I was there and it was awesome. The UIL Track and Field State Championships is the best sporting event year in and year out especially when you consider a ticket only costs $16. I make it a point to go every year.
I'd say Texas Relays is the best sporting event for collegiate/ high school. But UIL is always exciting to spectate as well!

Why the announcer say the national record is 39.76 when it's been broken multiple times this year? UIL ain't got google?
4 sub 40 sec times in this race plus another one in the 5A meet is serious gas.
Smoked them- Then Leal tore them up in the 1600m and 3200m 💪🏼

First, I would like to say thank you for the coverage. I ran at the state meet in Texas for three years out of high school and I use to attend the meet every year, but I’m currently living out of the country and can’t do so so I’ve been searching for the track meet on UA-cam and I came across this. Thank you but it’s disappointing that the cameraman is on the ground level. When spectators go to a track meet or any sporting event they are not sitting on the ground. There’s a reason why you have stands. This could’ve been a much better recording video if it was from a spectators view oppose to viewing as if I was a competitor or lane judge. This is bittersweet, on to finding a sweeter video.

* Female Announcer was all wrong with the results of the 6A Girls 4x1
* Male Announcer did not even lead into and set up the 6A Boys 4x1 and it is the premier event in the entire USA
* That camera had me on a roller coaster - May have to set up at top of stands or front row of either side of stadium
* Nevertheless , I enjoyed the coverage since we were blocked from coming due to flooding here in North Houston.

I'm from Pennsylvania and I hate your governor, lt. governor and attn. general. BUT, I sure do LOVE the UIL State Track & Field and Football Championships. Besides the PENN RELAYS, TEXAS Track & Field is at the Top of all .
Why are you so worried about the gov/attorney general from another state who have absolutely zero effect on your life. Second why did that even need to be said? You could've just said you love Texas track and field without bringing in your political opinions about our state.
