcane as a child haunts her. It's either her other friends, or it's Vi she imagined blaming her.

What interesting about Fiddlesticks is that the scarecrow isn’t “them” it’s what in the cage that the demon is controlling the scarecrow, as you could see in the splash art there are eyes in the cage those are the one controlling the scarecrow

Fiddlesticks is quite scary considering he's the 'first of ten' primal demons. And I love how he interacts with other demons, just says their name (nocturne, evelynn, tahm kench..). He feeds off fear and I think he represents fear as a whole, he knows the deepest and scariest fears of those he encounters. He also mimics the last words of his victims (the scarecrow, it's alive! Run! It's in the house!) and that explain his pig/horse noises, probably they encountered him in a field somewhere and he killed them
Like someone said, the metal in the voice is caused by actual metal parts of his scarecrow body, the demon himself sits in the metal ribcage of said body. And fun fact, when he's 'recalling' he screams 'what is that? What is that?' - when he recalls with his original skin, the scarecrow body contorts and twists and the demon comes out of him, leaving the scarecrow lying lifeless. (he has overall sick animations for everything, except the party time skin, which are just hilarious)
When hes standing he twisting and moving sooo creepy, and why he says just few words... He was summoned and traped in some wizards tower for i think a thousend years so he cant learn how people live walking aaaand talking
@@Zebrix10 yeah but he uses it as an advantage because it puts him into the uncanny valley, which is the most unbearable shit if you do it well. when you see him you know he isnt human and just should be a normal scarecrow but he is just too alive for comfort. with the combination of him knowing your fear and using it against you is just disgustingly scary. fiddle is basically like pennywise but executed better at least imo
Another fun fact is that, an additional reason he calls out demons names (including the one housed inside swain) is because in many folklores, its a secret knowledge that if you know a demons true name you can use it to banish or control them. (though I don't know the logistics of if this is right for the league universe since it seems most of the "demonic" entities just use their true names going by how fiddlesticks calls them?)
@@redeveer6647 that is actually a nice touch, though i don’t think you can banish league demons by calling them their true name, fiddle is the strongest one of them and their „leader“. So he could call them by their names because his voice alone is enough to make them tremble in fear, but we probably will never know
For me Kindred and Jhin have the best voice lines in League of Legends.

Most of fiddlestick's voice lines is stuff he has heard others say, mostly when they are sad or scared! In lore he can mimic a person in distress to lure others, so he can kill them

Fiddlesticks is the representation of the worst fears and guilt of the champions, he knows everything about everyone and feeds on the paranoia and fears of his victims, so his voice lines are directly attacking those paranoia and fears as for example with jinx to tell him "guilty" or with miss fortune to replicate what his parents said or what gangplank said when the above mentioned killed his parents
Fun fact fiddlesticks is second strongest being with sol at the same place because he is the first demon ever created
And he was sealed long time ago even the gods who fear him forgot he was ever created at the first place and for some reason he really hate raum (swain demon) demon of secrets

Best part fiddle sticks is mimicking events that occur or have a traumatic event that invokes FEAR.
I love the fact that you can hear various animal noises in Fiddle's lines.
It show how Fiddlesticks feeds off that true, primal Fear, the Fear present in all living things.
The Fear that lies in the deepest recesses of your ancient, reptile brain. That collective instinct borne from millions of years worth of ancestors, from the humble first cells to the earliest man.
It is the Fear of unknown, skittering shapes in the darkness. Of sharp, glistening fangs and the hungry yellow eyes following behind you. The snapping of a branch, the pulsing of your heart, the frigid trickle of sweat down your spine. It is the raised hairs at the back of your neck, and the grating, terrible realization that you are no longer alone.
It is the Fear of being Prey.
In the "Fidlesticks fear of man, fidlesticks first ôf ten" Fidle is referencing his 9 brothers and sisters and each one of them fead on a primal emotion for fidlesticks it's fear but ther is his brother Ashlash that's coming to the game and who feads on Joy.
I know right! Kindred and Fiddlesticks literally has the best lines in League.

