Was your plug for the stator 3 or 4 prong? I’m working on a 78 and no spark at the plug, but the points are sparking, thinking about just rebuilding the stator?
Lol joe. Swing press. Watching this is still tripping me out a little. Don't you wish we kept l the cts we had back in the 90s? I miss my old orange one.
I don’t know about you…but I sure learned a lot from those clapped out bikes back in the day…it would be nice to hold onto everything, but hindsight is always 20/20. What really amazes me is how expensive these bikes have gotten in the last 5 years…I wonder what the new Dax 125 will do to CT prices…also what the Dax will do to the new Monkey…I guess we’ll see soon enough. Old CT70 or new Dax125…I’m going Dax every time
Almost ready for some sweet jumps!
One step at a time. Good rebuild on the stator! 👍🏻
Thanks for the video, like 2Vintage channel, always a learning moment
Right on man…glad you enjoyed!!!

Would be nice if the camera was closer!
Sorry guy…we’ll try harder on the next one
My 78 is 4 prong and I see the CHP kit has 3 prongs
@@ymielmn1 you’ll need to take the neutral wire out of your old harness and add it to the CHP one
@@Jojoandsonsgarage oh wow, this just went over my head, I’m new to this and don’t even know which one is the neutral wire
Oh come on man another cliffhanger come on hoss we want to see you pop wheelies on it
Takes time to wake up a sleeping hawg…but we’ll be crankin soon enough…watch out for CLIBBINS HOSS
