I recently purchased a 2019 GMC Sierra SLE 1500 with the X-31 package 13,216 original miles with the 5.3 and I'm loving it. So i want to put a 4 inch fabtech lift on it and the place wants to charge me almost 4k I'm also putting 33's on it
BDS, CST or Zone. I have an adjustable CST kit on my 14' GMC 2500 Z71. The kit is set to 4 inches leveled with 35's x 12.5's and the truck is heavily modified for overlanding and has crawled through some pretty rough trails that would give a factory 4x4 a run for its money. I have never had an issue with a CST part or a component affected by a CST part. If you are planning to be a mall crawler with 22's that get waxed every week and never sees actually off road then go with some garbage kit from RC or Fabtech. If plan on building a long term overlander or trail truck that you want to last, get a quality kit from a company that has done a fair amount of R&D into the areas of compatibility with factory components and longevity, such as BDS, CST or Zone.
Might need to mention if you have a 1 piece or 2 piece driveshaft as many lift / level kits isn't compatible with 2 piece driveshafts and might want to note as well what lift/level height kits prevents you from parking in parking decks

I bought my 2016 Ram 1500 Sport already modified from the dealership with the 4 inch BDS lift, Mud King Fender Flares, Amp Research retractable running boards a mild engine tune on the 5.7 Hemi and 35x12.5 20 Toyo Open Country MT's. At work we use stock Ram 1500's and 2500's to roam around the deserts of southern Nevada. Over all, I put about 5,000 miles a month on my work Ram's with it being around 60% dirt roads ranging from well maintained dirt to "OMG that wild sheep is going to break an ankle if it keeps walking on this road". There is no comparison between my lifted 1500 and the stock base models I drive at work. The BDS kit is amazing. It drives great and feels solid, stabile and smooth both on and off road and it might just be the most bad ass looking truck in my small rural town which is full of bad ass lifted trucks. I have put just over 40k miles on my truck with the lift kit installed and it has taken all of the abuse I put it through without any problems what so ever. I would have no problem at all giving anyone a recommendation for BDS. Yes, you can save a little money going with a cheaper brand but like most things, you usually do get what you pay for.

AEV kits are nice. I thought about one for my 3500 Diesel. Decided against and just want a leveling kit. Will take the toggle switch pod for the dash though.
Thanks for the feedback!
Might need to mention if you have a 1 piece or 2 piece driveshaft as many lift / level kits isn't compatible with 2 piece driveshafts and might want to note as well what lift/level height kits prevents you from parking in parking decks
Can you do a tutorial on Jeep lifts suspension mainly?
Max Trac for 3rd gen rangers if you want to not spend so much. Love the way it turned out

Leaning BDS for my 2018 GMC Sierra Denali 1500 with magnaride suspension. Any recommendations for specific BDS lift kit (or other mfg's) for my vehicle? Thank you. Great video!!
I am a 2001 Chevy silverado 1500 4wd extended cab 4x4 so which 4inch lift kits are the best for my money
Looking for a 4" lift for a 2013 F150 that uses coil-over up front AND replacement leaf springs in the rear and NOT lift blocks. Know any sources? Thanks.
Here is a 4" Fabtech kit that comes with Dirt Logic coilovers, however all the 4" kits do come with lift blocks for the rear. Check out our 4" Fabtech kit that fits your 2013 F150 here!

It's like you were talking directly to me.
Got a 19 Tacoma 4x4. Using as a daily driver and off-road around home and for work some times but no heavy trails or anything. Which set up would you recommend. Midrange price budget.
Evan, send an email to info@customoffsets.com and they should be able to help you figure out which suspension kit would work best for you!
Hey huge fan of your page. Quick question. I seen somewhere that going with a 4 inch over a 3.5 is better for wear and tear. Been looking at 3.5 but if making the small jump up to a 4 inch could save some hassle with wear and tear then makes sense to me. Thanks in advance for your help 👊😎👍
4 inch lift kit for 2019 gmc 2500. Mostly driven on the road. Want the front and rear tires to track nearly the same width and I need slight flair because tires can not stick out beyond body width in my state. Thanks
I would recommend this 4.5" BDS kit! It is good quality and will not increase the front track width!

How about a no bullshit recommendation for an approximate 4" lift on a 2016 chevy LTZ 4 door Silverado that I can run my 20" rims with? I'll be running 33" BFG's ...I want very good quality with no balljoint angle , drivetrain problems and a good quality ride. I want trouble-free equipment... money doesn't matter... I Don't Want Headaches!!!
Something like this would be your best bet then if you want the best of the best - www.customwheeloffset.com/store/suspension/59076/cognito-4-inch-elite-lift-kit-07-18-chevrolet-gmc-1500-oe-cast-steel-control-arms?year=2016&make=Chevrolet&model=Silverado+1500&drive=4WD

