I got the same rims. I guess those rims are popular🤔. 6” lift, perfect on the 1500’s. Mine is a 2021. I love my set up. With my 35” tires. That 2019 is a beautiful looking truck. Came out very nice🤙🏽
There is way too many negative comments on this video.
@4x4works, you guys did your thing and this looks amazing.
If anyone has anything to say negative, fuck em.
This is your profile and you dont need to explain anything.
Nice, it's a brand-new truck you don't wanna start chopping it up just to get a lift
Thanks man! Appreciate the awesome comment.
Jonathan Garcenila sometimes u just gotta say “fuck it dude”
Yeah, it's better to drive it for 5 years and then add a lift just to get rid of it a year later!!
Beautiful work in the ram 2019. look excellent I like. Thank for your video
I see people bashing RC lifts those people have probably read something that someone else has posted so they keep the trend going bashing Rough Country lifts. I have two jeeps an XJ and a TJ with RC lifts with no issue's for several year's. I just recently had to replace the shocks because they wore out which is something you would have to do with any other suspension brand after thousands of miles.
Thank for your comment Luke. I am with you all the way. We use a RC lift on our Shop Jeep and it has given us years of good service. RC even has a 3 year warranty on their shocks which is better than most quality shock manufacturers. Thanks so much for watching and the great commen brother.
I just drove a 13 Laramie on a 6" RC lift for almost 7 years.... Jsut traded it in o na brand new Longhorn.... I had no mechanical issues what so ever with the RC lift... The one and only thing I did not like about it is it started to rust very quickly... Not even a year old it was getting really rusty on the spacers up front... 2 years in the back RC shocks were stsrting to rust terribly and by year 3 or 4 every component of the lift was terribly rusted, you couldn't even see the rough country logos on the shock anymore and the front skid plate and front arms where literally flaking apart, little chunks would fall to the ground and shit because they were so rusted... It made the truck look like ass up close if you looked into the wheel wells and standing in front of the truck looking at the front RC skid plate... I mean in RCs defense I do live in Iowa we get a shit ton of snow in the winter and my truck was too tall to fit in my garage so it has sat outside most of its life so maybe the rc colponents wouldn't have rusted out so bad in better conditions.. But I still loved the lift on my truck it made the truck look so much nicer than stock and never had any mechanical issues with it and the truck still rode pretty damn good for having 6" lift and 35s on it, for the price rc cost I wouldn't hesitate to use it again compared to the prices of all the other options
What was the offset of the rim?
Can you please share the rim specs including backspacing and offset? This truck is stanced perfectly in my opinion. I just ordered a new Ram 1500 and will be doing something similar. Nice work!
When you guys put the lift on did you have to cut anything ?
Trent good work, nice truck!
Thanks you so much!
truck came out badass bro
Thanks man!
Thinking about getting my 2019 blacked out ram lifted . 6inch BDS lift with fuel vapors and nitto ridge grapplers. I would need the lift rims and tires .
As of today (03.21.2019), BDS does not offer a lift kit for this truck. I called their customer service to see if/when they might release and they were very stand-offish with one-word answers. The entire call last about 10 seconds. I have their 3.5" on my 2007 Ram 2500 but, given their attitude, they can suck it. Going with Pro Comp on the new 1500 I just ordered.
Not a fan of the running boards but lift looks awesome 👏🏻
Should've had a Bigger Offset on the Wheels
Are you thinking more negative offset? We went with what the lift manufacturer recommends. More offset with a 37" tire would have meant more modification to accommodate the tire.
@@4x4works.comvideos27 yep, it looks weird with such a Tall tire that is pretty much in line with the side of the truck.
I actually prefer a taller tire that DOESN'T stick out. This truck looks perfect to me. Everybody is so worried about that "stance". I think most of those "stanced" trucks with tires sticking out 6 inches past the body look really stupid. I don't want rocks and mud being slung down the side of my truck. Nice job on this one. I think it looks just right.
It could use slightly more stance but still looks good...all these dudes are out here driving around trucks that look like roller skates. Literally looks terrible.
@Charles Fuck off
Nicely done, any updates with the valence area ?
Thank you, I appreciate that. This vehicle has not yet made it in for its retorque of the lift so no updates on the Valance yet but when I test drove it I did not come across any issues.
Great video
Thanks so much!
That looks spot on. *_*
Thanks man!
Does the rough country lift kit require cutting or is it bolt on.
Just right. Looks good.
Hi sir, I have the 19 Laramie, because of your video I would like to have the exact same set up, however, could you explain further on about that auto adjustable balance you said is underneath? What did the truck perform after the customer drove the truck? Nice job!
Auto adjustable VALANCE. When the truck is at higher speeds it will automatically come down for aerodynamics if you will for better fuel economy.
@@khyoon14have a 2003 dodge ram having seen anything besides rough country.. not many places sell for this truck . It's not a 4x4 rather a normal 2wd.. and parts they have are 4x4😢 and not to mention it's a quad cab.
