A few more things: -If you play handheld, some of these may be very hard to replicate. Don't let that discourage you though, you can still do some slower drills to help improve aim. -If you use a lower sensitivity, it may also be hard to replicate some of these. But keep in mind that you don't have to do these drills super fast like I am. Getting the motions down matters more than how fast you're doing it. Then once you do the drill a lot, doing it faster will become easier.
Yeah I won't be able to replicate most of these because I have motion controls off Just because if you're on handheld it's a nightmare to control since you're rotating your entire screen instead of just your controller and it's hard to focus when the screen is being moved constantly
I love the squelchers but I find it not worth it to use because then I get in a habit of dodge rolling and I can't play anything besides dualies then :(
Yeah unfortunately I'm not able to do controller cam for exercises like these as I have to sit in a really weird and uncomfortable position to get the right angle. My method for recording my controller is very scuffed (I use my phone) it was just very difficult to do it for a video with this many drills and sync it up properly. It did cross my mind though
Played a lot of Tetras at lower ranks and I've really loved them, unfortunately now that I'm in the S+ lobbies, I've noticed that the Tetras have been getting much much harder to utilize since I'm not yet mechanically proficient. These drills will certainly be helpful and are greatly appreciated! I swapped to Dualie Squelchers for awhile since they're slower and longer range, in an attempt to break some bad habits I picked up with the Tetras, and these drills will similarly assist me with the squelchers but ultimately I wanted to move back to the Tetras eventually because I love their speed. I picked up the Splash o Matic in the meantime for front lining since squelchers are more of a midliner, and I must say that the splash has helped a lot to get my aim on because of their laser accuracy, so I'm hoping that will have helped me with aiming the Tetras in turret mode, too! Time to dust off my Tetras and try again, starting with these drills
After a month of looking for a new main I've decided that blasters were my best weapon. However tho, one of their biggest weakness is their bad spreading ink. With the splatfest coming up, I want to use a different weapon with great ink spread. I'm looking at dark tetra cause I like dualies & it has my fav special. Tho their pretty hard to get good at
Ugh I cannot express my hatred for jumping and shooting, but now that this is my 5th video seen that mentions about this, it looks like it's a sign for me to practise. Hopefully I get better. Good video btw.
I guess this is easier to execute with a controller? I play Splatoon handheld atm and my aim and movements feel so sluggish sometimes. Feels like I'm unable to aim and position myself well. Thank you for the drills I'll add them to the few I've been trying out in the lobby
it becoming muscle memory is why i switch between the moving targets at random because otherwise i just go "oh its this dummy i just aim here" and its not a reaction anymore
You're probably just using it at the wrong times. It's not something you should spam, you use it in mix with other movements to throw off your opponent
One thing I've started doing thanks to videos like these is gradually increasing my motion and stick sensitivity until I find my ceiling. I'm at baby numbers with +1.5 but I suspect +2 is going to be my threshold and I'm honestly ok with that.
@blob when I use it I gauge the distance between me and the enemy to figure out when to blow it up, and when the other team is clumped together I just hope for the best.
for sticks, it increases the speed of the camera movement. for motion on the other hand, the higher or smaller the number the more or less small movements it will detect from your arms, wrists, and hands. motion also increases the camera movement speed.

Thank you for this advices with Dark Tetra!
I play with my team in the next season and now I can train to be a better slayer.
Thank you very much!
Fellow Unicorn Gundam fan I see
Awww yeah 👌 glad someone knew the reference
I love the squelchers but I find it not worth it to use because then I get in a habit of dodge rolling and I can't play anything besides dualies then :(
It would be so helpful to see your controller during these

@@Chase247 do you use pro cr or joy-cons
@@cybero6016 pro
@@Chase247 is using joy con in the grip holder thing diffrent then an actual pro controller?
@@Chase247 my method is weird as well. I sit on my bed with my legs on the staircase and rest my elbows on my knees. I play out of dock
3:41 I always wondered how those dualie squelchers got me from below the ledge…
the music made shooting those dummies so dramatic, i almost feel sad for them! 😆

