I have watched this over and over, highlights and all. It is such a TEAM win. Those girls are so well-coached and they just did everything they could to win that game. WOW. I cannot imagine the emotion (although I have gotten emotional watching it over and over) by Andrea Ortiz when she made contact. She got around those bases so fast...I would imagine she just wanted to be with her teammates! I love watching the coach's reaction as the HR was hit and after! Also, pure emotion! This will forever be the greatest game I've ever been to. I will forever remember looking up into the sky just before the bottom of the 7th and praying. Sure enough, Weslaco played the way they've played all year: Determined. I had been to almost all the playoff games/series. I knew there was something special about this team. The region we're from is overlooked and underappreciated. This win proved that ANYTHING is possible. This team proved that NOTHING is impossible. Unbelievable. Way to Go Weslaco!

the more of the game i watch, the more unbelievable the comeback feels. not only down big, but back to back midway homers to open up the 7th. then the first batter flies out to open up the bottom of the 7th, and weslaco never gets out again. andrea was 0-7 in her previous 7 at bats, including a fly out to end the 6th inning, but she came through when it mattered most. truly incredible!