Yea, though it might not be as interesting as the League itself, its splash arts, interactions and story lines can be so interesting.
Honestly, Kindred's voicelines are honestly at the same time terrifying and soothing. Like, yeah, it's something that happens, but the line about the only true death being not living is honestly quite inspiring, because it's honestly true, so many people are so afraid of death, that live in a way that they don't take any risk, too scared of death to even move, causing that when death inevitably comes, they are forgotten, and that's something that Kindred knows too well, because in Runeterra, the way death aspects die are by being forgotten, for example, there's a card in Legends of Runeterra (the card game from LoL), which is called the fading icon, and in his voicelines, he is scared to death about being forgotten, because the ones that are forgotten are hunted by another creature, the Etherfiend, which hunts spirits and aspects of death who are forgotten, Kindred's wolf wanting to hunt the fading icon down himself, and the lamb reminding him of the cycle, that this one is not their prey, but the etherfiend's prey. In general, the package from Kindred in that game is really interesting from a lore perspective since it shows what death is in that world, and it's honestly quite fascinating

About Fiddlesticks: Fisdlesticks is not the scarecrow, it is the ancient demon living inside of him wich is actually the personification of fear and the oldest being in the universe arround League of Legends because it existed before time. it tells everything it sees their biggest traume and teases them with it

I know this comment is a bit late, but I always did love idea of the Kindred. It mentioned the story about the pale man who split themselves in two, and that's what they are. They are two parts of a whole. This is also shown in the fact that they are each missing senses, lamb being blind, while wolf is deaf, and I also believe lamb can't actually speak except to wolf through their connection. Lamb has memory but no emotion, and wolf has emotion, but no memory, hence interactions where lamb tells the story of their creation and wolf reacts so solemnly and emotionally to it, and why lamb asks him to explain sadness, as she's never felt it.

Fiddle's voice lines are mostly taunts to champions fears or trama's and also the last words of his victims, "Open the door" "Your not real" etc. All last words. He also calls att the demons by their names, tahm kench, nocturn, evelynn, and lastly swains demon Raum.
Kind of funny that some random guy immediately got bodied after saying "Just a scarecrow." That's like someone saying "Its just the wind." before getting shanked by Jason.
You might have been told already, but when FS says just a name, he is calling out another demon. He has no way to scare another of his kind, so he is just like "Sup?" and moves on. lol
Knowing Fiddlesticks' lore. Every kill he gets, he imitates their last words. Or their fears.
So, i would go back and re-listen to many of fiddlestick’s supposedly “non verbal” lines, they are often actually phrases spoken with dying breath, like someone who has had their throat cut, their lungs pierced, their mouth full of blood, or some other horrible end. Almost all of them are a secret phrase. We are fairly sure that FS is the first “Creator” aka the 10th creator, the one that the 9 creators did everything they could to hide from existence. “In the beginning there was fear”, and thats what he is. The first fear and pain that sparked the twisted world they lived in. He created the nightmares, the other gods tried to overcome them. The demons are mere shadows of that which he created. What we see in game is but mere motes of his essence, still not fully in this realm, but slowly, inexorably, making his way into the hearts and minds of every person still in the realms, regaining what once was his.
As for who plays fiddlesticks, I do, and I love playing him, that's a very unique play style that is very fun to play

What's scared me the most about fiddlesticks, is his voiceline has an eerie story on every part..
The attack voiceline, the long run voiceline, is a story when he hunt down preys..

