- In this video, I'm obsessed with the new band Bad Omens and their song "Like a Villain." I can't get the song out of my head and I had to react!
If you're a fan of metal then you need to check out Bad Omens! They're a heavy metal band from the UK that combines punk and metal into their sound. I can't believe I've never heard of them before now, but I'm officially a fan and I'm excited to hear more from them in the future.

Fucking same!! I was trying to figure out why I loved reaction videos so much and that's it, I fucking love watching people connect with songs that I connect with!
I just discovered these guys and fell in love recently and the couple friends I played them for weren't that interested so I got all excited when I seen Alex was watching them lol
What's even more impressive is Noah can hit these notes while playing live consistently. Seen them twice in concert now and would go 1000 more times!

I got to see them but something trigger a PTSD episode for him and he couldn't finish and he felt horrible and cried and came and gave us all hugs and told us how much he loved us

„Nowhere to go“ really got me falling in love with this band. The album is fantastic and each song a masterpiece on its own.

If you want to see some more of Noah's vocal versatility you should listen to Dethrone. His screams are absolutely insane and he's showcases how much of an amazing lyricist he is here too.

True story: I had this song on repeat for my entire hour car ride when I first discovered this song. I'm in absolute love with this song.
Not a huuuuge fan of their older stuff since that sounded a bit more like your usual metalcore band, but THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND is one of my all-time favourite albums now, hands down. No skips, all bangers. I have huuuuge respect, what a masterpiece. So have fun listening through it! My favourites (at the moment) are The Death of Peace of Mind, Artificial Suicide, IDWT$ and Nowhere to Go but I say "at the moment" because I go through phases all the time, I don't get tired of listening to these songs, ever.
I'm the complete opposite. My fav songs are from their first album. Malice and Hedonist are SO good.

Bad Omens was always a band that was on my radar but wasn't one of my faves (obviously I love Dethrone, exit wounds, careful what you wish for etc), but their new album TDOPOM absolutely floored me from start to finish and they're now one of if not my favourite band at the moment. And this album is one of the best I've ever heard in my entire life. It's just perfect from start to finish in my opinion, can't wait to see them in my hometown next February.

Alex! You have to listen to every song on this album. It’s definitely an Album of the Year contender. It is extremely rare now a days to have an entire album kick your ass
TDoPoM and Rakshak by Bloodywood are my two contenders and nothing else is close.
Hands down Album of the Year for me. You are so right, the whole album just kicks your ass. It has been on repeat since release. They are also insaaaaane live. saw them with Spiritbox and Bad Omens blew my fucking doors off.

A lot of Bad Omens fans have dissed this album saying its not metal enough. It is different from their last 2, but imo, its better. Noah's vocals have improved greatly.

i don't see whats wrong in preferring their other albums, imo their first two albums are way better. i just personally will always love heavy songs more. tdopom is great and shows their technical skill a lot but many songs are way too pop for me personally.
Honestly this song hits so hard on so many levels. The lyric "I know you tried your hardest, I know that you meant but you pushed me to the edge and slipped and then I fell" just slammed me in the chest and gave me goosebumps. The delivery and the instruments to back it up are just amazing. Probably gonna get a tattoo relating to this lyric at some point. Thats how hard it hit me.
The Grey is an amazing song from the album!
Literally their album fgbgfm is just as good mannn. The creativity and how intense it is to, the lyrics are my favorite.
Quick story i always love to share about this band:
summer 2022 was probably where was at my worst, y gf broke up with me after 2 years then went to home to my parents house for vacation and i discover that mom was FIGHTING CANCER (Luckily it was at its early stages - SHE IS OKAY NOW :) ), so this album was and still is a therapy to me, specially songs like Just pretend and like a villain, because they literally represented the emptiness and the thoughts i was going through at that time
so thats one of the reasons i just booked a vIP ticket for their show in Montreal the upcoming December just to tell Noah face to face how much his voice changed me and got me out of a VERY DARK place

These guys are just absolutely incredible. As soon as I listened they became my new favorite. Haven’t heard anything bad from them. This whole album is just amazing.
You REALLY need to do an album reaction. TDOPOM is incredible start to finish and really showcases all the elements the band puts into their music. You get heavy with Artificial Suicide, retro pop/emo with Bad Decisions, and catchy choruses in Just Pretend, The Grey and more.
So glad you finally got around to this band. Been begging for this for months!

This why I've been listening them non stop three months. And I found them three months ago so. My new fav to be sure no doubt. Noahs vocal range is heavenly good and the instruments just fit perfectly around the vocals. They're going to be something big.

Dude if you listen to this album without shuffle, the transition from the song What it Cost into this song is the most seamless transition ever. I didn’t even realize it was two different songs for the first couple weeks listening to this album. These guys are sooooo good. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This entire album is just amazing. Concrete Jungle, Just Pretend, and The Gray are my favorites. Saw them 3 times in concert this year and they are just as good live.

Catching up with all of your Bad Omens reactions and I've had full body chills since the scream started in the first video I watched lmao! I may or may NOT be rocking out so hard I almost broke my chair... but that's another story.
This is the only album I've been able to listen to for about 5 months now. I got out of the most abusive narcissistic relationship anyone could imagine, got the scars and screenshots to prove it. The day we split, I found this album and for whatever reason, I can't not listen to this multiple times a day on repeat.
You should give the rest of the album a listen as the tracks really stand out from one another.
I'd recommend "Just Pretend" or if you want to hear a track that is absolutely heart breaking, to the point you can hear the raw emotion in his voice, listen to "Enough, enough now"
I LOVE Bad Omens, they're the next generation in metalcore! My fave from the new album is, without a doubt, is The Grey.

You should listen to Like A Villain right after What It Cost, just like they are on the album. The two songs complement each other and the transition between the two is super gratifying

I discovered Bad Omens literally maybe a week ago and am totally obsessed with this entire album. I genuinely don't understand how it stayed under my radar for so many months. I was so mad when it wasn't available on my subscription streaming platform in my region that I filled out a feedback form AND messaged the label to let them know. Got it within days, and so happy.
My favorite songs by these guys are "Limits" and "The Grey". I saw them live at Rocklahoma 2022. Noah sounds so good live. There's so much passion in his voice, and he sounds just as amazing live as he does in the studio. I had to double take the moment I started hearing him sing because I actually couldn't believe it was him. Keep it metal. \m/

I fell in love with this band a few days ago, because i never heard of them 😮 how is this even possible and then i saw they were in germany at february and i missed it😮💨🤯😭
So much emotion put into this song. As much as I love the source of his genius and I want it to never stop but at the same time I don't want the emotion to take him off of this earth.
