God this show had so many good quotes. "Lie to them, Jack. If you do half as well as you lie to yourself, they'll believe you." Great confidence and deep burn all in one.
Its crazy that this is the first scene between them since the season premiere, when beforehand they were at each others side from the start of the series
It’s not, they had a couple scenes like that up to this point, but the scenes where it was mostly just the two of them are some of the highlights of the show
Locke could just easily explain why he is such a believer. "Well jack, before the crash i was paralyzed. After the crash i was able to walk. A few days later i saw the monster, which was a cloud of black smoke which showed me a bright light.". All these things would tell me the island is special
Jack was lying to himself, even here. When Ben appears he's curious about what they're doing or plan to do. Ben was right, Jack had nothing to return to off Island.
Yeah but tbh jack had reason to pull the trigger. I mean Locke just fucking killed the girl with zero hesitation or guilt. It seems like very not Locke like behavior
@@akshaynatu6568 Well I still doubt that he had to kill her. But even if he had to, it's more his behaivour that troubles me. He's a decent guy and just fucking killed a 20 year old without feeling even a little bad about it. And from Jacks point of view it absolutely makes sense that he doesn't see John as a good guy.
@@johannesfuchs2330 Yeah, I definitely would have felt a lot worse about it. But I still would have done it. And I also agree with John that leaving the island is a big mistake. How the hell can you just SETTLE back into a normal, boring, routine life of work and bills and chores and screaming kids after spending so much time on an island where incredible supernatural things happen??!? I wouldn't be able to do it. The knowledge would indeed eat me alive. I wouldn't be able to work and function as an adult, I'd always be thinking about the magic island and all its wondrous secrets.
@@akshaynatu6568 Yeah absolutely. John is right about pretty much everything. Pissed me off, that they killed him because he captured the spirit of the island very good. It's just the killing-Naomi-and-give-zero-fucks that is very weird. I can understand Jacks feelings about it way better than Johns because, again, he doesn't care.

Yeah, amazing delivery

They only had 2 scenes together in Season 3 as well

"It's an island, John. No one needs to protect it." Great foreshadowing in that line by Jack.
Lol Sawyer's face when he tries one and subtly agrees that they were better than expected
Locke was right, later jack was like we have to go back haha
This was the last time Jack saw John alive. Every Jack-Locke interaction after this is the MiB. Very sad.
U mean the last time on the Island. They also met in LA at Jack's hospital after John left the Island.
@@artembaranov I actually forgot about that. It was such a short scene lol
@@artembaranov could you please tell which scene is it ? what episode? because i also think it was a sad scene that he saw him last time..
@@gentlelife8415 Sure, here it is. ua-cam.com/video/mLEHsF5p1zg/v-deo.html
its not sad. it actually rocks. mib is the best.
I wish they never killed Locke, even tho the Mib storyline is decent. If they kept real Locke around his story wasn’t finished.
His story was tragic but he was the one who pushed Jack forward to fulfill his destiny.
Maybe they had upside down but Jack has always listened to John. He lied..
This is one of my favorite scenes in Lost
This was the first one on one conversation between them since the second season
3:07 I love how Ben still hobbles from his back surgery.
I may be wrong , but in the show's timeline, it may not have that long since the surgery, so yeah.
@@johngillespie4231 just a few weeks I think

Well Lock turned out to be right on this...)
He was always right. At least majority of the time.
That was such a great parting line by Locke. He knew Jack better than Jack knew himself at this point.

Yeah, I agree. I absolutely love that last look between Jack and Locke at 4:14. Jack just looks so conflicted.
Who did Locke throw a knife into the back of? It's been so long I've forgotten everything!
Naomi, the woman who arrived from the freighter in season three. Locke was correctly saying that they were a threat.

I’m not gone lie after s3 it got kinda crazy. First watch s6 e13 rn.

The girl was working for Widmore, and she would have got them all killed. Locke did a good thing.

John probably saw it as what he's supposed to do. Fate. Nothing more.
You’re gonna have to lie
Was this Locke or mib?
Not MiB of course, it's real Locke.
Lmao
Real Locke. MIB Locke was only after the Ajira crash
Locke was insane, idk why Jack loves him so much in season 6, Locke was right about a few things but he was still a nutcase and a murderer
spoken like someone who missed the main point of the show.
Agree Locke insane person
How exactly was he insane? (Real Locke that is)