Do y’all correct the speedometer?
Nice lookin truckin buddy...
I already got a 3.5 inch lift on my 2019 Rebel. I’m going to get 35 inch tires so should I get 20 inch wheels or 18 inch wheels? I like the fuel wheels called Blitz
Go 20s if that's what you're looking for. You could probably fit a full 35x12.5x20 on the 3.5 as long and the auto valance doesn't interfere
Just make sure you stay in the 0 offset range.
Do you guys offer lift solutions for SUVs? I have a Volkswagen Touareg with air suspension and I want to see if there's a way to add an extra inch or two to the maximum suspension height.
Do they have custom aftermarket grills yet? The stock grills are ugly
Nice truck but if im spending 50k plus on a truck i damn sure wouldnt have put rough country on it. BDS all day.
As of today, BDS does not offer a lift kit to fit this truck
@@rosshco6522 BDS offers a 6" lift for the 2019 Ram 1500 4x4
Kyle Sessoms Agreed. They released it not long after I wrote my comment above. Hence why I wrote ‘as of today.’ Fast forward to today (06/03/19), I have the BDS with their UCA’s and Fox rear shocks installed on my 19 Laramie and it’s awesome. Worth the wait.
RossHco what size wheels and tires? I’m getting ready to get the BDS 6” installed on my 2019 Laramie and I can’t wait. Would love to see some pics.
Great job👍
RC is a good lift don't let anyone tell you any different
So does replacing that spindle replace the need of new upper control arms to have a better angle?
Theres a truss the loweres the mounting position of the lower control arm. The longer spindle is needed to reach the upper ca
Any gear changes going to the 37's
buff daddy doubt they did but I would’ve.
@@khyoon14 I agree . Almost a must .
Can anyone tell me if a higher level adjustable air suspension kit be installed on a RAM ? The factory adjustable is to low and like to keep it high at speed for better vision
How can the spacers be safe
Many suspension lift companies employ spacers to achieve lift.
By themselves it can be iffy depending on how many inches they are. I’m assuming how the knuckle or spindle solves all that.
Are they 20” fuel assault wheels?
Do you guys sell this 6” strut spacer?
I have a 2020 laramie 1500 2WD will 2019 lift fit on mine
What is the offset and size of the wheels?
What size wheels is on there
I test drove a 2019 1500 Big Horn and decided 6" lift was way too much. I would never be able to comfortably load dirt-bikes into the bed. Lol
These trucks definitely need 37’s with the 6” lift.
Which model.is that
What size tire?
Dont roast me for the question, but can you put those wheels without putting a lift on it ?
Hey man, yes you can but you might have to run a more positive offset. I recommend at least a level kit. That will allow to you run 305/55/20 tires with a 20×9 with a 0 offset wheel.
I just bought a 2020 1500 big horn ...came with a 6 inch lift...dont know brand....but i now need to pull a 9000 lb rv trailer and it squats terrible....i am being told standard airbags wont work with this lift on....do you know if an airbag in the coils are any good...problems?... appreciate any help before i go trade this truck back in.....thanks
What did you go with ever? I need something no matter what you throw at it it can handle the weight. Flawlessly.. going to do some work in Mexico and need a lift not only for looks🤢breather the performce and can handle speed bumps and all no problem.. and need it for a 2003 dodge ram.. it's rough. But I well get the paint in Mexico. Lift in the USA. Have a led bar up top. Remove the ugly average tint. And get ceramic.. and add that nice 1000 dollar headlights in LEDs of course and reverse led lights and the 3rd break light... And have the exact same lift like this. And close to this sticking out.m dislike having it so way out feel unsafe.
whats the total price of the package? truck, lift, etc.
Hey man. Give me a shout at 469-424-0028 for pricing. Of course just as for Trent.
Justin Prince it's always so nice to hear comments from professional engineers like yourself. I would love to hear about how you were involved in the extension research and development of a supremely successful suspension lift and accessory company. Unless you're just a know it all keyboard pilot. In which case keep it to yourself. Also thanks for your viewership keep an eye out for my next video.
With bigger tires and wheels you will need a complete brake upgrade. Larger rotors and calipers as you rolling mass is much greater
We have done a million lifts, or so it seems like, and have never done a brake upgrade on a newer truck. Most trucks have disk brakes front and rear. Current braking technology proves to be very adequate for these size tires. You should find a way to test drive one. I think you will be very please.
not true at all , respectfully, I have a 2020 ram 1500 4x4 , 6'' zone lift with 18x9 wheels , 37x12.5r18 , breaking power works fine, not issues at all
20x9 ? 0 offset ?
The customer supplied this wheel and tire package, we believe they are 20x10 with a +1 offset.
Can u lift a truck with the air suspension?
We can actually but with a different manufacturer of susp lift. Give me a shout at 469-424-0028 of course just ask for Trent and I would love to put some info together for you.