So, fiddlesticks has two "ways" of speaking. Either repeating past victims last words, or conjuring up someone's worst fears/traumas. (Stuff like "don't leave me" and "it's in the house" for the former, and "Hide Sarah, Hide" for the latter)
Something interesting is when Fiddlesticks meets the Kindred, he calls them "grey man." Because kindred was once one, and they split "so he would always have a friend." So the Kindred's worst feat is being alone again.
Also, fiddlesticks saying "Lamb, tell me a story" when he kills them is heartbreaking when you think about it. Wolf just wanted to hear the story one last time, and because that was their last words, we know that lamb couldn't respond.
The thing with Kindred is that they ARE death. The concept of Death given form. When they talked about the pale man, that was their earlier form, which they broke into two halves to spend eternity together.
The Lamb has a bow and arrow, and is kind and gentle, which shows the gentle slide into death at old age, and for those that accept death it is painless and fast.
The Wolf on the other hand symbolises the death for those that fight it and die of unnatural causes. It comes for those that are unprepared and unwilling to join them.
Fiddlesticks quotes are what the targets fear/regret most.
Kindred is interesting, because Wolf is the one who shreds apart the ones who flee, yet he's the one with emotions. And Lamb is the one without emotions, who ends the ones who accept their death painlessly.
That is truly interesting.
BTW Fiddle has an awesome suprise party skin with insane clown jokes (because his skin is a scary clown). I recommend the voicelines too. They are very funny / creepy.
Oh and ty for reacting to my fav champion Kindred. I love how wolf and lamb are like ying and yang ^^
The music lends itself to this in such a great way as to evoke even more emotion from these lines

Fiddlestics is the original demon, is the fear itself, the own concept of the fear materialized in the physical world.
He isnt even the scarecrow, instead he is the black mess you can see on the cage (and his name isnt even fiddlestics, thats just the name the humans put him).
The thing is that he is the most ancient and powerfull demon, so when he finds another demon, he tells them their real names and the emotion they take their powers (as a signal of superiority since he is really superior to all of them)
Think about this, Major demons like Raum (who is btw the first descendant of fiddlestics) are in the level of power of champions like ryze, volibear, azir , aatrox pantheon etc…
Fiddlestics and his 9 brothers are in the level of celestials (nearly to aurelion sol)
Also, as you probably noticed he is based on “IT” (stephen king)
And he has his same habilities. :p
Another curious fact is that Fiddlestics and Raum are the only demons with a summoning-ritual circle (the fiddlestics one is an obvious reference to the seal of silent hill btw) XD
Kindred is the force of nature of death, the en of everything, even the world itself will met them and when theres nothing there, they're the last hunt
A good way in thinking of kindred and their voice lines, is the Lamb understands emotion but cant feel them, where as wolf feels emotion but cant understand them.

the thing with fiddlesticks is that he knows your depest fears, so he talks in a way that show those fears, in jinx case, her bigest fear is that it was all her fault, then fiddle goes: "jinx its all your fault, its all your fault". in order to feed her fear. it can also talk as someone who is alredy dead, as in nunu case, he talks as if empersonathing nunus mother "im alwas here. my. little. hero." as if trying to lure nunu into danger. a very scary champ fiddlesticks. even in his lore, it was said, that he was the strongest of 9 demons, it was at another level of strengh and since they couldnt defeat it they "summoner asosiaton" decided to emprison him inside the summoners rift, it is said that the champions figthing in the summoner rift are not concious of every battle becuse since there are so many per day, and much of them are against friends it could drive them mad, but not fiddlesticks, fiddlesticks its the only champion that is concious of every battle he participates in, as a kind of torture and punishement for all the lives it has taken, but the risk of it scaping the rift is high.
for to know fiddle sticks know everybodys fears and attack them with it. Thats why basicaly with vayne he says "give us a smile", cuz it is what her parents always said, when she was small (her parrents were killed by evelin).

Fiddlesticks is the primordial demon of fear and also the first of ten demons in Runeterra like Evelynn (Agony) Nocturne (Nightmare) Tahm Kench (Greed) and others, every region in Runeterra knows Fiddlesticks and you can judge it by its skins.
When Fiddlesticks meets a demon in the game, it says their name and what they represents and when Fiddlesticks attacks or kills heros it says their biggest fear, regrets and guilt based in their lore.
In addition, Fiddlesticks is really scary hero who takes a form of a scarecrow because it represents fear to everyone, not just the crows EVERYONE!!! 👻

Fiddlestick is a high rank demon and he uses people's fear against them, another point is he calls other demons by their names and what they stand for... some of the noises he makes are of his victims, their last words or gasps, struggling to breathe etc