@@CustomOffsetsTV what's your opinion on pantagonia tires? Was going to go with them on 20×10
I just bought a 2020 ram rebel
Wondering whats the best
Or should i say the maximum lift i can get with out cuting in to Frame - truck
Obviously something that will not affect my factory warranty and possibly destroy ball joints/CV joints
Thx so much
I ordered my zr2 with the bds lift and 35 tires and its still covered under factory warranty.
Fuller, are you ALSO in the background working on the truck on the lift?
4.5 lift for my 2018 Silverado 1500.
What do y’all think for my 2004 4wd f150
4 inch rough country or a 4 inch zone. I was planning on one of these because I’m 16 and can’t save up for the $2300 bds kit since I have to get tires and wheels. I was thinking zone because it’s the little brother to bds
Its mostly personal preference weve heard good reviews on both!
Do one on the 3-1/2" kit. On kits with no cutting involved. Got a 14 Ram sport 4x4 and stock height is tall enough for me. It's about 44" from ground to fender. Also do the 3-1/2" kits come with uniball control arms!? Wanna beef up the Ram a little bit, replace some of the crap Fiat parts...
They come with a heavy duty upper control arm, heres a link to the 3.5" kit for your 14 ram 1500:

I just bought a brand new toyota tundra crewmax,i will mainly be on the highway but some offroad, whats the best options to not lose ride quality w a 4in lift?and what price am i looking at pating for install?thanks
Typically the more you pay, the better quality. BDS Suspension is a good setup. Shop prices vary so we would recommend calling local shops you want to take it to!

Do you guys have any videos or comments/review on the rough country 3” lift (19 F-150 4wd)? It’s $800 on your site and I’m very interested. Don’t want to just get strut spacers because I don’t want to have a super stiff ride. Thanks!
I have a 06 1500 Silverado ext cab WT model 2wd and I’m looking to put a 3-4.5” lift on but I dint trust my own skill enough to install it, do you guys install if so how much would it cost?

Hey great vid I am trying to find what I could get for my 2017 Silverado I just got I do a little bit of off road other then that it’s a pavement princess I don’t do major off-roading I do just a little every now and then
Honestly going with the RC lift with vertex shocks would do ya good or if you have the money, go with a BDS kit!
Why is it that you guys do not carry maxtrac lifts ? I have the 7inch kit on my 16 Ram and it is great !! With 22x12 - 44 on 35's .. and its a 2wd truck !!!
There is a few reasons why we dont carry maxtrac lift kits, the main reason is the margin just isnt there.

Hey, I have a 1991 Ford F-150 xlt lariat 4x4. I was looking at four inch lift kits and noticed that none that I could see had six shock absorbers, sense my truck is an xlt lariat it has four shock absorbers in the front and two in the back. If you could show me what lift kit to use that would be amazing.

Wish the bds kits weren’t $2300 for my 04 f150, I’m only 16 and can’t spend that much since I’m getting tired and wheels
How do the kits work with the new TrailBoss/AT4 and Rebel which all advertise a factory 2” lift? Do they add more lift on top of that 2” lift or do the kits remove the factory lift and replace it with the new one?
Thanks
It removes the factory lift, its not a good idea to stack lifts at all even factory ones
2012 Ram 1500 4x4- This truck is used for on and off road Emergency Response ( Fire Service ) Currently running 2" level kit with 35x12.50R20 looking for a 4 inch lift- Was looking at the Fox 883-02-073 however I'm not sure how the ride quality would be when its adjusted to the 4inch.? This 883-02-073 can be adjusted from 4-6inch and for the Rear 883-24-029 ?

I don’t do much off road but i want a lift that can take pothole and cracks without feeling it inside the cab.. i do mostly highway.. is BDS a good choice? Or its mainly for offroad?
BDS or Mcgaughys would be a great choice!
Is there any 4 inch lift kit for 2019 Chevrolet Silverado RWD? Any recommendations??
What's the best riding 4" lift kits for a 2017 F-150 4WD? I'd like to run my stock 20" Platinum wheels and 295/65 tires. Would like it to feel as near to the stock ride quality as possible.

4-6 inch lift for my 1990 Chevy V3500
Yeah Steve!
Gotta be honest, there's so much out there, and so much beyond my budget. Have a 2018 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4 Crew Cab. But want something that's gonna improve my daily driving experience, able to still tow without sag, and will hold up off roading from the desert to the snow with 35's. Is there any 1 kit you'd recommend for a limited budget? You guys really know your stuff, and I appreciate all the videos. Thanks!!
Check out BDS, Zone, ReadyLift, and Rough Country! customoffsets.com/suspension
Did you end up buying something I'm 1500 sport crew cab looking for the ride and no tow sag as well. I definitely don't want apacers in the rear I'm pretty sure new struts is better
Yep!!! Ended up with the Carli Suspension "Commuter Kit". VERY happy with it, everything I was asking for and a true suspension lift, no blocks. Highly recommend.
Maybe you've already covered this question in another video but how will the four inch lift effect my 2500s towing ability when I put 35s tires on her?
As long as you buy a quality lift you will be fine!