Are you guys a BDS dealer ? Have a 19 Limited with air and would like to fit 24s and 35s
I also live in Mckinney
Yessir we sure are. Give me a shout at 469-424-0028 and ask for Trent. We would love to help you.
You wint be abe ti fit them with air ride they will rub like cars i had a old 2018 Limited with air ride couldn't lift it sold for a 2019 2500 and ened putting a 10-12 BDS 4 long arm lift with air bags in the rear and Fury42x15.50R28x16 Fule Forged wheels. Might end up selling for a 2020 Chevy Durmax with the 10Speed ill make videos on it a do build for sema 2020
Harry Styles rough country just came out with a kit for it so I’m hoping BDS and the others follow suit soon.
iPaul143 after they do the lift will you still be able to use the adjustable ride Height
It’s looking freaking Sweet shud do a 2019 Longhorn with 6” 37x22 or 37x24
Thanks Derrick. We are definitely ready to see what some 22s look like. Can't wait until we get the next one in! Thanks for watching brother!
Any rubbing with the 37’s??
Tiare Amezcua they trimmed it
Beast
Drive review??
what is the purpose of this kit
Newton Washington that's a great question and I'm glad you ask. The purpose of a lift can be a few different thing. This kit is meant to accommodate a larger wheel and tire package, and increase ground clearance for the truck. It also adds a significantly more curb appeal to the truck and can improve performance off of the road. Thanks so much for the awesome question and watching this video!
Newton Washinton to look mean and awesome
Hopefully you changed the gearing
*drooooollllllllll* mah gawd!
Thank you so much!
The first 19 I have seen with a 6" lift..looks great..get rid of that hideous step..get the amp power step ..put on a new rough country sport bar and it would be spectacular
I don't like to criticize other people's decisions but I agree the power steps or rough country bar would benefit this truck. Otherwise, beautiful!
Cheapest lift kit around on a brand new $60k truck. smh
Why do you think a person has to spend large amounts of money on a lift for their truck? This is a good lift with good warranty, its affordable, and it makes the customer happy. I'll bet it doesn't make you feel good when people criticize the decisions that you make on your own stuff. What makes you think it's ok to do that to others?
@@4x4works.comvideos27 Just seems to be counter intuitive to take a very high end truck and then throw on the cheapest kit just to achieve the look you want. RCX lifts ride notoriously bad. When you are already $60k into a truck why not invest another $1000 and get yourself a lift that will maintain your OEM ride quality with better shocks and not use spacers. All lifts have good warranty. Sorry if I offended you
Devon Musika no offense taken and we appreciate the concern. Apologies if the reply seemed direct. Definitely understand where you're coming from. However we have been installing RC lifts for years along with many other manufacturers. What it really boils down to is the lift actually doesn't ride bad, using spacer keeps close to factory ride experience, it's the same oe stuff with spacers, still rides well. And for some people it's just like you said, it's just to achieve the look. Some folks dont want to spend over 2k or more for a lift for whatever reason and that's ok. It's all about making the owner happy and making his vision possible.
RC dont make a 6 inch lift for them years. only a 5 in
I don't know why but I don't really like how this truck look on 6 lift
I dont like it. It dont go with the body style of the truck they look better to me stock wheels. The 4th gen looks better lifted.
Rough counrty on a 60k truck i havea FTS lift on mine its a 10 to 12inch
Full Throttle is a great company. Especially if you want to get into the bigger lifts. What did you go with for tires?
👌👌💪💪💪💪
Tony Rodio, RC does not offer a lift kit that is compatible with air ride susp but BDS does. Give me a call at 469-424-0028 on Monday and I can go over your options with you. Of course just ask for Trent.
They do offer a lift for the air ride ram 2019
@@tonyrodio5668 Lots of chatter on here about BDS but, as of today, they do not offer a lift kit for the new Ram 1500... maybe the 2019 "Classic" but not the new
Say good bye to your warranty
RC offers a shield warranty for your truck. If you get denied coverage due to your lift RC will help with repairs.
Should b-24 offset 🤨
I agree, I would like to see a little more offset but the 37s only allow so much without the need to trim. We will see what the next adventure gives us.
20x10 -25 offset I want to do with same 6 inch lift and 37s! I have same truck!!! Will I need to trim??
The highest acceptable for these body styles would be a two inch.
I don’t think that that kit was anygood
Why dont you tell us about you experience in lift kit technology, and what you as an engineer would do differently?
Thos is dumb. Rough Country is garbage. I cant imagine how much worse this truck drives with that lift. SPS
Garbage lift kit

Hot GARBAGE
We dont have time to listen to stories about your social life.
Did you have to replace the Upper Control Arms?
The kit in this video utilizes the factory control arms.
@@4x4works.comvideos27 So it is safe to reuse the factory UCAs. Just making sure because I'm getting ready to put a leveling kit on my 19 Ram.
Absolutely, your standard level kit is pretty darn straight forward. We do level kits all day long.
“Rough Country” It will ride like shit! It’s all in our name! 👍🏿 made in china 🇨🇳