I know there's been other comments on Fiddlesticks, but I just love talking about this champion, so I'll try to condense all of the important things here.
Fiddlesticks is the bundle of eyes inside the little cage on the scarecrow's chest, not the scarecrow itself. It's the primal manifestation of fear and its lore describes it as "a demon before demons were known", making it the first demon to every exist. Demons in Runeterra feed off of a specific emotion, which causes them to slowly grow stronger, Fiddle's emotion being fear. Fiddlesticks doesn't really have a voice of its own (and it's questionable whether or not it even has a mind of its own). The frightening voice lines it has are it mimicking the voices of those it hears and kills. So Fiddlesticks saying things like "Jinx, all your fault! All your fault!" doesn't necessarily mean he was there- it means that he heard someone tell Jinx it was all her fault.
Fiddlesticks is inside of this scarecrow body because the demon is trying to appear human. Obviously, it's not succeeding very well, but it doesn't know that. It's learned that by pretending to be a scarecrow, it makes it easier to feast on fear. In Fiddlestick's cinematic, it has many arms sprout out of its body when it's decided to finally attack a victim. This is because at that point, Fiddlesticks doesn't have any reason to hide anymore, and is using any means necessary to get to it's victim as fast as possible. (it probably creates more fear to feast on as well, a scarecrow slowly lumbering towards you isn't nearly as scary as one growing limbs and running at you like a spider).
It's also a possibility fiddlesticks has different puppets across runeterra which is why some characters claim to have seen a scarecrow but different
Fiddlesticks is said to be as old as Aurelion Sol, “born in the first terrible scream of creation”.
He, or it, is a demon of fear incarnate, so frightening that even animals get nervous when his name is whispered.
Kindred specifically an ADC jungler. You can play her as a standard ADC but they work much much much better as a jungler.

So, the thing with Fiddlesticks is that it has no voice of its own. All of its voice lines are words either stolen from his victims' pasts, or directly from those he has killed.
The fact that the voice actor of fiddlesticks did not use a single tool or program was used to do his voice is just 😳

Fiddlesticks is the demon primal aspect of fear that was created at the beginning of the universe, so he calls other demons their names, but he also knows what someone is most afraid of in their lore something about listening through the crows he has, I also think it's still connected to its "son" Raum and other crows since that is the form it takes most often.
Lamb and Wolf, The Kindred, are the embodiment of death on Runetera. They represent the two different aspects of how people die. If you accept your death and don't run, you are given the Lamb's swift arrow, a mercifully death. If you flee from your death, then Wolf will chase you down and you will meet a brutal and violent death. Because they are reapers of life, they are shunned as well. But they are forever together, so that neither becomes lonely.

Mathew Mercer went hard for wolfs voice acting man, and Fiddlesticks can only imitate things he hears by the way, so everything he's saying is either from his victims or things he's personally been there for, all of his in game skins are depictions of how the different places of the world see him too.
I still want more lore on Fiddlesticks because it clear something important is there since he is older and more powerful than all the other demons in the game.

Kindred is one of the death presentations in the world of League of Legends, but Fiddle (Fiddlesticks) is a demon of fear (fun fact this is most powerfull demon in League of Legends world).I could explain all the quotes from both characters, but not many people would read such a comment due to its length
So basically fiddlesticks is a demon who don't have a physical structure so he just use the scarecrow as a vessel so if you see his recall animation you will see that the red core get out of that metallic scarecrow while the scarecrow itself struggle like when the soul leave the buddy which look painful to death also he is the first demon and one of the first creatures to roam runterra one of the best lines he have is when he mimic Evelyn voice line when he counters vayne ( vayne give us a smile ) because eve killed vayne parents and then when vayne saw eve standing above her parents buddy she said to her vayne give us a smile....
So kindred is one of many deaths they are just the most known and are the first death death of the body but there is the ethrfiend when a person is truly gone and forgotten the he comes for your second death

Lamb & Wolf: Kindred are my favorite aesthetic in all the personifications of Death. Splitting himself in two from the loneliness, becoming the huntress that gives a peaceful end to those that accept them and the wolf that chases those that flee for a violent end.
TBH, Most of Fiddlestick's Lines are just along the lines of "AAAEERRRRAAAGGGHH" and various animal noises
