Aggressive music is often calming people down, instead of making them more aggressive. This song, and your reaction and feedback to it, showed it pretty well. Of course, it's making people headbang, jump, and feel a certain type of (enthusiastic) energy, but often I can resolve my anger, or stress with heavy music, like Dethrone from Bad Omens for example.
most of the songs off this album are amazing, "Kingdom of cards" "Running In Circles" "If I'm There" "Said & Done" "Mercy" "Careful What you Wish For" "Burning Out" are my personal favorites, and I still really would love to see "Miracle" or "Nowhere to go" from their newest album! Glad to see you're enjoying them for their heavier and more melodic elements!
This bands first album is one of those albums that show that the band came in swinging. It is so good for a beginning album I highly suggest you listen to “Enough, enough now” it has that gritty intensity followed by the melodic calming sound variation that you seem to like from them. 👍
Every time I hear this song, I'm in tears. I have lost 4 close family members in the past 2 years, one to a suicide and what I feel inside has gone beyond pain, beyond anger. I didn't have words for it until I found this song. This song and this video captures exactly how I feel inside. They scream what I feel in a way that I can't.
Fuck yes, so excited you listened to my suggestion on the last video. Can't wait. Edit: it's worth watching the live version in another video, believe it or not his vocals are even lower in the live streamed live version.
My family always said music like this is the reason bad things happen in the world. They said any time I’m mad it’s probably cause of this. I just said music like this is the reason I haven’t done bad things lol keeps my fists from being rated E for Everyone!
Yes! I love that you keep listening to the comment requests!! You have to listen to The Fountain, Glass Houses, Kingdom of Cards, and Careful What You Wish For.... and every single other song by them of course :) And the live version of Dethrone.
2:54 Alex turns into the Chik fil'a Girl ... LMFAO. The Plot in You, Don't Look Away blows this video away... Don't. Look. Away. It's an experience to glue to it.
Yep. It was filmed in the living room of the house they were living in at the time. Along with another music video for another band (as the director of both is a housemate).
I agree you need to listen to some of their live stuff. It's one thing to be impressive on a recording. It's another to hear how damn impressive they are live.
I'd say you definitely have to check out Glass Houses, Mercy, Malice, Broken Youth by Bad Omens, top tier songs by them that showcase all their abilities as artists 🤟🏻🔥
i would love to hear some old songs like “hedonist”, “the worst in me”, or “the letdown”. or could highly reccomend “careful what you wish for-unplugged” as well. their acoustic ones are just as good as their heavy ones.
YESSSS Recommended this one on the first Bad Omens reaction, the track goes hard. One of my fav lifting tracks when I really need to amp myself up. Keep the great vids comin, man!
Alex, this video was shot in Noahs and Jolly's apartment at the time. The director wanted the looks of all of the dirt and grit so they filled the apartment and went at it.. or so it's been told. Glad you've found your vibe with these guys... surprisingly they are without a doubt better LIVE.. it's a whole experience... if you can catch their concrete jungle tour they are on right now... DO IT, you wont be disappointed
also, fun facr, they made this music video in their living room, they blacked it out and brought actual dirt and had the whole set just there in their house for like four days lmao
Alex…. Your reactions are fucken amazing. Watching you watch this music video was the best thing that has happened to me all damn day. It’s hilarious & adorable. I know every word to this song & I am SO happy you have finally listened to this song. Fuck yes. 🤘🏻
Oh my days this song is so good. I can't believe that you've not heard this one yet!!! It's a staple on my playlists. Also Alex please react to Kim Dracula - Make Me Famous......I'm disappointed that you've not covered it and you're in for a treat
Just heard this for the first time here aaaaand gotta be my new favorite bad omens song ive heard thus far immediately added to the playlist and saw architects had a song called Dethroned and while searching it up and i feel like it has similar energy to this one from bad omens wonder if theres something to that song title or ones like it and it being full of aggression and anger and frustration
Ok now, please react to Bad Omens - The grey, this is the kind of songs in which you can appreciate the vocal talent of Noah, and then I recomend you Bad Omens - Nowhere to go. You'll love them.
My workout song! Yes... this is the same Noah lol! Keep it coming with Bad Omens! Lol don't forget the Unplugged album! If you want raw emotions and perfect vocals from Noah, check out the 6 songs from the Unplugged Album!

