Bergamask, Megamare, Terroni are the most used bottles so my default the most fav, maybe. Corium is my wear today and it's so great. It's a recent purchase and with the leather sleeve I can't tell you how much I used. Today 6 sprays. This might be the most "mainstream" of the lot. I like the patchouli/musk of Brutus very much. Least worn is Seminalis and Stercus but I think they're just as great. Boccanera is my cold weather choc/chile go to. Now Megamare is so strong literally 2 sprays and it'll last 24 hours. Great for hot weather. As for Viride I just haven't picked it up. Like all AG's work I'm positive the experience with it will be fantastic.

Thanks for the video Marcelo… since I’m Italian, these videos make me very proud😂
If you have the chance, I’d recommend that you try also Simone Andreoli’s scents, Lorenzo pazzaglia’s scents and Filippo Sorcinelli’s ones.
The first one, I like his “summer” scents, like “don’t ask me permission” and “Malibu”, but he also managed to make something more “serious”, like “smoke of desert” or “silenzio”
Lorenzo Pazzaglia’s fragrances are quite strange, there are some acquatics, but also scents inspired to Italian dishes, like “Carbonara”; I’d recommend “dream sea” or “Black Sea”.
Filippo sorcinelli is the one I struggle to like… he’s very into church and religion and he plays the organ. His fragrances are very strange, he has a whole collection on fragrances based on different churches he visited; anyway, I’d recommend “ennui noir”, which is the only one I’d wear, but also “reliquia” from him is very famous.
    Let me know 🤞🏻👌🏼

In the drydown of Boccanera, i find some similarities with Bvlgari Terrae Essence. Not the chocolate note, but the remaining - dark, slightly sweaty, damp but very interesting note. It turns a little sour on me in the end and mixes well with sweat.

Hey Percy, it’s awesome that you’ve started this conversation thread! And I love the varied view points on this🤩
For me, I only spray 3 times (but if deeper in the day if I would to reboot the early notes in the fragrance, I’ll spray an extra one….so 4 sprays is the max that I would ever spray on any of the Orto Parisi)
But I have noticed that some individuals like to spray more.
I am always scared that I will go ‘nose blind’ to the fragrance and so my mission is always to under spray and let my nose work for it.
I also find that when I spray three times people around me are picking up the fragrance
I agree with Steve that all the Orto Parisi last quite a while and also the sillage on it is pretty good….hope that helps.
Thanks everyone for jumping into this conversation 💪🏼🙏🏻

Hello, such an exquisite review of a perfume. I really want to buy some of this house fragrances. I started with a decant of Boccanera, such a praised and loved scent and I am really into those notes. But my decant has a slight different color, I mean, it is not that violet and the longevity of the scent is max. 4 hours. I thought that I went nose blind but other people can’t smell it too. It is possible that my decant has been “watered” down? ( my decat was bought from a national fraghead group from my country) . Many thanks 🙏

G'day, Marcello! Great channel! I Love your presentations and feel I share many olfactive favorites with you. Both Allesandro Gaultieri's projects, Nasomatto and Orto Parisi, are top of my list. Gaultieri is my favorite perfumer for so many reasons. His perfumes truly stand alone but as a perfumer and artist, he has raised the bar of perfumery into the realm of an olfactive, surreal art form. What other house or perfumer is doing this? Maybe B.A.S.M. a bit with their fairy tales, but even as brilliant as Art Landi is, he doesn't self promote as a surrealist the way Gaultieri does. I can gush on and on about this, but that's not why I am writing. It was you that really shed light on the name "Orto". After seeing a post of Gaultier's performance piece in Italy where he paraded a bucket on a pole, it clicked what you said: "Orto" does mean "butthole" too! His grandfather Parisi's vegetable garden flourished on nightsoil; human compost. That is where his infinity symbol emerges as well. My question to you, though, is that could someone have pulled a prank commenting that his perfumes have "Pisse de Cheval" and "Boya Butter" in them? Really? Horse piss and Personal lubricant? I mean, horse piss, maybe...

I always recommend that you test first on your skin. You want to see how this fragrance will evolve on you and your own body chemistry.