They are very difficult! But so good once you learn
Same I’m swapping from tri-tringer to dapples. I really love its kit as I can go harass the enemy team near base with it.
If you can aim quickly enough, you can splat literally anyone who is unprotected, they just aren’t fast enough
love the slow-mo lmao very dramatic
Even I struggle sometimes with Dualie Squelchers, thanks for this Chase!
jus picked up dualies to complete all holo stickers and this helped! Apprec#iiiate #iiit gang🐐⬆️
this shit is absolutely fire!!!
Bro was a human aimbot in this video
What is a “flick” exactly is it using the y button or motion controls or stick I’ve been trying to figure this out with little to no luck
It's just when you use motion to turn around really fast

Yeahhh this is kinda meant for pro controller. Some may still be possible handheld though, just at a slower speed

Absolutely insane, thanks, for this amazing content. As many people already mentioned it would be very cool to see your hands while you do yhose
Yeah ill try to do it for the next one, might be hard tho 😭
it becoming muscle memory is why i switch between the moving targets at random because otherwise i just go "oh its this dummy i just aim here" and its not a reaction anymore
starting from different positions in the training room helps not build muscle memory too
I’m learning dualies to be my primary and your play is amazing. I learn a lot watching your content. Thank you
Joycons are just incomparable with their precision and speed, but their range is awful and the motion glitches. Thats why I quit splatoon 2.
you have some of the best splatoon content. this channel better blow up soon
Can we use these drills with stick controlls? I can´t play w motions so I was wondering that

Glad you didn't leave out the vds jump tech! Good video, keep it up!
Um, vds jump tech? What's that?
Man I had the honor of matching against u and we got KO’d 😭🙏
YOUR AIME IS INSANE BRO!!???
Omg the editing is so orgasmic! love the tips chase will defs help me out in the long run, thanks so much!
THHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANKKKKKKKKKKKK YOOOUUUU
I’ve wanted a video like this for so long! Thank you bro!💯🙌🏾
You're welcome!
I got splatted every time I do the squelchers jump tech. Am I doing something wrong? 😢(I’m new to splatoon btw)
You're probably just using it at the wrong times. It's not something you should spam, you use it in mix with other movements to throw off your opponent
You’re right, looking at my replays I also see myself spamming it at everyone I bumped into. Guess I’m just too excited to try this out in battles.
thanks for the tips! and i wanted to ask a question if you may. what dualies would you recommend to someone who mains splattershot?
Splat dualies or dualie squelchers.
@@Chase247 thanks! :)
Thank u for making this video
How do you keep it so that the aiming circles are merged longer mid dodge roll?
Just don't move after dodge rolling
are flicks better done with the right stick or motion? i always try both but i'm never really sure which is more convenient maybe it depends
Yeah it depends but I usually do motion
I think both at the same time for bigger flicks works for me
How do maneuvering and jumping motion work like that and moves ؟؟؟
Watching you track the dummies as you roll is a thing of beauty
I use -1,4 sensitivity and never be able to do 6-dummies sequence :/
The roll once then shoot can be replicated with shooters shooting then move suddenly to the left or right to get I similar drill
“I have 18 drills to show you”
*shows 9 dualie squelches on screen*

Why is this so fucking epic for a dualies tutorial

What is this mnk looking sense!? 🤯
do these work for other weapons?
I address that in the beginning of the video
yeah i missed that, my bad! love ur vids btw@@Chase247
How do you dodge with duelies more then twice my seem to stop after 2 dashes
Only tetra dualies can do more than twice
What music do you use?
Nevermind found it
Do you think Reefslider is a good special?
no not really
It may not be good, but it’s so fun to use.
@@slimefall8563 but everytime I use it I die. And not to be cocky but I don't think its my fault.

What does sensitivity even do?
for sticks, it increases the speed of the camera movement.
for motion on the other hand, the higher or smaller the number the more or less small movements it will detect from your arms, wrists, and hands. motion also increases the camera movement speed.
makes the camera move more for the same amount of controller aiming. basically it moves faster