2:51 😂... Now "The Grey" for something beautiful, or "Nowhere To Go" or "Careful What You Wish For". Or anything by Bad Omens really. Great reaction, Alex.
A song from the same album that I believe is very very underrated is “The Hell I Overcame” the lyrics are VERY interesting and I believe it low-key targets the Amity Affliction and Senses Fail from the beef they had with them at the time.
Seen Bad Omens live with Spiritbox and Underoath back in March. It was probably the best metal concert ive ever been to. Bad Omens was so sick. Im stoked to see them getting th attention they deserve and seeing massive reaction channels like yours get into metalcore music.
Alex my man this song is wayyyyy better to hear LIVE!! I saw them 3 times and it never gets old to hear this absolute BANGER!! You gotta attend to one of their concerts!!!
This was the song that introduced me to these guys and it immediately went to my workout playlist. It’s been a great ride with them since then. One of the best bands out there.
I crowd surfed during Bad Omens' set and got dumped on my feet maybe thirty feet from the stage. I was in the crowd for Limits and another song (I really don't know which one) and heard someone say that it'd get crazy during Dethrone. Knowing how hard Dethrone goes, I made my way back out. I think there was still enough energy at the back to melt my face off. If you can see them live, do it.
So, I continually on the last few videos see everyone commenting that they want you to do a video on "The Grey" and "Concrete Jungle". I think you should do the whole album in its entirety, just like you did with the Electric Cowboy album. "The Death of Piece of Mind" album is a masterpiece designed to be listened to as a whole. All the songs flow together and is more mellow in the beginning and middle, progressively leading you to the intense end (which you already reacted to "Artificial Suicide", which is nearly at the end).
Man, you have to react to the full unplugged album by them, the full album in one video, you gonna love this, it's incredible, beyond perfection maaaaannnnn
If I'm There, Running in Circles, The Fountain, Careful What you Wish for (original and unplugged), Burning Out (original and unplugged) and FERAL are some other great songs by them before the newest album
I was here when he was a "hip hop head" and now he's a fully converted metal head. Good job metal family 🤘
You are more than welcome 😁😁😁
Bad Omens live honestly sounds even better than they already sound. Noah’s vocals are INSANE I’ve seen them live 3 times just this year lol
Notched up twice myself :)
Agreed they are so good live
ugghh,. so jealous
There we go ✅ mercy and careful what you wish for next
And the acoustic version of burnin out
Mercy is amazing
Careful what you wish for 🍷🗿
Definitely mercy

Amen ! Like it's so "loud" that it drowns everything in your head, so peacefull.

Underrated song, probably my second or third favorite off that album
Yesss! I love this song, definitely a favorite. I hope I see a reaction :D
The first album and the second one is so amazing!!
I absolutely _love_ Enough Enough Now. First time I heard it I was immediately obsessed. Such a banger!

Yep. My family has been going through some pretty heavy stuff, and this song has helped me process it. I hope you are on the road to healing.
Wishing Well by Parkway Drive is another amazing loss catharsis song. For very similar reasons.
Fuck yes, so excited you listened to my suggestion on the last video. Can't wait.
Edit: it's worth watching the live version in another video, believe it or not his vocals are even lower in the live streamed live version.
He was told. I've linked him to the Barricade version. We need another Dethrone reaction!!

Other way around. Bad things happening in the world is WHY this music exists.
Gotta do Kingdom of Cards next! It’s my fave
Limits, No Where to run, Grey, Concrete Jungle all great songs as well! So glad you are doing a bunch of their songs!
Concrete Jungle & Limits please. all good tho

“The music video… is…. Extraordinarily disturbing”
I don’t know why the delivery of that was so funny to me
Loving all the excitement you have for Bad Omens! I love when I get so excited about finding a new (to me) band!
Fun Fact: They actually filmed this video in a living room!
I would recommend listening to Limits or Careful what you wish for!

Hey Alex, thanks for reviewing bad omens, amazing that I got several of their albums after the first reaction
honestly, that bass tone is so dark it;s unreal.
That clean wall of unearthly heft is perfect.
I wish they’d do stuff this heavy. It’s so good
"I'm turning this on full blast..." we all immediately went, welllll......lol
It is like a lot of the metal I listen to - catharsis. It leads to a calm that is anathemic to the actual sound.
